I've Been Published! Craft Stamper March 2016

Hello my lovelies! I hope you are all well and keeping warm, away from these strong winds!

Just a short post to give you heads up about my project and a tutorial shared in the March issue of the Craft Stamper's mag (hitting the shops this Friday or already in your post box if you are a subscriber). I will be showing how to achieve glass etched magic with assistance of your favourite rubber stamps! I am using a goooorgous background stamp Leather Flowers from Stampendous and you can see a tasty sneak peek of my project above :).

I am always sooooo excited to see my work in print - thank you so much Trish (our super fab Editor)!

I hope you will enjoy my tutorial & inspiration! If you can get a copy of the magazine, be sure to check out page 23 :). The mag is FULL of fantastic mixed medialicious projects - you don't want to miss this issue. You can order your copy from Traplet Publications' online SHOP, or download a digital copy from POCKETMAGS!

Sunflower Love Wedding Layout

Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

As promised in my previous post with the Sunflower Wedding Card I'm back today with more happy sunflowers to share. And this time I have a scrapbook page to show you!

Better still! Today over at Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L's blog I have a lovely tutorial for this Sunflower Wedding Layout - I hope you will have a moment to check it out :).

When I sat at my crafty table I knew I wanted to make a layout to commemorate this beautiful wedding day we were so blessed to be a part of.

But I must confess - at first I was struggling with a big creative block and I couldn't find a way to get out of it. Until I reached out for my trusty Scrapbook Pages Pinterest Board and this immediately kick started my creative mojo. The inspiration & the structure for this layout came from this amazing layout by Camilla featured on Maja Design blog.

Other supplies:

Papers - BoBunny Sweet Life, Graphic45 Place In Time;
Cardstock - Core'dinations
Stampendous - Lemon Yellow Fun Flock, Sea Green Ultra Fine Glitter
Flowersoft;
White Rub-Ons - Craft Consortium;
Acrylic paints -- DecoArt;
Spellbinders - Foliage die set;
punches: Woodware - Daisies; Martha Stewart - Pine Branch
Flowers - Prima Marketing & other;
Ribbon - May Arts;
small wooden frames, word stickers, small gems, letter beads, craft wire

My layout includes a bunch of handmade flowers - be sure to check out my tutorial to find out more :).

And what do you think of my cute little banner? :)

So there you have it - my offering for today :). I hope you like it!

Thank you for stopping by and for letting me know you've been. Sending you lots of warm wishes for a creative week ahead!

And most importantly - prepare yourself to be totally inspired!

My offering for today is a Mother's Day card I made for my Mum. In Poland we celebrate Mother's Day on the 26th of May, so you mustn't say a word to my Mum, because she hasn't seen the card yet lol :).

For my project I used the Lock Send it Clear Card set which is super cool, as the top elements kind of lock in allowing you to create a gatefold card.

My Mum also loves peonies so I made this beautiful Peony Spray image the focal point of my card. I stamped it onto the patterned paper with clear embossing ink, heat embossed it with the Black Detail Embossing Powder and coloured it with Inktense pencils.

I made this beautiful Peony Spray image the focal point of my card. Na pierwszym planie umieściłam ręcznie stemplowaną piwionię (stempel Peony Spray ).
As part of my recent discoveries on Instagram, I've stumbled upon a new UK based scrapbook and decoupage papers company called Craft Consortium and I immediately fell in love with their designs. So imagine my pure delight when they invited me to have a play with their scrapbook papers - I couldn't wait to start crafting! So I just HAD to use the papers from the Gypsy Gypsy pad on my today's project - needs must, if you know what I mean! Lol :)

So first, I covered the back of my acrylic base with the paper and because the papers are double sided, the pattern shows through the front of the clear acrylic. I used Adhesive Sheets from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® as my adhesive as they are brilliant for this kind of thing (transparencies, vellum etc) - you get perfectly even coverage meaning the adhesive becomes virtually 'invisible'.

To decorate my acrylic bases with patterned papers I used Adhesive Sheets. Moją akrylową bazę pokryłam ozdobnym papierem przyklejonym za pomocą Adhesive Sheets.
Then, I cut out a decorative panel from the Gypsy Gypsy pad which I over-stamped with Royal Heart Quotes, Vintage Ladies and Frantage Flowers Perfectly Clear stamps (inked with Sepia Archival) and with cling Vintage Letter stamped with DecoArt Americana Pink Chiffon acrylic paint.

I stamped the front folds with Lace Chalky Finish paint and added ink splatters. Do stemplowania zakładek użyłam farby Lace Chalky Finish i spryskałam również kleksy białym tuszem..
I also used the Vintage Letter stamp and the DecoArt Lace Chalky Finish paint to stamp the front folds. I finished the folds with a light mist of Dylusions White Linen spray and the DecoArt's Texture Crackle tinted with Pink Chiffon Paint. To secure my front folds I added hinges (die cut using PaperArtsy Hardware #1 die), which I laced up with crinkle ribbon from May Arts.

To create the sentiment I added some cute alpha beads. Moją sentencję ułożylam z lieterek - koralików.
That's all from me for today! Here's the list of blogs playing today:

Thank you for stopping by and all your lovely comments. Have a super happy week and good luck in the draw!
