Hello All!! This is going to be a quick post since my electric is threatening to go out.  It has almost gone off four times already (going off for a few minutes and then off).  I don't want to let my Divine Diva team members down so I better get to it.

Today it is time for another Divine Diva Inspiration challenge.  Lori sent the team this photo as our inspiration

I took my inspiration from the owl and leaves as well as the pink and brown.  This is my completed project:

The image is from Inkadinkadoo Birds Galore clear stamp set which is one of my more neglected stamps.  We never have enough time to ink all we have it seems.  I stamped it in brown and then added pink to it. The dp is basic grey sugared.  The pearls are ZVA Creative.

Happy Thursday Everyone!!  I hope all is well!! Today I am popping in with a few different projects!!  I guess I am tired of just making cards so I decided it was time to switch it up a bit.

Anywho...today is the Divine Diva challenge.  Lori sent the team this link to a hostess sight showing Fall and Thanksgiving Day treats.  I chose this photo as my inspiration:

Doesn't this look yummy!!  I just had to make caramel apples and a treat container.  Here is my take on the challenge.  This is my entire project for the Diva challenge.

Here is my treat container that I created with an altered Recollections Flower container from Michaels, some muslin fabric and the digi apple image (Apple a Day Digital set) which I colored with copics from Designed to Delight.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up.  I just loved the wood lid and had to leave it uncovered.  The circle shape with the glass blobs on it is created with the Spellbinders Bead it Circles.  The label for the sentiment uses the from Labels 13 die from SpellbindersThe doily under the treat jar is created by fraying some Muslin and stamping leaves from the Your Next Stamp Autumn Greetings setI added stitching on my image panel.

The contents of the jar includes 1/2 a Granny smith and Red Delicious apple chopped.  A large heath bar chopped into small pieces (or 4 small) and caramel sauce at the bottom. Yum!!!

Here is my Caramel apple that I created and rolled in nuts so it would not stick to my packaging.  The image is a digital freebie (two apples) from Designed to Delight.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up.  The nestabilities used are the Lacey circles from Spellbinders and the Scalloped Circles.

Hello Everyone!!  Can't believe it is Thursday already and it is only one more day before the weekend! Wow! Times flies!!

Today I have two creations to share with you.  The first is for today's Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge.  Lori sent each of the dt this photo.

I was inspired by the orange twigs and the white background.  For my image, I used Echoes of Kindness from Stampin Up.  I embossed my white background with a Cuttlebug die.  I love how the image has an autumn feel to it with the Pumpkin Pie color.  I stitched around the edges of the card and used a decorative stitch around the image as well.  The lace is from a RAK from my dear friend Sabrina.  Thanks Sabrina.  The ribbon is May Arts Silk ribbon.  The punch for the decorative is a Martha Stewart  Flower Vine Punch (some of the punching is hidden (it was too wide for this card).

IMPORTANT STORE INFORMATION FROM WHIMSY!! The Whimsy store website is having a major server issues.... Please read the letter below for more information.

Attached is a letter from Denise at Whimsy.  Please read...
Good Morning,

As many of you know, the Whimsy Stamps Online Store has been offline for the past few days, as we have been upgrading our hosting server to support all of our great customers, and the increased demand we have been experiencing over the past few months. Please accept our sincerest apology for any inconvenience this has caused you. We greatly appreciate your patience and support.

Our tech support team has been feverishly working to make the transition, but an issue that occurred with our store during the transition has forced us to do a full restore of our database. The good news is they will be able to get us back online - the bad news is it may take as many as 7 to 10 days to do so. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and promise that while we may not be online, we are still working to serve our customers.

All orders placed before the server switch have been shipped and/or are pending shipment. We are waiting on custom orders which should be here on Friday, September 17th. Those orders will be shipped immediately. If you have ordered digital stamp products and you did not have access to retrieve those files, please email us at whimsystamps@gmail.com and we will promptly send you the files via email.

Lastly, if anyone would like to place an order while we are offline, you can email us at whimsystamps@gmail.com and we will send you an invoice through PayPal and process your order as soon as possible. Digital stamp orders can be filled via email and I can ship out rubber stamp products. If you are willing to email orders, we are more than willing to provide you with the best customer service possible to get you what you need.

We do have many exciting events and promotions planned for the coming weeks at Whimsy and we are determined to not let those plans be affected by this…let's just call it… a mess! We will continue to bring our customers new digital and rubber stamps and we will be back better than ever! Please hang in there with us, check for updates on Facebook and our Whimsy Inspirations Blog. We will post any new updates as soon as they are available.

Thank you sincerely for your continued support and patronage.
Sincerely,
Denise

Happy Thursday!  I hope everyone is having a good summer.  I have begun homeschooling my girls but this week we moved our classroom to a campground.  We work on our schoolwork in the a.m. and have recreation all afternoon.

Anywho...today it is time for another Divine Diva Inspiration challenge.  Lori sent each of us this photo to be inspired with:

I was inspired by the sage panels, the distressed wood as  well as the big bloom in the photo.  So...I wiped off the dust on my Bella Blooms set from SU!!  I so love my SU sets and I use them so infrequently.  How sad!!  I really enjoyed creating with this stamp set.  I used one of the layouts from the Dirty Dozen challenges this past summer.

Hi Everyone!! I hope you are all doing well today!! I am so excited to be sharing the second day of sneak peaks with Wags n Whiskers Gorgeous images. This image is Hannah Fairy which will be available tomorrow at 7 a.m. EST.  I colored her with copics and thought it would be fun to create a circular card for her with a distressed or shabby chic feel to her. The dp is DCWV Nursery Paper.  I made the shape with my circular nestibilities and added sewing for some texture. The sentiment is from Stampin UP. I plan on giving this to my dear daughter who sometimes feels like she is not as special as her sister.  I hope this shows just a measure of how much I love her.

Bee Crafty: challenge 36 - ribbons n bows
Creative Card Crew- Sparkle and Shine
My time to Craft- glitter and glitz

The second creation I have to share with you today uses the Divine Diva inspiration challenge photo sent to me by Lori.  I love Lindt Chocolate so I thought this was so fun to use and make a gift set for my daughter's Sunday School teacher.  I would make it for her regular school teacher but that would be me. LOL!  Not that I wouldn't enjoy this for myself...

I used the image: Teddy Bear Abc's image illustrated by Meljen's Designs' available as a digi at Whimsy stamps.  I just thought this is the perfect school time image.  I then created a chocolate gift holder that can be hung over a water bottle.
The sentiment is from Whimsy's Ticket Sentiments created by Ann Vento and is available as a rubber stamp set.

Happy Thursday!  I hope everyone is having a good summer.  I know I am. Yesterday I spent the day traveling with my kids to meet a friend.  We had a blast!  We went swimming, played at the playground, went out for lunch and etc....  It was so hot but the perfect summer activity.  My girls were so happy!  I can't believe that it is August and school begins soon.

Anywho...today it is time for another Divine Diva Inspiration challenge.  Lori sent each of us this photo to be inspired with:

When I saw this photo, I was not sure if the colors were red, yellow and blue or pink, yellow and blue.  So...I went with a rose or Melon Mamba color.  The dp I found in my stash reminded me of the flowers coloring the yellow tequila bottle.

I used the sketch from Mojo Monday this week and the NEW Birthday Letter Seals from Whimsy stamps released last week.
The yellow piece of dp is a scrap from my scrap bin, the melon mamba print is from my Basic Grey Green At Heart stack.

Anywho...today is the Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge! Lori sent the team this photo to be inspired by:I was inspired by the pink flowers in the center of the wrapping paper. Since I have several friends that have lost a parent, I need to be sending out Sympathy cards. I thought the flower in Close to my Heart from SU were very similar to the flowers on the gift wrap. The frame I created around my window was cased from the ever so talented Yvonne here. My very dear friend, Grace just blessed me with the Lotus borders set in some Happy Mail!! Thanks Grace!!!
The sentiments are from Our Daily Bread Designs- Thinking of You and With Deepest Sympathy.

There is lots of embossing inside and out but the outside has lots of dies that cover it so it is hard to see in person. The layout uses the Pixie Cottage layout from last week.

Happy Thursday everyone!! I hope you are all having a great week!! By now my family and I are probably touring the countryside in Lancaster, PA, shopping in the Amish stores, checking out the selection of dp at the nearby Kings, or just basking in the sun at the campground. Yes I am sure it is the life...I am sure I am also going to be going through internet, blogging world, and crafting withdrawal. Yes, I even decided to leave my crafting supplies behind. Now that is a true miracle!! Time to have some family time and a true camping experience.

Anywho...today is Thursday and time for another Divine Diva Inspiration challenge.
Lori sent the team this photo:

I was inspired by the strawberries in this photo and thought it the perfect opportunity to ink up my Strawberry Fairy digital image from the Meljens Designs Digital collection at Whimsy. I also tried to use some of the colors in the image as well.
