Isn't this paper gorgeous!!!! You will want to stop my to see the rest of my set using this gorgeous paper!!! This is just a candy wrapper I created. The sentiment, from the Basket of Blessings stamp set is cut out using the Elegant Ovals die from ODBD and layered on the Spellbinders Floral Ovals. The cardstock is soft sky.
Here is a pen made for our ETSY store Chisel Inks n More that we just opened to make money towards my daughter's mission trip. We have a special marked down price for this item from $49.95 to $35. It is for this pen only...not custom orders so if you are interested, you may want to place your order as soon as possible!!
This pen is 24K gold and the red is turned silk acrylic turned by my hubby, Scott!! The pen includes a Parker ink meaning the pen can be refilled.
We will be working on creating more specials on all our Victorian pens for this week!!
Thanks for stopping by!! Have a blessed weekend!!

Well on to a more springy or floral looking card...to take my mind off of winter. It is my sister's birthday this coming week so this is for her. I combined the Shining the Light challenge at ODBD- No coloring with this goal to make her a card. I hope she likes it!
For my card I masked part of my paper so the Vintage Flourish pattern only cut in the corners on the Blushing Rose Collection paper. The bottom half of the paper is using a different sheet of paper from the same collection. The dies used include the ODBD Vintage Flourish Pattern, Vintage Labels (for the layered sentiment) as well as the Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25 die. There is no coloring or cardstock on this creation other than the base. The foliage is created with the ODBD Fancy Foliage with some added mini Prima Roses. The sentiment is from the ODBD Miss You stamp set.
Card Materials:
ODBD Stamps Used: Miss You
ODBD Dies Used: Vintage Flourish Pattern, Vintage Labels, Fancy Foliage, Beautiful Borders
ODBD Paper Used: Blushing Rose Collection
Spellbinders dies: Majestic Labels 25

Today's Scripture:
Faith and Works
James 2:15-17…15If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, 16and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and be filled," and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? 17Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.…
What can you do for others?! Is there a neighbor in need? My daughters and I are thankful to be joining the Liberty Baptist Church (our home church) youth on a mission trip to Detroit Michigan in June to help those in need. While we, too, can help those in need around us here at home, whether it be shoveling their driveway, providing warmth in our homes--- we are looking forward to going out into the world. To help us financially for this trip, we have started an Etsy store to sell some cards and hand turned pens.
Here is just a few samples:
and lastly for this post, 24k Emerald Green Celtic.
We have many more varieties here.
Thanks for stopping by and for your comments!! May God bless you!!

Hello Friends!! I hope this post finds you all well!! It has been so beautiful and so much like spring here. What a tease!! I sure wish it would stay!!
My hubby and I have been working on setting up our store on Etsy- ChiselinknMore. I have used Ebay in the past, but thought I would give Esty a try.
Today I would like to share a gift set I made. The card uses ODBD stamps and dies. The bracelet assistant is made by Scott, my husband. It is 24K gold and has turned Crushed Pink Acrylic for the handle. I made a card to match using the ODBD Shining the Light challenge sketch!! I had fun using the telescoping technique for my focal image. I colored the Daisy image three times with copics and then cut each layer with the ODBD Elegant ovals (first 2 layers) and the Large Spellbinders ovals.
It is hard to see the layers in this photo.
ODBD Stamps Used: Daisy, Mini Tag Sentiments, Life is a gift
ODBD Dies Used: Elegant Ovals
Here is a close up of the bracelet catcher!! The bracelet assistant and card are now on sale in the Etsy store for $17.99 plus shipping, here. The profits made on the sales are going toward a mission trip for my daughters this summer.
Life is Short – Cherish it, and; Be Thankful, Joyful and Prayerful
Sometimes it feels like life is too short. May we never take life for granted, but always be thankful, joyful and prayerful, growing in wisdom every day.
Sometimes it feels like life is too short. May we never take life for granted, but always be thankful, joyful and prayerful, growing in wisdom every day.
Psalm 90:12 Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom.
Psalm 103:2, Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.
Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Hello Friends!! Winter is just beginning and I am already looking forward to spring, warmth and flowers. We have not even had snow yet... LOL!
To get part of my fix, I decided to stamp and color flowers since I can't see them outside or pick them.
I created this card for the color challenge at the ODBD Shining the Light.
Materials
ODBD Stamps: The Lord Has Risen, Miss You
ODBD Dies: Antique Labels and Borders, Vintage Label
Ink: Stazon -brown expresso to match color challenge
I had a good time playing with my copics!! I have had such little time for it lately as I try to diet and exercise, go to PT, home school my girls, and etc.!!
Here are the colors from the challenge:

Hello Friends!! Welcome to the ODBD February Release!! You won't want to miss all the inspiration from the design team using these beautiful stamps or miss the opportunity to win!!
Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD Store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards! You have until February 2, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. EST to leave your comments on the Designers Blogs for a chance to win! The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on February 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!
Here is my first creation using the new stamp set Miss You and the Christmas Paper Collection 2014, Vintage Labels dies, Asters die, and Fancy Foliage die.
I had seen the Fold Over Box Tutorial on Splitcoast after Christmas and wanted to make it as a gift holder for a dear friend!! I had a blast!! I hope she enjoys it!
The Miss You stamp set is stamped in Memento black. I created clouds using a scalloped oval. It is framed with the Marvelous Squares (Spellbinders) and layered on a piece of dp and the Captivating Squares die (Spellbinders). The background panel on the top is created by stamping the Miss you image multiple times on a piece of the Christmas Paper 2014 Collection and then I embellished with the Fancy Foliage die.
Here are samples of the stamps and dies used for my creation from this month's release:
Here are the items previously released from ODBD:

Here is a second angle of the box where you can see the Miss You stamp on the back binding of the box and a different view of the box closed with the Asters. The box itself uses the Christmas Collection 2014 paper.
Here is a close up of the front of the box.
Here is a photo of the inside of the box (open) with the verse from the Miss You stamp set framed with the Vintage Labels die.
Here is a photo of the pen I used as my inspiration turned by my dear husband. I made the box to match it. This what is inside the box. Scott is now selling them. You can see more details here.
Here is my second creation using the Life is a Gift stamp set and the Hello word die!!
The background image is embossed in Pearl embossing powder on a green background and then pierced on the edges. I added some butterflies, rhinestones and pearls and the Hello word die!
I then just added a flying trail for my butterfly and some seam binding.
Here are samples of the stamps and dies used for my creation from this month's release:
