Amongst all the craziness of trying to get ready to leave town BB reminded me it was his half birthday. Instead of packing and cleaning, I was making Oreo cupcakes. He wanted the same cupcakes from his birthday that have an Oreo on the bottom before you put in the batter. We whipped up some Oreo icing to go with the chocolate cupcakes. He gave half of them to his friend, Kiran. Kiran has been on his soccer team for the last 2 years and they finally are in the same class at school. He also happens to go to the same church as us, but he attends a different congregation, so we didn't realize that until almost a year into soccer.
