Beach days! I miss them. I haven't been to the beach since Covid. But here's hoping for a beach day with family and or friends this summer.

Summer Solstice and Sundays

This blog posts on Monday, but I am writing it on Sunday June 20. Not only is it Father's day, but it is the Summer Solstice in the northern hemisphere. It is the longest day of the year. It happens to a true summer day, hot and in the 90's. a perfect  day for a ice cream Sunday or a cone if that's your pleasure.

Digi's always make me nervous, but I am beginning to get the hang of them. I encourage you to check out Bugaboo's digi stamps. they have the cutest and most whimsical images. 

The air is warming up here in southeastern Pa. Thoughts are turning to spring and summer. At Cupcake inspirations we want to see how you are dreaming of summer.

 

 

This little guy reminds me of my husband George. He just loves the ocean and I can just see him putting a pool in the ocean to double float! Kinda like double dipping only it's ok!!

Float my boat

Hi everyone! If it's Monday , it must mean it is time for another challenge at Cupcake Inspiration. Today's theme is NAUTICAL. Sounds like a summery theme to me.

I have always thought I was organized within my clutter, but for some reason , I just could not find a stamp set that I wanted to use for this particular challenge. Has that ever happened to you? i search amd search, but just couldn't find it. I had to use this set by Lawn Fawn- "Float my Boat".  Everything turns out for a reason and I love this card, with it's paper pieced sails.

The waves as you can get a glimpse is a very old wood stamp. Do any of you even use wood anymore? I used a kaleidacolor pad for the waves, another oldie but goodie.

Happy Friday! And boy am I happy!! I start my vacation today and as happy as I am to be off from work, this year's vacation is a bit sad. I normally spend it with my brother and SIL. Covid changed all that and I am having a staycation, where I will be spending the majority of my time in my studio. All is not lost!

Today starts a new challenge at CAS on Friday. the theme this week is:

SUMMER

What is more summery than time at the beach! I love these little beach houses, someting I have never actually seen at the beaches of New Jersey or Delaware.

 Today is the second week for our combo challenge at Cupcake Inspiration with our friends at Double Trouble. This is a super fun challenge. Flowers and bling?!!? Come on stampers, an easy one.

Today's card features the well loved and inked Altenew stamp set, "Best Mom". The background, "thanks" is a VERY old HA stamp set. No longer available. Sorry.

Hey Everyone!! Today I am starting a new adventure. I am a sweetie  at Cupcake Inspirations. I know many of you are thinking- but Sue T. you have always been a sweetie!! But now it s official!!

 Flowers!! I love flowers, who doesn't love flowers and pairing them with pearls or sequins?!!? Well this challenge is a no brainer!! I expect everyone to play along!

 

Today is even more special though. For our challenge today we are joining up with the team at Double Trouble for even more fun

 

The challenge at Double Trouble involves the TicTacToe board. Pair it with the flowers and bling at Cupcake Inspirations and you have double the fun!!

Today's card features all the elements of the challenge at CI but I also used the middle column at DT- summer, flowers and, die cuts.You might be questioning the die cut- my second layer was die cut. I used a favorite Clearly Besotted stamp set.
