Hey there pumpkin

 

I just love making Halloween cards, I think I have mentioned this a time or two before. LOL!!  The colors for the challenge at Inky Paws were perfect for a weener card.

There is still time to play along at Inky Paws for our fallish color challenge. Orange, lime green, black, and cream. We haven't had much action for this challenge and I don't understand. These are great colors. So much can be done with them. 

Today's card features the following product from Newton's Nook. The flying bat stenciled embossed on the back card stock, the jack-o-lantern stencil, a great new layering stencil from NN, and lastly "Newton's Perfect Pumpkin" stamp set.

Today's musical inspiration is called "A summer song" but really it's about the end of summer and fall starting. Perfect for this time of year.

Good day folks. What a sad week. The beloved Queen Elizabeth has died. My mom was such a fan,  you might even say she was her girl crush. Minutes after I heard she died, my brother called me to tell about her passing. We both said that mom was probably at the pearly gates waiting to welcome Elizabeth.

Today we have a new challenge for you at Inky Paws. the colors we would like you to use are orange, lime green, black, and cream. getting into those fall and Halloween cards. Expect a bunch of them from me in the next month or so!

Today's card uses "Beautiful Blossoms", the sentiment is from "Autumn Newton" and the speech bubble die set. All from Newton's Nook.

Looking Sharp

Greetings from the beach!! I am writing this post a head of time since I otherwise occupied with sand and surf!

Today starts a new challenge at Inky Paws! Such fun! Black, pink, green, and grey. Speaking of grey? Or is it gray? I vacillate when spelling this color. How do you spell it? Here is the difference.

Today's card features "Cuppa Cactus" and the retro sun and palm stencil" from Newton's Nook. You have probably noticed that I love that retro sun and palm stencil". I use the "sun" stencil for just that extra something on my cards.

There are no many songs about cactus, so I figured cactus grow in the desert, and picked a song about the desert.

Celebrate!

Another great Monday in the life of my retirement!! Plus it is only 6 days until my birthday!!! Yippee!! I love my birthday!! I always have, but to be fair, I love anyone's birthday. I think birthdays are special. Not to mention it is the perfect reason to stamp!! Birthday cards to make.

I am loving this challenge because it  it is the perfect opportunity to use "Newton's 4th of July stamp set by Newton's Nook. When I first joined the Inky paws team, Jen from Newton's Nook asked the new  members was there any stamp set they wanted to see and I piped up that I wanted to see Newton on a fire cracker. Low and behold a few years later, I got my wish!!

little firecracker

Just a few weeks till the 4th of July! This is always a big holiday for me because I have a birthday on the second! I was born by c-section and I was always bummed that I wasn't born on the 4th! My mom always said I was still her little firecracker!

Friendship stars

 

Welcome to a new challenge at Cupcake Inspirations. This will sadly be the last challenge for me with the C.I. team. Life moves on and things change. But what a great run it has been. The Cupcake Inspirations team have been a great group of gals to work with.  Hopefully I will have time to pay along here and there in the future.

After all the cold sprinter weather we have been having in the last week, I am praying for that perfect day. According to my weather app- today should be sunny and 65. One can only hope.
