Springy card!

Continuing with my experimentation on card styles, I had a go at a Diamond-Fold card (using a tutorial from Crafty Devils Papercraft website).

Supplies:
Images: "Mudpie's Munch" by House Mouse Designs - coloured with Promarkers, the "Thank You" sentiment is from Sentiments 4 You.
Paper: The striped paper is from Papermania Basics pad, and the spotted paper is from Papermania Capsule Collection "Lemon Sorbet".
Embellishments: The buttons, brads & flower are all from Papermania Capsule Collection "Sunshine".

New Arrival!

Here's another baby card (a vet nurse friend is due in August, but I felt like making a card now - not sure if it's a boy or a girl).

The cute rocking horse image is from Pollycrafts and is perfect for a baby card!

I've used spotted paper  from the Papermania Sweet Nothings paperpack, and my nesties (lots of nesties in this card)!! 2 brads, some ribbon and a peel off!

Sweet and flowery elephant!

Here's a card I made using our new Martha Stewart floral border punch. I've used a Pickles & Onion stamp (coloured with Whispers) and a wire word I made myself ages ago and forgot to use last year! I've added some flowers, brads and glitter!

First wordbook card!

Here is my first attempt at a word book using the Funky Hand CD-ROM. This card was made for my Mum (from my Dad):





Other than the Funky Hand prints, I have used some die-cuts from Let's Make Cards, and some heart, flower, pearl & gem embellishments. I have bound the "book" using two eyelets and ribbon. The cupcake image is from the DoCrafts Creativity CD-ROM.

I've used the green "baby" paper from DCWV text prints paper stack, and the green and pink textured card is from DCWV scrapbook kit in a stack. I've used nesties and sizzix bookplates to "punch", with some hearts & gems to finish,

Wings of Hope - 1st card!

Finally got round to taking pics of the 3 cards I made this week.

This is the first one, where I've used the Whimsy "Wings of Hope" digital stamp where the proceeds go to help the relief efforts in Haiti.

This is the first outing for this digi for me (coloured with Whispers), and also the first use of the new Small Deckled Mega Nestabilities that Mum & I bought this week! I've used a rub-on sentiment, and some hearts & flowers to embellish. (Oh, and I couldn't resist the Glamour Dust on the wings and hooves to make it stand out - the second picture is taken at sunset and it just catches the glitter)!
