Happy Birthday to my Sweet Daughter Sienna! I cant believe how much she has grown. The more kids you have the faster they grow, its sad but true! She is a beautiful girl who is very loving. I'm very grateful to have her in my life!

Budgeting

I have had this need to want to budget! I know this is something that I should be doing anyhow. But I REALLY want to get a grasp on what we are spending, where it is going to (besides the basic bills) and figure out how to get a handle on it!
I have gotten as far as getting all the bills we pay, figuring out how much we take home, but the part I'm really lacking is what is really spent on say like TP or chicken things like that, a staple in our lives.
I also want to be able to plan out a entire month of dinners, even go so far as to cook them then freeze them so that I can take them out and have them done quick.
I thought of doing the coupon thing, but I'm not sure just how much of it we eat as a family. That was my only thoughts when I went to one of those coupon deals, it was more of food that we don't eat, then what we do eat.
This is just so overwhelming! Sometimes I think I would like to be back to the whole once a month paycheck. At least you paid all your bills at once and then you have what was left over to buy groceries with and put into savings and such. But then its scary because that's it, you have to wait a whole month until the next check!

So if there is anyone out there that reads my blog, that has some good ideas or things that has worked for them, please send them my way! I can use the help :)

Whats an "A"?

This would have been the question Doug and I would have had when we were in school. But for Summer, she knows all about them! Its mid term here, and she is kickin some butt! She has all A's in all of her classes. A few classes she is even over and A+! We couldn't be more proud of her! Her teachers all adore her, well except her PE coach who still wont change her (NOT) tardy! She claims that she was tardy one day. She wasn't. The teacher says that she can make it up by showering for extra credit. Does anyone else see something wrong with making a kid shower for extra credit?? Shouldn't they be allowed to run an extra lap or something? This day and age I don't feel it appropriate for the kids to shower for extra credit. The poor boys don't even have stalls from what I hear! Yeah, so go shower for extra credit....No thank you! So with that I think I will be emailing the school and seeing about a change in that area.

Anyways, I just had to say how proud I am of my Daughter! Shes an awesome girl! Love you sweetie!!! XOXOXO

Addicted

This kid has hit rock bottom! He went after the mascara in hopes that it would fulfil his chapstick/lip gloss need.

Thank goodness its washable!

For those who are wondering "How could she let this happen?!?" Well, I am working on the master closet...cleaning the thing! Its a huge mess!! The girls bathroom door was open, and he helped himself to Summers mascara. At least that's all it was and he didn't do body art like Sienna when she was his age. She found a permanent marker and a pink highlighter for her fun!

Customer service...

Why is it that people go into customer service that have NO right to be in customer service?? I tell ya what... this guy today, he was SO VERY RUDE! I have never dealt with such rudeness over the phone. Heck the guy from clear across the country that sells slushies treated me better then this guy from the states. Ok.. I didn't mean that in a rude way either, the guy was from Pakistan or something rather, all I think of when I hear their voice is the simpsons guy that sells slushies at kwikie mart. I just couldn't believe that he was so very rude. He wasn't helpful either! When I asked him a question, it was like I asked him to solve the worlds question as to why and how the earth came about. Then he asked me if he could put me on hold for 2 to 3 minuets...I couldn't hear or understand what he had asked, so I asked him to repeat what he had said, he did but it was way worse. I tried to relay what I had heard and *CLICK* he put me on hold, or at least I think he did. I was so MAD that I hung up. He had all the info on me, and never called back, nor did I. I called Lowe's instead and he was NICE!

So long story short, if you cant deal with people and be NICE then go work in a factory or something rather where you don't have to deal with customers!

I finally got a SET! No, not a set of new boobies! silly!

I'm just so happy! Doug was a sweetie and got me a new washer and dryer. We were going to get new ones when we moved into this home, but we didn't because they were leaving theirs here. So after a year and half the washer was running on its last leg... so off we went to Lowe's and got some new duds to wash our dirty duds!! :) They are so cool! The dryer even DRYERS!

Oh so pretty and fun to play with!
Doug's going to built out a stand for them to be on. We didn't want to fork out the money for the pedestals. We figured it would just end up collecting crap anyhow! That and Ethan would find them fun to store his toys in. I'm just glad that the room was being re-done anyhow!

I'm sure most of you are thinking we are crazy. There has been so much stuff we have done to this home to make it "ours". There has also been so much that we HAD to do to fix it as well. But we are getting closer!! I'm just really thankful that Doug is so handy and willing to do the dirty work in this home! Hes just so great! I just Love him!!

Chapstick and lip gloss

Thanks to me and the girls Ethan has a new obsession.... chapstick and lip gloss. Whatever is out is up for grabs. In fact he has gone so far as to go into the girls room when they are at school and "hunts" for the yummy goodness of flavored chapstick! He knows just where to look. This kid will have the most kissable lips if he keeps up with slathering on the soft stuff. Today i was writing in a card and he was in the other room, I thought he was drinking his milk and watching Disney, but when I came out he had the pink glitter lip gloss of Summers. *sigh* he had it all over himself! ~

Ethan and Sadie

These two are so dang cute together!! They love playing with each other to! Whenever Ethan "uses" my cell phone, he calls Sadie.... "Hi Sadie.... Bye Sadie" Its the cutest thing ever. I think Ethan has a crush on Sadie, and I think Sadie feels the same way... *grin*

Beautiful Drive

On Monday we took a drive out to Smith Mesa, or at least that's where we think we ended up. It is a turn off road just outside of Virgin, up a VERY curvy road with shear drop off on one side. Its where they used to do testing for ejection seats way back. Anyhow it was so beautiful out there. There was SO many wild sunflowers growing it was amazing. The temperature was perfect, and in a few spot a bit to chilly. :) We ended up coming out on Kolobs mesa..I think its where you can get to Kolob. It was just amazing.
