Le Cafe Bonjour card

Hi everyone!  I have a fun card to share today.  I finally had a chance to play with the Le Cafe stamp set and I just love it's style and feel!  I don't sponge my edges very often, but I think it goes nicely with the artsy vintage feel of this stamp set.
For my background, I used the Whimsy Wallpaper background stamp.  I stamped it on Pretty Amethyst cardstock with Clear pigment ink and embossed with clear powder.  I love this technique - it gives such a rich look.
I used some of the new Sweet Candy dots as my accents and I loooove the colors in this pack.  There's even white- Woohoo!  I added some of the Sparkle Dust on the die cuts and coffee steam for the finishing touches.

Thanks for stopping by and here's a close up shot of the background embossing detail.
All supplies used Fun Stampers Journey.

Day at the beach

Hi everyone!  Summer is in full swing! I know this because my allergies are OFF THE CHARTS right now.  But I digress, my boys get out of school on June 16th (yes, much later than most of the US) and one of the things on our to do list this summer is visiting the Oregon Coast.  If you're not familiar with the Oregon Coast, it's not your typical day at the beach - lots of wind and cold, but still much fun to be had.  With that spirit in mind, here is today's card.
I used the new Summer Fun stamp set and matching Summer Fun die set.  I colored them with water color pencils and then added Journey Glaze over top.  I didn't use any on this card, but the collection has matching wooden shapes which are adorable.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Party without cake...

Hi everyone!  I have a fun party cake card to share.  This cake uses goodies from Fun Stampers Journey, the Yummy & Delicious collection. I did some paper piecing on the cake image and embellished it with some fun flowers from the Spring Bloom Minis die and enamel dots!
Looks good enough to eat, right?!?  The frame die around the cake is from the die set, Snapshot Frames.  It's a fun versatile die set with accent dies from many holidays.

Just a reminder that FSJ products are only available through a Journey Coach (I am not a coach), please visit Fun Stampers Journey and click on the button "find a coach" at the very top right.

Conversation bubbles card

Hi everyone!!  I have a fun card to share.  This one uses 3 of the 4 Conversation Bubble die sets, which are part of the Die D-Lites line (and only $10).  SO.  Stinkin'.  Cute!  I could make cards with these all day.
The embossed background is from one of my favorites the Lovely Lattice embossing folder.  Spellbinders folders are double sided, so you get 2 designs for the price of one!!
The striped rectangle bubble normally has the pointer on the right side, but I wanted more balance so I flipped it over and you really can't tell at all.  I added a bit of ribbon to a mini paper clip which is something I never do, but think is super cute!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!  Here is a close up picture.
Card Deets:

Ahoy!

Hi everyone!  I have a fun shaker card to share today.  This is also my last day my guesting at Eyelet Outlet and Brads and I used 2 brads can you spot them?
Head on over to their blog to see my final guest post and if you leave a comment over there 1 lucky commenter will win a prize!
Well, if in case you haven't spotted them, the brads are the anchors!  Aren't they adorable?!?  I used my much loved circle dies to create the little frame of my shaker part and the Font One Lowercase die set for the sentiment.  This font die set is really versitile, not too fancy, not too plain.
The adorable light house is from a Reverse Confetti stamp set, colored with Copics and filled with a variety of sequins and white beads.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!  Sorry, no close up picture today, I accidentally deleted it -oops!

The stamps and flower dies are from the Celebra'tions line as are the inks and turquoise string.  The flowers are sold with the coordinating dies as a set!  Pretty cool huh?!?  I used some enamel dots as the flower centers and added some thread tied into a bow as an accent.

Labels with Tapestry cards

Hi everyone!  I'm back from a small vacation and hit the ground running!  I wanted to use a couple of the newer Spellbinders Labels shapes in a fun way.  I die cut the label shape into my cardstock and backed them with one of the new Expandables dies, Tapestry.

Both cards are very similar as I used the same washi tapes and colors for the accents, but the label shapes are different.
This one uses Labels Thirty-two and I added some enamel dots and Prima flowers as accents.
This one uses Labels Thirty-six and I made the flowers from the Rose Creations dies.
