Wednesday's With Claudine - Week 4 Anything Goes

Merry Christmas Eve! and welcome back to another Wednesday with me and the Stampotique Designer's Challenge. This is the 4th week with the "Anything Goes" Challenge. This one ran through the entire month of December.

The passed two week's I have given you a bit of a recap on my year with Stampotique, it has been a lot of fun going through some of my projects over this year.

This week I wanted to make something new so i decided to make a cell phone case. I just got the new iPhone 6 and I needed to make me a shiny new case with my Stampotique characters.

I always buy a clear case and just make my own background.
So without further delay, here is my new case:

I used the Stampotique stamp - Moth Fab by artists Daniel Torrente and Jill Penney

and also Whatever... - Carol's Collection

I just love how my case turned out, nice and bright just like I like it. The great thing about it is, I can change it whenever I want and it's always original.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Next up is one from many moons ago, this one I did prior to becoming a design team member but I just love this page, it's so fun and bright and bold. It's one that I use for my business card

I only used one Stampotique stamp on this journal page but she is my all time favorite and at the time I only had one stamp and Prom Queen it was.

Bring On The Bling - Wednesday's With Claudine

Hello all, This week over at the Design Team Challenge Blog the Challenge is all about "Bringing on the Bling"!!
Our wonderful hostess France Papillon has picked out theme this week.
This was a toughie for me because I don't do a lot of "bling" when I craft but it was fun to step outside my box and create something

I used Stampotique Stamp
Stella - By Artist Jo Capper-Sandon

I decided to make an ATC for this one and here is my outcome

I added bling in the form of ultra fine glitter to the bees and the red line that Stella is sitting on. I think it turned out fun and colorful!

Thanks for coming by and make sure to join in at the Challenge Blog
You could win a 30.00 gift certificate to the Stampotique online store

Spotlight SDC 172

Alright ya'll, have you ever head of the "spotlighting"?
So this is all about highlighting a portion of an image to make it stand out.

So for this week's challenge over at Stampotique's Designer Challenge Blog our so talented and wonderful Arwen is our hostess and she has chosen the theme "Spotlight"

This is a fun and difficult challenge at the same time. I love it! Spotlighting isn't hard but it's tough to decide which portion to highlight.

I decided to make a simple card for this challenge and highlight a portion of my main image stamp.
I added some patterned paper for the background

I used Stampotique Stamps

Young Ignis - By Artist Magda Polakow

Barcode Text - By Artist France Papillon

I chose to highlight the teddy bear because it seems as love Young Ignis is just hugging her bear and loving her.

Come by and join us for this challenge and you could win a 30.00 gift certificate from Stampotique Originals

SDC 168 Use Book Text - Wednesday's With Claudine

Hello all, Wednesday's always mark another fun challenge over at Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog and this week our hostess is Corrie Herriman and she has chosen the theme

"Use Book Text"

I love the theme but I don't have a ton of books that I tear up, I need to go to the thrift store and get some so that I can just rip those pages and use them for backgrounds.

I did find one book to use for this challenge and it was an older book that the kids never liked so I figured it was ok haha!
I used a gelli print that I have had for awhile for my background and I added the torn book print and then painted a little bit over it so that it would blend well with the background

Stampotique Stamps I used are:
Ignis - By Artist Magda Polakow
Barcode Text AND Barcode By Artist France Papillon
Cross Hatch Swirl - By Artist Maryse Carrier

Here is my finished postcard

I stamped Ignis onto the book text and colored her with distress markers, this way the book text shows through
I also doodled a bit all over the edges and added a sentiment that a friend of mine lives by haha!!
Thanks for coming by, I hope you will join us in this challenge

Hello all, welcome to another new challenge over at Stampotique Designer's Challenge Blog.
Our hostess for this challenge is Samantha and she is challenging us to use only one stamp.
This one will be difficult, all the Stampotique stamps are so cool and it's tough to only use one

For this challenge I went small and decided to make an ATC. The perfect size for one stamp.

I used Stampotique Stamp

Whisker Monster with Sign - By artist Kira Nichols

I made my background using Tim Holtz distress paints adding a few stencils and paint marks and a bit of wash tape

This monster is one of my favorites because I can write whatever I want to write inside his sign. I just love him

Thanks for coming by and enjoy your day
Cheers!

SDC 164 - Birds or Animals - Wednesday's With Claudine

Hello all and welcome back to the blog. Today starts a new challenge over at Stampotique's Designers Challenge Blog

Our lovely hostess is the wonderful Sue Davies and she is asking us to make something With Animals or Birds.

I decided that I wanted to make a card for my parents anniversary. Their anniversary isn't until New Years Eve but I figured I'd work on it early.

Birds have always been the theme for their anniversaries and my Dad has this tradition of giving my mom a set of two birds every year. Usually they are little sculptures or ceramic figures but she has one for every year they have been married. I think it's such a sweet tradition.

I just recently got this stamp and as soon as I saw it It reminded me of my parents.

I used Stampotique Stamps

Treemates - by Artist Kylie DiOrio
Kylie has some wonderful bird stamps and I just love them all

Two Hearts..One Love - By Carol's Collection
Carol has some really awesome sayings in her stamp collection

Here is my card

I hope my parents like the card, I think this stamp is just so sweet.
Have a wonderful day everyone

Refresh It - SDC163 Wednesday's with Claudine

Wow, it's already September!! Time is flying this year

It's time for another Challenge over at the Stampotique Designer's Challenge Blog and
this week our hostess is Kaz over at Slightly Wonky Crafts and she has a wonderful challenge for us. She is asking us to "Refresh It" Use one of those older stamps that you haven't used in awhile and give it a new lease on life.

How fun! I have so many stamps that I just love but one of my very first stamps I ever bought from Stampotique was

Prom Queen - By Artist Daniel Torrente and Jill Penney

I also used another stamp that was one of my first buys

Whatever - By Carol's Collection

I decided the make a tag for this challenge

I just love bright colors and I love how vivid the background has come out on this one. I did some sewing around the edges and over the wash tape and "Whatever" word.

Thanks for coming by, I'll see you next week!!

SDC162 - Under The Sea - Wednesday's With Claudine

Hello everyone and thanks again for stopping by the blog. This weeks Challenge over at the Stampotique Designer's Challenge Blog is "Under The Sea" chosen by our wonderful Arwen McCullen

For my project today I chose to use a background that I had previously made in one of my art journals. I was actually experimenting to see if this mesh type material would stay if I adhered it with gel medium, it ended up staying pretty well and I thought it kind of looked like fish netting.

I also had previously used a stencil to add some lettering along the bottom and used Dyan Reaveley sprays for my background.

I decided for this under the sea page, I wanted to use Stampotique Stamps -

Something Fishy - By Amy Wilson-Wellenstein

Smushallaum - By Daniel Torrente

Smushasha - By Daniel Torrente

Seaweed - By Jo Capper-Sandon

Breakfast - By Daniel Torrente

Here is my finished page

The page turned out just how I imaged, it looks like the mermaids have caught the creature in the netting, I also cut the hand so that it was reaching through the netting, as if he was trying to escape.

I hope you have enjoyed my creation today, make sure to try out a "under the sea" creation of your own and link up to
Stampotique Designer's Challenge in order to be eligible to win.

Flowers and a Bookmark - Wednesday with Claudine

Happy Wednesday to ya, thanks again for coming by and spending this time with me once again

I hope your having a great week.. Today marks another new challenge over at Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog and this week our wonderful hostess is Kristin and she has chosen the challenge "Flowers"

Even though it's the end of August we still have a few flowers here in Colorado. It's sad though because soon it will become colder and our flowers will go dormant for another winter.

I decided to make a bookmark for this project and I wanted it to have the flower by artist

Janet Klein called - Sunflower Left

I had originally created something else for this project and didn't like it so I cut this flower out of my original project so I could still use it. No waste! haha!

I also used one of my favorite stamps by artist
Linda Peterson called Hazel Jester
All of the Hazel stamps are so cute but this one is my favorite, Hazel Jester definitely has that cuteness factor

I created an "arm" and "hand" for my Hazel so it would look like she was standing there holding this flower, although I'm not so great at drawing I though it turned out ok. LOL

Thanks for coming by and have a great day.

Phillip - By Artist Magda Polokow
Girl With Heart Purse - By Artists Jill Penney and Daniel Torrente

Bows - Wednesday's with Claudine

Hello all and thanks for coming by this wonderful Wednesday afternoon.
Wednesday marks another new challenge over at Stampotique's Designer's Challenge Blog

Jackie Payne is our wonderful hostess this week and she has challenges us to use "Bows" on our project.
Bows are super cute and they always look awesome in any project, whether it's a dimensional bow or something as simple as a stamped bow

Here is my project for this week's challenge

For this project I used Stampotique Stamp
Moth Fab - By Artists Jill Penney and Daniel Torrente

I used a stencil in the background and Dyan Reaveley sprays to make that spider web. I also used the sprays to color the ribbon for the bow the same color.

Hope you enjoy my postcard today.
Have a wonderful week
