Stampotique Designer's challenge "New technique"

SDC 116 Nellie
This week's theme for the Stampotique designer's challenge  is to try a new technique. This is one of the first backgrounds I made with alcoholink on yupo paper after following a workshop. It's a lot of fun (and very addictive) to play with these materials. The outcome of this technique is quit  unpredictable, but that is what makes it fun too. These are the Stampotique stamps I used: Rain text and Floral flutter. Please join us in this challenge and show what new techniques you are mastering.

A special event ..

April paginas
april detail
On april the 30th Willem-Alexander was crowned king of the Netherlands. Although I am not really into royalty I thought it would be fun to make my april calender pages reflect to this special event and in the colours of our country. But with a twist of course ... Willem-Alexander and Maxima in Stampotique style.

These are the stamps I used for my pages: CrownCrown quoteBannerToby and Minky girl

I just love the interpretation of Alice in Wonderland designed by Janet Klein in the new Stampotique febuary 2012 release! For this card I stamped and colored the mushrooms en de catepillar with distressink. I colored Alice with my Tombow markers. The words are a few lines of the wonderful World all her own stamp.
