Doesn't she just look like she's contemplating something as she handles her spider like a yoyo?!
I just love
spider girl. After creating a background with acrylic paint, dylusions spray ink and a stencil I stamped spider girl directly onto the paper. I then stamped her again onto tracing paper (as her face looked too pale on cartridge paper) before cutting her out around her body and face and gluing her onto the previously stamped image. Stamping it first means you don't lose the detail such as her hair and the spider.
Another scrap of tissue paper, stamped with
Journey Collage, under her feet, and the words 'just thinking' added using Jill Penney and Daniel Torrente's
Alphabitties completes my mini journal page...but I'm adding
Hopscotch to my wishlist as I think that would have worked well as part of the background :)
