We have another challenge over at

Alphabet challenge - last one till the new year

Theme: Silent night

I used Ranger inks and created the night sky. For the falling snow I used bleed proof white and splattered the sky. I then used Stampin up houses and die cut them out. I tried so many options an didn't like any so settled for this.. still not that happy with it. I used Simon Says die for the snow mounds. I used Ranger in to give a little color and stickles for some glitter. I stamped the sentiment and don't know who it's from. It's a silent night - everyone is in bed

I made a z fold card. I like the fun you can have doing this style. I used Stampin up products and some stickles.  It's quite an easy fast card to create.

Theme: Spooky Halloween

I kinda kept this card simple. I stamped the Hook line and inker image and using gray copics added a little shading. I used Spellbinder die and cut the circle and the Newtons nook sentiment. I die cut the spider web and spiders out of scraps using Taylored Expressions dies. I added them to the card. and the image. I went over the web and spider and the background with Stickles.

I used a scrap of Pink Fresh studio for the background paper and a scrap from Quick Quote for floor. I stamped the Mama Elephant images and colored with copics. I used glossy accents on the ornaments and stars. The sentiment is from Simon says and I used Stampin Up die and went around the edge with a copic pen to give it a frame look.

I am using the image called Christmas angel.. I colored her with copics. I went over her wings and holly deco on her coat with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added stickles to the candle flame.. I backed her with some scraps. The sentiment is from DRS I love the vertical reading. I used a Tech. Tues. banner die. I finished with a few left over diamond painting drills.

I am using the image Cupcake Birthday girl. I colored her with copics and created the wall behind her with copics. I used Simon Says thin die to cut her out and colored the frame with copics and added her to the A2 size card. I stamped the Reverse confetti sentiment and used Stampin up punch. I went around the edges with Quick quote chalk ink. I added some Stickles to the candle flame  I went over some of the image with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added some Stampin up punched hearts that I had from a water color piece I didn't care for.. saved it by punching a bunch of hearts.

I am using the image called Boy and candles.. I colored the image with copics. I went over the dots on a couple of the candles with Nuvo drops. I added stickles to the flames. I added the Simon Says sentiment.  I at first cut the image out with Lil inker stitch die but I wanted to use this fun Amy Tangerine dp with the numbers all over it because of this being a birthday card. So I cut the image down but left the stitching at the top.. I like this dudes blue tipped hair..

Hello.. It's time for a new challenge over at

Alphabet Challenge Blog

Our letter for these two weeks is 

"P" for PARTY

So I really don't ever make a 5X7 card.. but I needed to for this image. It's just too big. I didn't want to cut the little twirling lady off cause then what is the guy looking at.. So here is my 5X7 card. I used some Teresa Collins designer paper and some black card stock.. I stamped the Art Impression image and colored with some copics. I went around the edges with Quick Quote chalk ink.  I went over the buttons with Nuvo drops. I added a tiny bit of stickles to the flames and some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush on different parts of the scene. I added the Art Impression sentiment and added a little twine bow to the corner.  Looks like a fun party to me.. Let's see your party card over at Alphabet challenge. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

This is another wood block red rubber stamp.. I think it's by Co-Motion.. There is ink on the side and it cant be read.

I stamped it image and colored with copics. I used gold stickles for the flame and dots and some Jo-Ann designer paper for the background.

We don't have a sponsor but I am using a Di digi called cute cupcake tower..  I colored the image with copics and went over parts with a Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.  I found some scraps of paper I added the background. I used Lil inker stitch die. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant and using Stampin up ink.

It's time for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers blog hop..

 

Here is another card for this hop. I was digging through my stamps and saw this set (cat, chair, coffee cup) from Waffle flowers and knew I needed to create my card. I colored the images with copics and die cut out. I then saw this designer deer paper so thought would be a cool background. Found a piece of red for the carpet. I then used the Taylored Expressions fireplace die and scraps and cut them out. For the brick background I used MFT stencil and Ranger ink and created the inside piece. I love the cat resting and drinking coffee in front of the fire.. Oh the flames have Stickles on them. The sentiment is from Tech. Tues.. That is my thought... Coffee now. conquer the universe later..

I am using the image Reindeer Ellie with Ornament.. I colored her with copics and used Lil inker stitch die. I found some scraps of paper so created the back ground. I used My favorite things banner die and using PTI sentiment and Stampin up ink I stamped the sentiment. I added a ribbon and tied a knot at each end. I used PTI holly and SU ink to create the holly. I added some red Stickles for the berries. I went over  the bows, and ornament with Wink of Stella.

I am guest designer over at The Paper Girls for challenge #157

 

In June I had a card that was a winner on their blog.. I got the chance to be a guest designer in August so I said yes.. I'd love to

 

 

The theme is PAINT IT

Well knowing it was a painting theme at The Paper girls.. I knew what I wanted to do..

Back in June I won some digi images from Beccy's Place and I chose Dinosaurs.. I keep seeing sweet dinosaur stamp images but I really don't have any little ones to justify purchasing a set so when I had a choice of images I saw some awesome cute dinosaurs so chose them.  I started this card by stamping the image and using copics I colored him in and then fussy cut him out.  I took a piece of water color paper and laid the image down and then roughly drew in a scene. Then using my Mission Gold water colors I painted my scene. I thought there needed to be a volcano so I created one and using Stickles for the lava glow. I added some colored pencil details to the rocks and some to the image. I used foam dots and added the dinosaur to the card. I added the sentiment. It's done and I love it..

Welcome to Mid month reminder at Always Happy Birthday #7

Our theme is BIRTHDAY ANYTHING GOES / OPT: CAKE

 

 
I used a really really old Co-motion wood rubber stamp.. I stamped the cake on a piece of pink card stock. I used copics to color areas. Funny adding copics to the pink it comes out different colors than the actual copic..  I then fussy cut it out. I ran the blue card stock through a number embossing folder. I added the cake. I stamped the Happy birthday on a piece of Quick Quote scraps and fussy cut the balloon out. I added some twine. For the flames I added stickles and the flowers and rows of pearls I added liquid pearls.

The Merry Christmas challenge #25

The theme is ALWAYS ANYTHING GOES + CHRISTMAS

starting July 15th we will be going to a monthly challenge. The 15th of each month. It's still ATG  Christmas

 

I was going through my rack of dies and saw this fire place die from Taylored Expressions.. I had to use it.. So I used some Quick Quote scraps and die cut the pieces out.. I used some Ranger ink to distress the edges. I loved this piece when it was put together.. Then I looked at more scraps an used the dotted dp for the flooring. I used this Simon Says dp I got a long time ago and used it for the wall paper look. (I used this earlier paper June 6th)..  I then stamped the Paper Trey ink sentiment and added the wreath from Little B. I stamped the Mama Elephant images and colored with Zig water color brushes and added them to the card. I used a little stickles on the fire.  I hope I have inspired you to make a Christmas card and join in the challenge.
