Music

This weeks Crazy4challenges blog challenge is to incorporate music into your card.

Great excuse to pull out my Guitars2play set from The Stamps of Life.

Here is the card I came up with for today's challenge.

.

The music notes are die cut with a super old original small green Sizzix die.
I still have a few of them around that I use.

Other than that, all the supplies can be found at The Stamps of Life.

Be sure and stop by the Crazy4challenges blog to check out the design teams inspiration!

Music Thank You's

Wednesday came so fast this week and the week is nearly over!

The Stampendous design team are sharing projects that we created with the new 8" x 8" DECOR stamps from Stampendous.

For today's project I used Music.

A full 8” X 8”, this cling rubber stamp background is perfect for creating home decor pieces, cards, scrapbook pages and more. The pattern is easily repeated across a large area. This quality cling-mount rubber stamp set is made from deeply etched, precision trimmed premium grey rubber. With 1/8 inch thick grey foam for a smooth impression on uneven or textured surfaces, it is backed with a full sized index of the image

It's the perfect beginning for making multiple cards.
I cut this 8" x 8" panel into 6 pieces.

Then I created this fun card set.

The sentiment on these cards is Just a Note.

C4C: Rockin' Birthday

Today is my final post as the April guest designer for the Crazy4challenges blog.

Today's inspiration is music!

Great excuse to drag out this fun stamp set from The Stamps of Life.

The stamp set is called Guitars2play.

I used the Sizzix Square Stand Up card die for the card base.

This is how it looks when it is closed up ready to mail.

I colored the guitars with Prisma colored pencils.
The paper is Happy Birthday paper pad.

Not sure who is getting this but I know they will love it!

You Rock!

I have had this patterned paper in my stash forever!

I am not even sure why I bought it  but I must have had an idea in my head at the time....this might explain some of my paper hoarding problem?

Anyway, I was very excited to get the new Rocking Out Stamp from High Hopes Stamps because I knew it would go great with this paper that has a drum set on it!

I colored the image with my Prisma Colored pencils and blended with gamsol and blending stumps.

Oh...and the paper....It's Crate paper.

I used the Sizzix Large Square stand up card die for the card base so you can open it and have it stamd up to display.

The inside sentiment is Rock on.

Music is Life

Today I am sharing another card that I made with one of Fran's new metal stencil designs, Musical Metal Stencil from Stampendous!

This was a pretty simple card to make.
I stenciled the music notes onto white cardstock with black embossing paste and let it dry.
The sentiment is from the Music Wood Stamp Set.

I am a sucker for anything music related because I am a band mom at heart!
It's a beautiful stencil that I know I will get lots of use out of.
