C4C469: Ground Hog Day

I am so excited to be joining the ladies at on the Crazy4Challenges blog for the month of February.

I am so glad that they invited me back to play!

Today is Ground Hog Day so the challenge is to use a Ground Hog image for your card.
Or...if like me you don't have a Ground Hog stamp, you can use any other round critter on your card!

A mouse is a ground critter...right?
I hope so because that's what I used!

I used Teachermouse2stamp set from The Stamps of Life for today's card.

Here is the inside of the card.

I colored the mouse with prisma pencils and blended with gamsol and blending stumps.
I used the coordinating dies and the mini bow die too!

Make sure you check out what the rest of the team at the Crazy4Challenges blog team created for today's challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!

From the Gang!

Hello Friends!

Did you see the newest Sizzix stamp and die set from The Stamps of Life?
Mini Pudgies is sooo cute!

Here is one of the samples I made with this set.

I used the Playful Stand Up Card Die for the card base but you could use almost any of the stand ups since you'll cover up the shape with those adorable pudgies.

Here how the card looks when it's standing up.

This is so perfect for all those office birthdays!
Here is a closer look at the pudgies...aren't the adorable?!?!

That's it for today.
I hope you you enjoyed this inspiration!

Goliath Christmas Mouse

Happy Friday High Hopes Fans!

Just 9 more days left till Christmas and if you still have some last minute cards to make this is a quick cute one that you can make with any Sizzix Flip it Die.

I used one of High Hopes older images, Goliath Christmas Mouse.
I colored the image with Prisma Colored Pencils (warm grey, cardinal red, yellow, black)

The patterned paper is from The Paper Studio.
I tied green grossgrain ribbon (Celebrate it) around the card and then glued bells on.

The inside sentiment is Magic of Christmas.

I hope you are enjoying the holiday season and aren't too stressed out with all the "stuff"!

Take some time to stamp and have fun...you'll be glad you did!

Flippin' for my Teacher

Hello All!

Today I have a super fun card for your favorite teacher!

My favorite teacher is my daughter who teaches 4th grade in Oregon.
It's a very tough profession and I am very proud of her for giving it her all!

So this card was inspired by her.

This adorable image is Writing Mouse from High Hopes Stamps.

I used the Sizzix Rectangle Flip It card die for the card base.

I colored the image with my Tombow USA recycled colored pencils.
I used the "out of the box" technique to cut around the top of the pencil so that it stuck out of the image box.

The sentiment that I used for this card is a High Hopes image but I can't find it in the store right now.
When I do I promise that I will come back to update this post.
In the meanwhile, I think you could use any of these sentiments....Thank you so much,  A is for Apple,  or To teach is to touch.

The polka dot paper is Recollections paper from Michael's.
The school themed paper is The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby.
The twine is May Arts and the little apple is a brad from Eyeletoutlet.com
