Snow Ice Cream
This is something I made a few times with my mom as a young child on a "snow day"! Just thought I'd share! It's a great thing to make with little kids!
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
6-8 cups of clean fresh snow
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
6-8 cups of clean fresh snow
Whisk the whipping cream, vanilla, and sugar together til the sugar is dissolved.
Let the kids go measure the snow. These cups of snow don't need to be exact or packed! Let them scoop away!
The snow won't melt as fast if you use a metal mixing bowl for the snow! Slowly pour the sugar mixture over the snow and gently mix it together. You may need to add more snow. Top with toppings if you wish! Hurry and enjoy before it turns to soup!
**You can substitute milk for the whipping cream if you wish. It's not the same. I wouldn't even bother with skim or 1%!

Peanut Butter Play dough
Here's an edible play dough!
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup light corn syrup
1 1/4 cups dry milk
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
Put all ingredients in a gallon size zip bag and knead til the dough is formed. It can be passed around to each of the kids several times. Play and eat!
