hello i don't think i'll have time to blog until the weekend comes.but now i also don't have anything to blog. -.-
so i shall include my daily routine.. in point form.
- the kids had rehearsal for their performance in the hall today.
- it's actually quite exciting to see them perform. LOL.
- lingmei and i thinks that we're turning paedo...
- ate dinner [it's a must blog cos something dumb happened] at the same hawker *super budget* and i ordered my food to a customer. like omg so paiseh! anyway i ate the very nice bedok curry chicken mee :D
- jap lesson: counters is still the worst. i'd better finish learning how to count soon, even when it comes to millionssssss. if not i'm just going to flunk the exam in april which i don't want to!
i'm supposed to go off and watch bbf on my ipod. [i am not patient enough to watch on my computer now cos it's effing lag]
but i just feel like stoning now.. sigh.
oh and i don't know if it's bbf or bof lah. there're like so many titles for the show!
i should continue my hyd season 2 soon too.
and of course my long list of to-watch-dramas list.

ahhh i think my com is getting screwed.it's getting laggier and laggier.. ):

saturday.
nus concert.
hymn to the infinite sky suddenly brought back sws 2007 comworks memories. my first sws concert and first proper band concert, and the most intensive with mr willy tan around i guess.. and the ahem-orgasmic ending we experienced :D
most awesome experience then..
i learnt and improved alot during that period of time.
next, vesuvius.
so it's memories of mjcsb? and err, the screwed-up performance in japan! \:
when it was freaking cold [maybe cos the hall door behind us was open i heard?] and we can't hear ourselves and the band cos the hall was so echo-ey..
even then, meiden sounded imba lah. still so neat and nice etc.
so it's our fault right? hahahahaha.
well, all in all the concert was okay.
the repertoire included some of my ex-favourite songs. hahaha.
like chorale and shaker [sec 2 or 3] and fantasy variations [sec 4].
of course i love hymn to the infinite sky. (:
satoshi yagisawa's songs are nice, although they sound mostly of the same style..
we all took 151 home from nus..
it didn't take as long as expected again. see, singapore isn't really that big. X:

had swsy in the morning. overslept again...
okay but usually i still manage to reach before they actually start. HAHA.
sightread a piece called hurricane. it sounded like a hurricane. ahaha.
worked pretty long on 4th symphony 2nd movement.
vibes part. chords. 4-mallets.
there was only one part of the song that i could really play.
sorry i'm a noob. ):
sometimes i really feel very inferior at reading notes.
but i'm trying to work on that now, taking it as a challenge in honing my percussion skills.
timpani too.. to make myself less tone deaf with better tuning?

but at least i can see that i'm reading notes slightly faster than before.

it was already flooded with people by the time it opened officially which was 12pm and we reached at 11.30am.
ate at pepper lunch while waiting to collect my charger.
we sat there and had karma-raising level session as usual. oops.
ohh we saw quan yi feng and desmond koh eating, livia spotted quan yi feng cos of her flaming red hair. HAHA.
then we saw pierre png that day filming in some shop after that.
we went walking around finding accessories for our ipods. but failed.
walked here there everywhere..
settled down at esplanade concourse to increase karma, the chair was very comfortable :D
then we walked to marina square.
succumbed to the temptation of famous amos brownie. sigh..
sat around for awhile more before heading home.

stayed home.
spammed my ipod touch with applications.. until my itunes hung countless times.

played singapura medley, invictus and rhapsody for hanukkah.
and hanukkah got stuck in my head all the way at boon lay...
we ate lunch at jurong point, thai express!

so yesterday.
i managed to wake up and went for alumni band.
HAHAHA i was earlier than siying! maybe ___ will marry her. oops.
it was like a wind band (manyyy clarinetists + 2 saxes + 1 bassoon) + 1 percussionist.
now i'm so used to playing in a one-person section.. that i don't feel lonely.

no one's going, think gp didn't go either cos he didn't reply me.
so yeah. replenished sleep. [not like i don't have enough actually]
i slept for 10 hours, waking up at 3pm.

went down to my grandma house to celebrate birthdays. lol.
then wii-ed with cousins. had some rounds of bowling.

although the thought of getting the 16gb one is making the hole in my pocket bigger, i think i need it. songs & videos etc...

anyway, yesterday did the usual stuff.

oh, we had a nice meal of dinner at this thai restaurant with very reasonable prices and nice food! my fried glass noodles! :D
japanese can get illogical sometimes too.

OHH i almost forgot.
i went shopping yesterday with my mummy too!
after the medical checkup in the morning whereby i guess i embarrassed the male doctor by making him repeat his (sensitive) lines so many times cos i was too deafff.
it was quite fruitful. at least i bought things.
3 or 4 cheapo homewear clothes cos my shirts are quite hole-y, 2 shorts, 1 jeans :D
so today was cedar.
ito sensei came later in the evening! :D
he's so cute lahhhhh.. and funny.
whoo i think he sounds so good on the trumpet, especially his random/ending vibratos.
oh and i found out random little interesting facts today too. loll.
like how fast a junior high student can tongue....
and it snowed in nagoya yesterday!! o.O
i think vibratos on trumpets are nice heheh.
plus i think i have a fetish for japan trumpeter sounds. HAHAHAHA wth.
but they.. hit high notes like free, vibrato like free, tongue like free.

shall update from sunday..sunday
was late for band again. overslept again.
hmm not too bad, i played like almost everything. HAHA.
most by mr rasull's request...
some warm up: can i have timpani for this?
ibu: can i have drumset for this?
fourth symphony: naturally it's mallets cos it was tacet for snare for movement 1 and i was as usually lazy to set up all 4 timpani and there was a solo i haven't figured out at the ending so ya... went for the easiest mallet part oops.
toccata marziale: snare. [i snare whenever i can when i'm alone HAHA]
well not too bad, good training to be an all-rounder. i need it badly.
maybe i should challenge myself more.. cos i do escape, in fact, many times.
**alert: it'd be good if new percussionists are interested to join! next concert's june.
ate lunch at tampines mall pizza hut after that.
together with wanyuan [2nd random meal]. hongyu/alicia came after that. lol.
choy val and i were supposed to go home while the rest went to shop.
but we passed by a last day sale and succumbed to temptation.
we ended up looking for shoes.
AND I FINALLY BOUGHT MINE.

watched galileo suspect x with christine, val and huiquan [my long-lost/long-time-no-see pri school friend! :D] at ps, 6.30pm show.
i shall go watch the drama soon... *long list of to-watch dramas*
according to val and christine, the drama's nicer than the movie. [sounds like hyd too]
the ending wasn't very nice. too draggy and whatever lah.
i guess it was supposed to be sad but most of us ended up laughing. \:
hmm maybe benjamin buttons on friday! :D
we'll see how ah.. HAHA.
i have like 4 things that i wanna do later. [it's going to be 1am]
well, maybe try multi-tasking again? HAHA.
need to wake up early tmr for medical checkup, sianszsx X 100 times.
ha i was supposed to go today after swimming but it rained (morning leh, i thought you come in the evening one!) and swimming was cancelled and so the weather made me want to nua at home.

symphonic band festival 2009.i delivered my bow to livia at 6.45 [concert's at 7] - the only reason for me to be early. [okay actually no she told me to reach at 6.30 oops, but my mummy and bro won the fight to use the toilet]
ehhh so their bow is really different from ours. HAHA.
hung around outside for awhile while waiting for siying to come..
then talked to the usual people.. ha we only know the usual few!

a group of boys behind us were damn noisy. is that called childish or what? -.-
i think they were sitting beside mr ong. hahaaa.

so, siying and i went to eat at lao pa sar after that and went home.
freaking cold today, both in sch and outside - raining!
the both of us forgot to bring jacket...
and with my damn-small japan umbrella (HAHA :D) it was quite useless for 2 person.
but 1 thing i like about the japan umbrella is it dries damn fast. like in 2 minutes?!
no need to bring plastic bag to put wet umbrella next time already :D
aiyo i'm so lor sor.
shall go read book/watch dvd :P
