ahhh i think my com is getting screwed.
it's getting laggier and laggier.. ):
so i can't load the few photos into the com cos my com can't seem to detect the usb thingy. [ya that includes the fake genting prelude photo hahaha]
saturday.nus concert.
hymn to the infinite sky suddenly brought back sws 2007 comworks memories. my first sws concert and first proper band concert, and the most intensive with mr willy tan around i guess.. and the ahem-orgasmic ending we experienced :D
most awesome experience then..
i learnt and improved alot during that period of time.
next, vesuvius.
so it's memories of mjcsb? and err, the screwed-up performance in japan! \:
when it was freaking cold [maybe cos the hall door behind us was open i heard?] and we can't hear ourselves and the band cos the hall was so echo-ey..
even then, meiden sounded imba lah. still so neat and nice etc.
so it's our fault right? hahahahaha.
well, all in all the concert was okay.
the repertoire included some of my ex-favourite songs. hahaha.
like chorale and shaker [sec 2 or 3] and fantasy variations [sec 4].
of course i love hymn to the infinite sky. (:
satoshi yagisawa's songs are nice, although they sound mostly of the same style..
we all took 151 home from nus..
it didn't take as long as expected again. see, singapore isn't really that big. X:
sunday.
had swsy in the morning. overslept again...
okay but usually i still manage to reach before they actually start. HAHA.
sightread a piece called hurricane. it sounded like a hurricane. ahaha.
worked pretty long on 4th symphony 2nd movement.
vibes part. chords. 4-mallets.
there was only one part of the song that i could really play.
sorry i'm a noob. ):
sometimes i really feel very inferior at reading notes.
but i'm trying to work on that now, taking it as a challenge in honing my percussion skills.
timpani too.. to make myself less tone deaf with better tuning?
mallets mallets mallets, when can i overcome you? [maybe i need one at home HA]
but at least i can see that i'm reading notes slightly faster than before.
hope my weekly random trainings help in time to come..
if i don't improve more soon i think i'm going to fall into depression....
cos i already got emo typing this. o.O
anyway moving on.
to bandworld after that.. to collect our pay.
we stayed there for hours until it closed. lol.
went to yinyue's house after that!
i reached at 8pm.
we did random gossiping and watched a few super funny youtube videos. then taught her some japanese for her to use during her trip! :D
eh although i'm still a noob.. but i suck more at grammar than vocab.
oh we ate/drank this soup her father made when i just arrived, it was quite nice although there were alot of veggies but i still ate them all! hahaha.
we cooked curry maggie mee and then i went home.
reached home at 12am.
monday.
'interview' in the morning.
standing in for a week for lingmei. haha.
well i don't mind working part-time after i start school.. will have to see time table then.
oh i think i already gave up on the 4/5-day event job. cos that means i gotta sacrifice my weekend + 2 weekdays and i wanna do quite alot of things then.
plus they'll be getting back to you today and tmr. so i'm not putting much hopes on it.
primary school in the afternoon.
preparing for their first performance next week.
sometimes it's a test of your character too.. hmm..
but seems like the kids are not that naughty today. (:
jap lesson at night.
one word: stresssss!
so stress that we even went to find out what's stress in japanese on christine's palm, not literal palm, during the lesson.
sutoresu ストレス or atsuryoku あつりょく/圧力 (kanji not chinese LOL).
counters is really crazy.. o.O
you have to count big, fat, thin, small, etc things in different forms.
yeah so that's all for the weekend.
am quite excited for tmr.. i wonder how the job would turn out?
given my confidence level, i'm worried for my basic english like had has have and whatever sai.
but it'd be another good experience again. (:
oyasumi.

omg i overslept! christine's call woke me up which was ponyo ringtone. HAHAHA. eh i even set 3 alarms from my phone but none could wake me up lah, shit.
the place was like 3 stops away from my house..
the interview ended fast.
walked to kovan to eat. *save $$$ on transport!! i think i used $10 in 2 days o.O*
orchard-ed. pamela came down and they settled their psp stuff. haha.
then bugis.
we had 4 hours to rot before jap lesson.
we sat at mos burger.. eating, talking, stoning, playing brain game on cow's psp..
the brain game is fun leh! hahaha i was always stressed when playing it cos there's this stress test and i got 80++++ degrees and never below 65 or something.
oh yeah we went to the intercontinental hotel toilet. HAHA.
cow and i went to orchard's mariott hotel's toilet too..

intercontinental hotel toilet.

national library toilet.
the first jap lesson was not bad!! pretty fun!!
the teacher looks nice and she's authentic japanese hahahahah.
and when i talked to her, the japanese english accent naturally came to me, just like how we talked to meiden then..
woohoo i can just add passing the grammer, listening and oral exam in nov to my new year resolution. HAHA, so that we can go intermediate class next year!
we're planning airport studying sessions for japanese. so on right! :D
yay studyyyyy japanese! more motivating than studying geog/econs/maths....
anyway we found out that most of the adults in our class take jap cos of their work. *lobang lobang anyone?!*
yeah sounds cool to work in a japanese company! and the number of them working in one made me feel like there're alot in singapore. -.-
i want to work in one! :D
can add to my goal in life. hahaahha.
looking forward to wednesday! (:
and hope there's the banner job available then!
life's almost good now.
it'd be near perfect if the company we went for interview today accepts us!!!
my good life awaits.
in the meantime, will continue emailing
junk mails to companies.
uh yes, and i have to register my courses.
i shall remember that or not i can go and
die. -.-
and to all the o level people..
congrats if you'd done well!
