nus concert.
hymn to the infinite sky suddenly brought back sws 2007 comworks memories. my first sws concert and first proper band concert, and the most intensive with mr willy tan around i guess.. and the ahem-orgasmic ending we experienced :D
most awesome experience then..
i learnt and improved alot during that period of time.
next, vesuvius.
so it's memories of mjcsb? and err, the screwed-up performance in japan! \:
when it was freaking cold [maybe cos the hall door behind us was open i heard?] and we can't hear ourselves and the band cos the hall was so echo-ey..
even then, meiden sounded imba lah. still so neat and nice etc.
so it's our fault right? hahahahaha.
well, all in all the concert was okay.
the repertoire included some of my ex-favourite songs. hahaha.
like chorale and shaker [sec 2 or 3] and fantasy variations [sec 4].
of course i love hymn to the infinite sky. (:
satoshi yagisawa's songs are nice, although they sound mostly of the same style..
we all took 151 home from nus..
it didn't take as long as expected again. see, singapore isn't really that big. X:
sunday.
had swsy in the morning. overslept again...
okay but usually i still manage to reach before they actually start. HAHA.
sightread a piece called hurricane. it sounded like a hurricane. ahaha.
worked pretty long on 4th symphony 2nd movement.
vibes part. chords. 4-mallets.
there was only one part of the song that i could really play.
sorry i'm a noob. ):
sometimes i really feel very inferior at reading notes.
but i'm trying to work on that now, taking it as a challenge in honing my percussion skills.
timpani too.. to make myself less tone deaf with better tuning?
mallets mallets mallets, when can i overcome you? [maybe i need one at home HA]
but at least i can see that i'm reading notes slightly faster than before.
hope my weekly random trainings help in time to come..
if i don't improve more soon i think i'm going to fall into depression....

we stayed there for hours until it closed. lol.
went to yinyue's house after that!
i reached at 8pm.
we did random gossiping and watched a few super funny youtube videos. then taught her some japanese for her to use during her trip! :D
eh although i'm still a noob.. but i suck more at grammar than vocab.
oh we ate/drank this soup her father made when i just arrived, it was quite nice although there were alot of veggies but i still ate them all! hahaha.
we cooked curry maggie mee and then i went home.
reached home at 12am.

well i don't mind working part-time after i start school.. will have to see time table then.
oh i think i already gave up on the 4/5-day event job. cos that means i gotta sacrifice my weekend + 2 weekdays and i wanna do quite alot of things then.
plus they'll be getting back to you today and tmr. so i'm not putting much hopes on it.

so stress that we even went to find out what's stress in japanese on christine's palm, not literal palm, during the lesson.

you have to count big, fat, thin, small, etc things in different forms.
yeah so that's all for the weekend.
am quite excited for tmr.. i wonder how the job would turn out?
given my confidence level, i'm worried for my basic english like had has have and whatever sai.
but it'd be another good experience again. (:

i used to like pe! the feel just died in jc.. i liked reading periods cos you can sleep/copy homework :D
hcl lessons were singing lessons then. bio was for sleeping.

i only remember reading/recess ends at 11.05am. lol minus 30 minutes so should be 10.05 or 10.35?

i only remember being chased out of the class countless times. especially for amaths, i remember once for f&n though. \:

class i can only remember the mdm lum library incident. poor thing. other than that i skipped school and skipped remedials. OOPS.

mrs woo! teachers from my upper sec days were pretty cool and nice.. like hanwoman, mrs chiaw [funny], mdm lum [grumpy LOL], ms angelina tan, ms begam etc etc.

funniest: mrs chiaw with her ahleelu and oughta be shot lines, mdm lum with her "why marker no ink?!" and funny trademark lines.
weirdest: no idea..
loudest: mrs loy and mrs chiaw and hanwoman can compete for this. i can always hear them at the opposite side of the classroom blk.
Social Circle

uh dunno, don't think so.

medium size group of girls. ha!

many many many!
- self-entertain/zi high during lessons.
- after school = band pracs OR hanging out at ps with clique.
- cedarband; syf'05, nbc'06 - first and last gold with csb.
- pre-o level mugging in library days, it was supposedly for art [academic reinforcement time] people but many 4h people came by to mug together.
- f&n cooking days.. & coursework!
- hanging out at the f&n lab after school.
- all the people in school.
- cheering like siao at jogging sessions/ national track & field or school occasions.
- joining cheerleading after one phonecall. HAHA.
- post-exam activities.

drumsticks & scores, actually only if you brought them home to practise. cos i realised i didn't had my own drumsticks then. -.-

we have alot of bonding sessions [like gossiping] too! X:

uh yes, when you carry instruments. i still have the scar on my leg from the stand which scratched my leg in like sec 3 or 4.

i wish i could video/write every single one down so that one day when i turn senile, i can still watch/read it and never be able to forget them.

hello AGAIN.and by the way, 4h gathering was somehow cancelled..
didnt even go back cedar.. boring cny eve.
so i stayed home and watched 2 movies, and helped out a bit in tidying the house.
i washed the fan. the last time i washed it was like years ago.
and some other stuff..
