The Easter bunny came.

We had a beautiful Easter Sunday. 

It was 85 degrees here in Gainesville.. maybe a little too hot. 

We spent the morning at Church 

and all afternoon with friends from Dave's school. 

We got to watch little kiddies hunt for Easter eggs. 

and I even convinced the 'Easter bunny' to get us some new clothes. 

We ate delicious food.

And skyped with both families and friends. 

Isn't he a cutie pie? 

I wish we could have our own personal photographer. 

That would make memory recording so much easier. 

He is always so serious in photos... it kills me. 

Three fabulous gentleman. 

Oh and I made Easter cake balls. . .

How do you celebrate Easter? 

Dave thinks we shouldn't pretend there is an easter bunny for our kids, ridiculous I know. 

Babies smell so good.

If you really new me, you would know that it is no secret that I love babies. 

Dave would say that I really just love to cuddle anything that is miniature. 

(puppies or babies fit in this category) 

Yes that is true, but really I just love babies. 

They smell so good, they are so cuddly and they are so heavenly. 

Okay, I will admit it. 

I am hungry for a baby!

Now that my confession is over...

Meet our new little friend Faye. 

Our friends finally had their baby!

WAHOOOO!

Dave has never held a baby this little before and he was pretty nervous. 

But he did such a good job...

we have to reel him in nice and slow :)

Congratulations Brandon and Rachel!

We visited them in the hospital just 10 hours after the baby came

and Rachel was totally out of bed and walking around. 

She is AMAZING!

She totally rocked child birth!

And sweet baby Faye is absolutely perfect in every way. 

President's Day is for Utahns?

Last year for President's Day weekend we went down south

for some warm weather and climbing. 

We spent a couple night's in the local bouldering area called Moe's valley. 

It is just right outside St. George. 

We had a fabulous time with some of our favorite people.

And we really enjoyed REAL rock. 

This year, Dave has school on President's day.

How lame is that? 

I think it is a Florida thing or something. 

We did go climbing this weekend but it was in a gym on fake 'rock'. 

So this weekend definitely had me missing my Utah...

 Yes. I let him grow his hair that long and I have no idea why. 

Yes. My mom thought it looked good on him and he should keep it that way. 

Yes. All these pictures are from our trip down south last year.

Bear Lake with the Gringeris

Can you believe it is 90+ degrees out there? 

I officially declare it to be SUMMER! 

wooohoooo!

This past weekend we headed up to the condo in BearLake

my favorite place in the world. 

It was mid 80's and sunshine the whole time. 

We loved it. 

We stopped in Echo Canyon, to climb of course, 

on our way...

 Ben & Elisabeth joined us for the weekend :)

He is kind of good. 

Saturday we spent the day at the lake. 

 We rented a kayak! 

I want to buy one when we move to Florida, they are so fun!

 Don't be fooled, the water was freezing!

 We went out for delicious pizza

 And we couldn't leave without taking home a thing of fudge and 

chocolate covered raspberries.

 Yes. We got shakes at the famous La Beau's.

Raspberry Heath is my fave.

it gets way worse around his armpits and neck. 

Basically I am not letting him sunscreen himself anymore...
