Boulder, Utah.

We tried to enjoy the great outdoors of Utah as much as we could this Summer.
We still didn't get enough.

This picture is taken in Boulder, Utah near Capitol Reef.
Stunning.

Kermit... the frog!

Have I ever told you how being married to my husband is like being married to a Manly little boy?
That sounded strange...
He is truly a kid at heart and I love that about him.
He is always giggling and always on the go.
He loves catching creatures.
Every time we would go climbing,
he would want to catch a lizard or snake.
Now, in Florida, it is frogs.
They are every where here and he loves catching them.
The other night he caught one and he really wanted to keep him.

What the heck, right?
Dave made him a home out of an old juice container.
He immediately went outside and got dirt, sand, braches, leaves to make him a good environment.
He even has a little mini water dish inside and Dave got him live crickets at the reptile store here.
Side note: have you ever been to a reptile store? You must go, they are SO COOL!

We named him Kermit.
And he is just a little tree frog.
He is actually pretty cute.
Dave feeds him first thing in the morning
and gets him out of his cage to jump around first thing when he gets home from school.
They are already best buds.
He is going to be a good father one day.
No I am not comparing parenthood to taking care of frogs.
Yes I know it is WAY harder than that.
haha.

After having Kermit for just three days,
I highly recommend a frog as a pet for little kids.
He is totally harmless.
Easy to maintain.
And he is super fun to hold and watch jump around.

Plus, he is pretty cute huh?

 Ribbit. Ribbit.

Beauty of the Earth.

It is no secret that I love nature.
flowers. mountains. fall leaves. fresh grass. sandy beach. ocean waves.
You name it, I love it.
There really is nothing more beautiful than Earth.
I truly believe it was divinely created.
I love that every where in the world is unique.
I think about all the places I have been in my life.
I am not a world traveler by any means but I have seen some beautiful things.

Today I want to tell you how much I love Spring.
Living in Florida during the Winter is a treat.
But I am not going to have the fabulous Spring that I am used to.
These beautiful photos below are courtesy of the lovely Tulip festival at Thanksgiving point.
I try to make a stop by every year because it is stunning...

The beauty of the earth is so inspiring.
I promise sun is coming your way :)

the beginning of a new season

Happy Fall to everyone who gets to enjoy it!

As for me, I will be enjoying the lovely high 80 degree temps
with a very high humidity percentage
as I watch the game.

Go Gators!!

Go jump in the fall leaves for me, please?
And sip some apple cider too.

Five Fall Favorites

Sorry for being MIA yesterday.
My blog was accidently marked as spam
and took forever to be restored.
Did that happen to anyone else ??
it was lameo.

Anyways.
Can you tell by the wreath I made
that I am really missing Fall weather?

In order to make me pretend it is Fall
I thought I would list my top 5 things
I am excited for this Fall.

1. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread.
I love so many recipes in the Fall
but this is definitely my all time favorite.
Link to this delicious recipe here

2. The Fall Leaves Changing Colors
Granted this won't happen in Florida
a girl can pretend, right?
photo taken up Rock Canyon in Provo.

3. Pumpkin Carving
Dave is totally the master at this one.
I love cooking the pumpkin seeds!

4. Fall Clothes
Basically wearing cardigans and boots again.
But now I am excited to wear pants too!

5. Cuddling
This is going to sound funny
but Dave hates cuddling when he is hot.
So basically he hates it all Summer.
I can't wait for him to like it again :)
