Frozen

When I saw the topic for this month's Happy Little Stampers CAS challenge, I immediately thought of the film FROZEN
I don't know if any stamps are available, but I thought that OLAF should be fairly easy to draw, (even though I'm no great artist) so I looked at some of the images of him online and drew this little chap. I shaded him with  Copics and gently twinkled most of him with Glamour Dust and used Wink of Stella on the rest of him. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant.
I think my grandkids would quite like this card!

Watercolour Tilley

My son has a birthday approaching and I never know what to get him. This time he gave me a hint. For many years he has had a Tilley hat, to which he is enormously attached. Although it looks a though it is on its last legs he wants to keep it. (It could be exchanged for a new one as they have a lifetime guarantee, but he's just too sentimental about his old one to lose it.) SO his present this time is a spanking new one... just the same model as the old one, but more presentable! So for his card I decided to do an image of his hat. I drew this one and watercoloured it ... I think it looks reasonably like the real thing!
The theme at Addicted to CAS is Heat so this image is definitely for that!
The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted

I drew it myself

Some of you may have seen on WOYWW last week that I had been 'doodling'. Well this is one of the things that emerged.
I had looked at lots of images available on the web and thought that I would have a go myself. However, I don't find it easy and a load of paper has found its way into the bin. The recycling men will have a field day at our house.
The card is my DT contribution for this week's challenge at My Time to Craft and the title this time is 'Too cute'. She is kinda cute isn't she... but then I would think so, as I based her on my granddaughter Daisy.
The papers and sentiment are from Cuddly Buddly and she is coloured with Copics.
Do send your cuties over to the MTCC blog. We'd love to see them.

Card for a child!

I had made a couple of spinner cards for a friend's daughter and she asked if I could make another for her to give to her niece. She wanted the name Rachel and a guinea pig to do the 'spinning'.
Well I looked everywhere for am image of a guinea pig which would be a suitable shape for spinning. No luck!
So I decided to draw one myself!
Do you reckon it looks like a guinea pig?
Since I took the picture, I've moved the little daisy from the top left next to the large one at the top right, which I think is an improvement. I had to be carful where I positioned them so as not to impede the movement of the spinner.
The name was die cut from Cuttlebug's 'You're not the boss of me' alphabet. The clouds were just doodled.
It's for a couple of challenges.
