iHerb | January Haul '15 (Vegan!)

¡Feliz viernes, chicas!
Hoy os traigo mis últimas compras en iHerb (Diciembre/Enero). Como sabéis, cambiaron los gastos de envío (podéis leer toda la info aquí), pero aun así, el envío de este pedido me salió por pocos céntimos más de los habituales (4'45$ en vez de 4$), por lo que, mientras me compense, seguiré comprando en la web.
Todos los productos que enseño en este haul, además de ser cruelty-free (como siempre), son veganos. ¡Espero que os gusten!

Today I bring you my latest purchases at iHerb (December/January). As you know, they changed the international shipping rates (you can read all the info here), but still the shipping of this order was just a few cents more than the usual ($4'45 instead of $4), so I will continue buying on the website, as long as the shipping costs are ok for the products I want.
All products I will show you in this haul, besides being cruelty-free (as always), are vegan. Hope you like them!

Lo primero que hice fue reponer mi hidratante preferida, que tantas veces habréis visto en el blog: Clarifying Therapy Moisturizer de Aubrey Organics. Es una hidratante vegana 100% natural con ácido salicílico, que ayuda a mantener lo granitos controlados.  Vienen 50ml, y tiene un precio de 14'41$.

The fist thing I did was repurchasing my most favorite moisturizer, that you have already seen in this blog: the Clarifying Therapy Moisturizer by Aubrey Organics. It is a 100% natural and vegan moisturizer with salicylic acid, which helps to keep my acne controlled. It has 50ml and is priced at $14'41.

Lo siguiente fue la base mineral de Everyday Minerals de acabado mate, en el tono Fair 0N. Desde hace unos meses, no encuentro mi base mineral preferida en casa (la de Lily Lolo), así que decidí coger esta para probar. Contiene 4'8gr. de producto, y tiene un precio de 14$.
Por si os interesa, la de Lily Lolo viene con más del doble de producto, y tiene un precio de 16'49€ en Ecco Verde, así que, en mi opinión, compensa mucho más (y me gusta mucho más también).

Next thing was the the mineral foundation by Everyday Minerals with a matte finish, in the lightest shade: Fair 0N. I lost my favorite mineral foundation at home a couple of months ago (the Lily Lolo one), so I decided to buy this to try. It contains 4'8gr. of product, and is priced at $14.
If you are interested, the Lily Lolo one comes with more than twice the product, and is priced at €16'49 at Ecco Verde, so in my opinion, it's a better deal (and I like that one quite a lot).

El jabón African Black Soap de Nubian Heritage es uno de mis favoritísimos, y, para mi, es el mejor jabón "contra el acné" que he probado (y han sido muchos).
Sólo cuesta 3'47$, y contiene 141 gr. de producto.

The African Black Soap by Nubian Heritage is one my favorites from iHerb, and is the best "anti-blemish" soap that I've tried (and I have tried a lot of them). 
It only costs $3.47 and contains 141 gr. of product. 

También compré vitamina B12, ya que, como la mayoría sabréis, sigo una dieta 100% vegetariana ("vegana"). La vitamina B12 no es de origen animal, es de origen bacteriano, y se puede obtener de heces y tierra, pero como yo no las como (ni creo que la mayoría por aquí...), me suplemento con dos de estas tabletas por semana. Las personas que consumen productos de origen animal suelen obtener B12 de forma indirecta, puesto que los piensos de esos animales van enriquecidos con B12, además de otros alimentos fortificados que encontramos en el mercado. Aun así, tanto personas que siguen una dieta omnívora, como personas que siguen una dieta vegetariana estricta, pueden tener deficiencia de esta vitamina, y ello puede desencadenar en anemia perniciosa.
El precio de las mismas es de 7'77$, y tomando dos por semana, duran casi un año completo (50 semanas), por lo que suplementarme "por si acaso" no me cuesta nada. Cuando la falta de B12 se evidencia, puede haber ya problemas irreversibles...

I also bought vitamin B12, because as most of you know, I follow a 100% vegetarian diet (vegan). Vitamin B12 is not of animal origin, it comes from a bacteria, and can be obtained from feces and soil, but as I do not eat neither of them (do you...?), so I take this supplement two times a week. People who consume animal products usually get B12 indirectly, since the feed of these animals are fortified with B12, in addition to other fortified foods found in the market. Still, people following an omnivorous diet, as people who follow a strict vegetarian diet may be deficient in this vitamin, and this can lead to pernicious anemia.

The price of these is $7.77, and taking two a week, they will last almost a full year (50 weeks), so taking this lozenges "just in case" is really cheap. When the lack of B12 is evident, there may already be irreversible problems...

Aproveché también para añadir dos nuevos bálsamos de HURRAW! a mi colección: Coffee Bean y Chai Spice. El olor de Coffee Bean no acaba de emocionarme, no huele mal en absoluto, pero no "me enamora", aunque hidrata genial. Chai Spice huele a té Chai que da gusto, y me tiene enamorada. Se me hace un olor muy reconfortante para el invierno. Ambos bálsamos son veganos, con "ingredientes crudos" y orgánicos. Los recomiendo al 200%, y creo que a partir de ahora, cada vez que haga un pedido a iHerb, acabará cayendo uno de los bálsamos de la marca...

Also took the opportunity to add two new HURRAW! balms to my collection: Coffee Bean and Chai Spice. The smell of the Coffee Bean one isn't specially appealing to me, but I love it, because it really hydrates my lips. Chai Spice smells like chai tea, and I really LOVE this one! It seems very comforting to me as a winter scent. Both balms are vegan, with raw and premium organic ingredients. I recommend them 200%, and I think from now on, whenever I place an order with iHerb, I will add another HURRAW! balm to my collection...

Por último, repetí con la marca Mrs Dash, esta vez con el sazonador de "chipotle sureño", que tiene un puntillo picante y algo ácido. Viene con 71gr. de producto (el típico bote de especias), y tiene un precio de 3'67$.

Finally, I repeated with another seasoning by the brand Mrs Dash, this time with the "southern chipotle" seasoning bleand which has a spicy and sour taste. It comes with 71gr. of product (average spice pot), and is priced at $3.67.

Ecco-Verde (Mini Haul)

¡Os traigo un mini-haul! No sé si os gusta ver mis "hauls", así que no los subo muy a menudo, pero si os gustan, decídmelo, y procuraré hacer más.
Hoy vengo con las cosillas que pedí a la web de cosmética natural Ecco-Verde. Mi madre y yo queríamos probar una mascarilla exfoliante que vendían, así que aproveché y me traje para casa un par de cosillas más. La web me encantó, puesto que ninguno de los productos que venden ha sido testado en animales. Eso me da la tranquilidad de saber que puedo "enamorarme" de cualquier producto sin tener que investigar luego si testa o no. Las cosillas con las que piqué fueron las siguientes:

Today I come with the stuff I ordered from  Ecco-Verde's natural makeup and body care website. My mother and I wanted to try an exfoliating mask that they sold, so I jumped and I brought home a couple of things more. I loved the web, since none of the products they sell has been tested in animals. Knowing that gives me peace of mind because I can "fall in love" of any product without having to investigate then whether or not has been tested. The things of my mini-haul are this:

Lo primero que compré fue un kit facial de la marca "Cose della Natura" (13,49€). El set incluye unas esponjas faciales, un cepillo de madera para el rostro, un cepillo de uñas, un espejo de madera, y su cestita.

Lo que más me gustó del set fueron el cepillo de uñas y el espejito. Yo tengo la piel muy muy sensible y las esponjas me resultan un poco duras para el rostro, aunque las utilizo para exfoliar la espalda. No sé si les daré demasiado uso, pero la verdad es que de adorno en el baño quedan genial.

The first thing I bought was a facial kit from the brand "Cose della Natura" (13'49€). The set includes three facial sponges, a wooden brush for the face, a nail brush, a wooden mirror, and a basket.
What I most liked from the set were the nail brush and the mirror. I have a very sensitive skin and I find the sponges a little hard for my face, but I use them to exfoliate my back. I don't know if I will give them too much use, but the truth is that as an ornament in the bathroom they look great.

El exfoliante que nos hizo aventurarnos con ésta web, fue el "Anti Aging Peeling-Mask für Face & Body" de Domus Olea (28'99€).
Se puede usar como exfoliante y como mascarilla antiedad, y limpia la piel profundamente y la enriquece con antioxidantes. Es ideal para pieles maduras (como la de mi madre) y para pieles grasas/impuras (como la mía) por su combinación de aceites esenciales antibacterianos y purificantes).
Contiene gránulos de albaricoque para activar la microcirculación cutánea y preparar la piel. Contiene extracto de hoja de olivo, aceite virgen extra de oliva, de karité, miel, y aceites esenciales de eucalipto y romero. También puede ser usada para otras partes del cuerpo que necesiten ser suavizadas y nutridas (pies, rodillas, codos, cuello...). En mi caso sólo la uso en el rostro, pero mi madre la usa en el rostro y en el cuello/pecho.
Me gusta la sensación de limpieza que deja en el rostro, pero advierto que huele bastante a aceite.

The scrub that make us to adventure in this website, was the "Anti-Aging Peeling Mask für Face & Body" Domus Olea (28'99€).
It is an exfoliating cleanser and anti-age mask in a single product, specifically developed to deeply cleanse the skin and to enrich it with antioxidants. It's ideal for mature skin in need of nourishment (as my mother's) and for the treatment of greasy, impure and atonic skin (like mine) thanks to the combination of antibacterial and purifying essential oils. 
The massage with Apricot granules activates the cutaneous microcirculation and prepares the skin for the application of emulsions.  It contains Olive Leaf Extract, Apricot granules, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Shea, Honey, and Essential oils of Eucalyptus and Rosemary. It can be also used for other body parts that need to be smoothened and nourished (feet, knees, elbows, neckline). I just use it on my face, but my mothers uses this on her face and her neck/chest.
I like the clean feeling it leaves on the face, but it smells like olive oil.

Aproveché para probar la marca Everyday Minerals, a la que le tenía muchísimas ganas. Compré un colorete versión mini en el tono "All Smiles" (6'49€), y una brochita pequeñita de corte plano (7'99€). El colorete funciona genial en cuanto a duración y pigmentación, y la brochita es ultra-suave. ¡Os los recomiendo!

I took the opportunity to test the brand Everyday Minerals, which I really wanted to try. I bought a mini size of the "All Smiles" blush (6'49 €), and a mini flat top brush (7'99€). The blush works great in terms of duration and pigmentation, and the brush is ultra-soft. I recommend them!

El servicio de la web me pareció excelente. Estuvieron muy atentos a mis dudas, y el envío tardó cuatro días. Podéis consultar los precios de sus gastos de envío en la web, y a partir de 59'95€, el envío es gratis.

¿Volveré a comprar en la web? Sin duda. Me parece muy cómodo poder encontrar en una sola web un gran número de productos de distintas marcas de las que tengo la certeza de que ninguno ha sido testadas en animales.

The web service was excellent. They were very attentive to my concerns, and the shipping took four days to arrive. You can check their shipping prices on their website, and from 59'95 €, shipping is free.

Would I buy again? Definitely. It seems very easy to find in a single web a large number of products from different brands that I have the certainty that none have been tested on animals.
