Pretty Pink Posh New Product Release Blog Hop

Hello Folks,

Welcome to Pretty Pink Posh's new product release blog hop

You should have come from Joni Andaya's Blog. Don't worry I will share the list of all the participants of the blog hop towards the end of the post.

Paulina has release three awesome new dies this month.

I LOVE basic dies which are versatile. Pretty Pink Posh's dies are those with awesome stitch details as well. The Stitched Banner die caught my eye the most. This is because I want to decorate my craft room. At the moment it is very functional. But I like it to look pretty as well. I want to do it with DIY decors. One of the decors is to hang banners from my shelves. I made my own banner using the Stitched Banner die set. Here it is.

Create banner

I die cut the six stitched banners and the smaller square panels using black striped pattern paper. The pattern paper is a retired paper form Stampin' Up! I then used one of the dies from Stitched Borders 2 set to die cut the gold glitter paper. I adhered the gold diecut to the top of the stitched banners and the edges were trimmed off. I used Papertrey Ink alpha dies to die cut "CREATE" alphas using gold glitter paper. I adhered these alphas on the square panel which was then adhered to the banners using foam adhesives. I ran natural twine on the back of the banners and secured the twine with some tape. Then added some tiny pegs to fake hold the banners to the twine.

There are two more banners to make. I like them in odd numbers. So watch out this blog for two more banner posts :)

Sparkle and Shine Challenge!

Hello folks,

Today I have a card share for the very first Sparkle and Shine Challenge. I am playing along as Pretty Pink Posh design team. Pretty Pink Posh is the sponsor for this challenge. Pretty Pink Posh is perfect considering what the challenge is called :)

Here is the first challenge

And this is my take on the challenge.

Happy St Partick's Day

I did not have a clover stamp set or die. So I decided to improvise and use heart punch to make my clovers. On my card I stamped the large flourishes from Papertrey Ink with green ink. Then spattered some green colour shine all over the panel and left it to dry. Then I sponged some Crushed Olive distress ink on a scrap piece of cardstock then punched out some hearts. Then sponged some Mowed Lawn distress ink on the heart and left them to dry.

I then trimmed the dried stamped panel, added a strip of green glitter on one side. Then I glued the punched hearts in threes to form clovers and added Sparkly Clear 6mm sequins from Pretty Pink Posh at the centre. I also glued 4mm Mossy green sequins randomly all over the panel. The panel is mounted on the card front. I felt the card needed some dew drops. An easy way to add dew drops is glossy accent. That is what I have done. Sentiment is from Hero Arts.

You love sequins? then this challenge blog is perfect place to share you sparkly projects and shine :)

Christmas Card Series - Set #9

Hello friends,

Welcome to the Christmas Card  Series. This is Set #9 in the series. This card set is inspired by this tag card I made for tag You're It Challenge #12

Merry Christmas #4

I loved this card for its simplicity but I wanted to add a bit more umph! Come on, it is festive season and I am making Christmas cards, right? So I added some sequins and spatter and jazzed up the rest of the cards in the set. Here is how I made them

Slide1

I die cut the Poinsettias and coloured them using copic markers. Colour the diecut while they are still in place. Makes it a whole lot easier. I also used Wink of Stella clear shimmer on them to add some subtle shimmer.

Slide 2

I die cut 9 of them, coloured and stacked glued them together with rhinestone in the middle. These poinsettias as really beautiful and adorable as they are small. So I need three for one card.

Slide3

Then I die cut two tags using MFT tag die namics set. I layered the smaller tag over the bigger tag using foam adhesives.

Slide5

The sentiment is also die cut. For the first card I used Merry Christmas diecut from Merry & Bright by Essentials By Ellen. But I wanted a diecuts slightly wider. So I used the dies from Papertrey Ink instead for the rest of my cards. I have diecut using gold foil cardstock.

slide6

I have prepared the card base using white card stock. The panel is Grout Grey cardstock from My Favorite Things. I have trimmed using my new American Craft paper trimmer which has the tiny scallop blade. I then sprayed the panels with Tsukineko's Sparkle shimmer and spattered with gold colour shine from Heidi Swapp. Now thats what I am talking about jazzing up the cards.

Slide7

The tags are now layered with the sentiment and flowers. They are then glued to the card front at the centre using adhesive tape.

Here are the three finished cards.

Merry Christmas #31

For this card I added some green 6mm and 4mm sequins from Classic Christmas Collection from Pretty Pink Posh.

Merry Christmas #2

For the next card, I added some red baker's twine and gold 6mm and 4mm sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Merry Christmas #1

For the last card, I  added some red 6mm and 4mm sequins from Classic Christmas Collection from Pretty Pink Posh.

Here are all four cards.

Christmas Card Series: Set #5

Hey everyone,

Welcome to my Christmas Card Series. This is set five. Here is the first, second, third and fourth.

I am particularly thrilled to share this set with you because I love how they turned out.
I have a few holiday sentiment dies. I wanted to use as them as background and as focal point. So I tried something different. Here are the two cards I made first and then changed the technique a bit and made another two. I will show them towards the end of the post. Make yourself a cut of coffee and browse because I have a lot of photos in this post.

Holiday cards 2

I have a photo tutorial on how I made this card below.

Season's Greetings

Sit back relax and enjoy!

And I made this second card using the same technique but in blue. and silver. Love how this turned out.

Merry Christmas

Then I thought why not do a reverse process. Instead of have the ombre colour on the diecut, have it on the background on the card front and glue the white die cut on top.  For this card below, I have used the dies from Winnie and Walter and Papertrey Ink

Merry Christmas 1

A similar card in blue and sliver using Winnie & Walter sentiment dies.

Happy Holidays

All my cards are embellished with Sparkly Clear 6mm and 4mm sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
Here are both the cards together.

Holiday card 1

Hope you like it. I certainly had fun planning and making these cards.
Thanks for visiting. Have a great weekend.

Trendy Christmas card sets

Hello! I am making a LOT of Christmas cards. Many of you are aware of it. I am thinking about doing weekly Christmas card share on my blog until end of November or even the first two weekends of December. So today is the start of it. I plan doing posting on the weekends either Saturday or Sunday. I will have a set of cards and a slideshow tutorial on how I made it. I also intend to use some newer and some older Christmas stamp sets from different stamp companies. Hope you are enthusiastic as I am sharing this weekly post.

Today I am starting with a trendy Christmas card set using the metallics -  gold and silver.
I wanted to make a set of cards for my husband to give his colleagues at his hospital. I do not want it too traditional but something trendy and contemporary. So I chose a new stamp set from Papertrey Ink called Wet Paint Holiday and an older stamp set again from Papertrey Ink called Holiday Cheer to make this set of cards below.

Silver Season's Greetings

This is the slideshow of how I made these cards.

These cards are very easy to mass produce once you have everything prepared. It does not need very much preparation either. I made them watching television. This is what I visioned to share with you. Something simple, easy to mass produce and looks trendy :)

I will leave you with some pictures of the gold version of the cards.

Hello, I have a new challenge from Tag You're It Challenge Blog for you today.

I love the sketch of this card. So my card below is made using the sketch. I am into making Christmas cards at the moment. The more the better for me. I use each and every opportunity to make a Christmas card. lol! Here is one more.

Christmas greetings

The background paper is from Papertrey Ink. The tag is from Pretty Pink Posh's Stitched Tag die set recently released. The snow globe is made using Set the Scene stamp set from Clearly Besotted. And the sentiment is from Little Pudding also from Clearly Besotted.

Christmas greetings flat

Non traditional Christmas cards are perfect to give children. I really need a few for my son and daughter's friends. This is the first in the collection. Just 20 more to go.
I added some white glitter stickles to the snow globe to make snow. This closeup picture shows them
