The Craft's Meow Blog Hop!

Welcome to The Craft's Meow Blog Hop!
If you have some from Deborah Nolan's blog, then you are on the right track in the hop.

the craft's meow.

The theme for this month is Anything goes with a technique.

I have used Fancy Flourishes and Typically Teen stamp sets to make my card. I simply sponged distressed ink on the background and stamped the Fancy Flourishes in black on top of the sponged multi colour background. I also used the white gel pen to add some dots. Then I have accented with rhinestones.  The sentiment is from Typically Teen stamp set. The card looks very bollywood to me ;) :) Love the vibrant colours on the background. Here is the close up of the card.

Your next stop is to Jennie Harper's blog. Check out her gorgeous project.

Edited: I am also submitting this card to CASE Study Challenge #156.

Happy Hopping!

The Craft's Meow Blog Hop!

Good Morning everybody!

Today is The Craft's Meow Blog Hop Day.

the craft's meow.

And the theme for the blog hop is Masculine.
You can find all the Masculine stamp sets from The Craft's Meow shop - HERE!

If you have come from Deborah Nolan's Blog, then you are on the right track on this hop.

I chose the newest stamp set called Lets Face It to make my masculine card.
Here is my card.

I love Lets Face It set from The Craft's Meow. It is a great building set in general. I love that there is variety of spectacles, hats, goatee and ties to choose and make your own image of a man. If you haven't seen this stamp set, here is an image of the stamp set for you.

Let's Face It

Then there is the image of the girl with head scarf, different spectacles to choose, the speech bubbles and finally the sentiments which have the clean and simple font. This is a must have set in my opinion.

On my card, I have scattered the images of ties, hats, bow and spectacles from the top of the card dropping down. And added the sentiment on a strip of cardstock. I have stamped and cut out a few of the images and popped them out using foam adhesives. You can see them in this close up photo.

I have chosen a light grey as my card base instead of white and used brown and blue colours for the images and sentiment. I love how the colours give sophistication and at the same time clean and simple. Hope you like it too.

Your next stop is to the talented Jennie Harper's Blog.

Now there is a prize for one lucky person who has commented. And that winner will be picked from any of DT blogs including the TCM Blog.  So make sure you leave your comment on all the blogs. The lucky winner will receive a stamp set of her choice. The deadline to leave you comment is before 11.59 EST June 9th. The winner will be announced on the TCM Blog on the 10th of June.

I have used a gorgeous pattern paper on the background with the Chalkboard Birthday sentiment stamped on pattern paper and highlighted. Accented with enamel dots and twine. The focus is on the beautiful birthday sentiment.

Beautiful Spring       Typically Teen

I have used tow techniques on my card. First is masking and stamping the flowers. Second is water colouring using Stampin' Up! watercolour pencils. I have fussy cut the top of the flowers and trimmed the sides using the trimmer. I have then stamped the sentiment and framed it by scoring.
Hope you like it.

The Craft's Meow Blog Hop

Hello everybody,

I hope you are having a relaxed Sunday. Most of my Sunday is already over as I am 12 hours already ahead of you in Australia. Anyway, welcome to The Craft's Meow Blog Hop. If you have come from Deborah Nolan's blog, then you are on the right track.

Photobucket

The theme for today's blog hop is Friendship. You can find some beautiful Friendship themed stamp sets from The Craft's Meow HERE.

I have couple of clean and simple cards using three stamp sets to show you today.
Here is my first card.

For this card, I have used Vintage Rides Stamp Set. I love the vintage images and the bold sentiments in this set.

Vintage Rides

You can create a scene with this set, colour, paper piece the images....... So many techniques can be used.  One of my favourite sets from The Craft's Meow.

Here is the second card.

I love this second card. Another clean and simple card. But love the concept of it. The stitches stamped at an angle and in different colours. And the sentiment that coordinates with the stamped stitches. Simple yet precise. Accent with some sequins which is the red hot trend instead of the rhinestones:)

I have used two stamp set for this card, Beautiful Shelf and Crafty Shelf.

Beautiful Shelf  Crafty Shelf

These two sets combine very well and images are perfect to make cards for your craft friends.

Hope you like both my cards. Your next stop is to Jennie Harper's blog. Make sure you leave comments on all the blogs and also at The Craft's Meow Blog. Check out The Craft's Meow Blog for more details.
