Sea Life Card

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a nice day!  It is hot and sunny here but, there are some clouds building and I'm sure we will have a thunderstorm. We have been having a LOT of thunderstorms with wind, heavy rain, thunder and lots of lightening. In fact about a week and a half ago lightening hit one of the trees in the back yard and a huge limb broke off taking several smaller limbs with it. It has been very crazy weather here.
I am trying to get back to some crafting on days I have energy.     I actually rode my recumbent bike for 33 minutes this morning. I usually ride it for 80 minutes but I will have to build back up to that. I have my second chemotherapy treatment on the 17th.
Here is a card I made using a beautiful paper pad from Michael's Hot Buy paper pads. I have so many of them and need to use some up. I also used a few dies a purchased from Aliexpress.
I just love the paper. It is foiled and really shines. The die cuts are just beautiful!
I popped the large seahorse up a little bit.
It really shines and is so beautiful in person.
Well I hope you enjoyed seeing my card!  Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Beach Wedding Album- Heavy Photos!

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are having a good day!  I just finished  the wedding album for my niece Michelle and her new husband Mike.  They got married almost two weeks ago in Cocoa Beach, Florida on the beach. The same beach that I used to go to all the time! My sister said it was a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding!                                                                                                      I had to take the photos outside because I was not getting enough light inside. I put a little white lacy spread under the album.
Here is the front cover. I love the beautiful embossed paper that looks like sea shells! I heat embossed the sentiment and used a beautiful die set I have to cut out the medallion. I used glitter gold washi tape along the edges.
When you open the album there is a pocket with a pull out page for photos. Then there is a page for a large photo with shimmer gold ribbon and bow.
On the pocket page, I embossed Mr & Mrs. on a piece of cardstock layered with gold and accent pearls. I used a punch to scallop the strip it is layered on.
Here a waterfall that opens from the side, it has a magnetic closure and I die cut and embossed the little sea shell. The pages were edge cut with Spellbinders dies. When you open the waterfall there is a page in a pocket you can pull out. The card stock is sparkly!
Here is a beautiful page, I used another beautiful Spellbinders die and a gold rub on transfer.
Isn't the gold shiny and beautiful!
Here is the next pages. They have one large photo page with sea shell die cuts and one large pocket page and a half pocket page with tags. I love how this turned out! More of the sparkly card stock.
Here is the large pocket with tags. I added a little scalloped edge.
When you open the half pocket it reveals the page with the die cut sea shells and the shell embossed pockets and tags. Sparkly!
Aren't the die cut sea shells beautiful!
And here are the sea shell embossed pockets with tags.
Here are the next pages. I used a Stampin' Up corner punch and pearls on the first page and a pretty print on the second page.
On this first page I added a pocket and framed mat that can be pulled out. I used the pretty love print paper, scalloped the edge and used some satin ribbon and a little heart rhinestone charm. The second page has the corners punched with rhinestone accents.
Love. Isn't it sweet!
Here are the next pages. More corners punched and added pearls. Another sea shell embossed pocket page with tags.
Here is an up close photo of the pocket with the sea shell embossing and the tags. I used a glitter pen to draw a thin line along the curved edge.
Here are the last pages. I have one large photo area and a double waterfall that will hold 30 photos. I used my Spellbinders for the scalloped edges and added pearl accents. The card stock is sparkly.
Here is an up close look at the waterfall. I love it!!! I wish you could see the sparkle!
And this is the back of the album complete with a handmade with love tag.     I hope you enjoyed seeing my very long post of the wedding album.   Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Hello everyone, I hope you have had a good day! The weather was really nice today, sun shining and mild temps.,. It's pretty chilly in the evening and early morning. We are supposed to get some rain soon.
My niece Michelle is getting married on Cocoa Beach this month.  This is the wedding card I made for her and Mike.
I really love how it turned out!
I wanted to make it with a beach theme.
I love the shimmery sheer ribbon! The card-stock has a pearl sheen.
I love the sea shell embossing and I heat embossed the sentiment! I used a die to cut the scallop circle.
Here is the sentiment inside of the card.
I embossed the sea shells on the flap of the envelope.  I just love it!    I hope you enjoyed seeing the wedding card! Thank you for stopping bu and have a great evening!

I just love ths adorable Penny Black Stamp!!!
I used my Seashells embossing folder to frame arond two sides of my image.
I used a glitter pin to highlight some of the grains of sand. Can you see it sparkle?
Here is a close up of the embossed seashells. I used a touch of pink and yellow chalk on them.

Shell-ebrate Shaker Birthday Card

Good morning everyone! Hope you are having a good start to your day! Me, I have a very sharp pain in my side-stomach.  I don't know what could be causing it. It started last night and is not any better. Also it is going to be hot, hot, hot here this weekend!          I wanted to share a little card I made for my granddaughter Ruby. It is for her first birthday, can you believe it!!! I colored the little image kind of like a bathing suit she has. This is the first shaker card I have made and it was so much fun creating it. She and Mom like to go to the beach as often as the can. Actually her Mom (my daughter) goes on sea turtle hunts with a sea turtle organization where they live. She went on one the other night and they saw one. The sea turtles are very protected and it is a way to document them.
Please excuse the light mark on the car. It was so hard getting good photos because of the plastic window.
I filled the window with sequins, glitter and pearls. I thought Ruby would enjoy seeing them move around when Mom shakes it.
I wanted to emboss the card too. I think it looks so pretty. You know me and embossing!
  Isn't she a little cutie!
Here is the inside of my card.
I even embossed the back, it is a seashell after all.      Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
