Peppermint Shaker Ornament

Good evening everyone, I hope you had a nice day.  I've been working on more shaker ornaments.
This one is a yummy peppermint shaker ornament.
The peppermint cardstock is some I have had for a few years. The red glitter cardstock and peppermint charm are from Hobby Lobby. The peppermint stripe ribbon is from Dollar Tree and the beads and sequins and glitter chenille stem are some I had on hand.
I love the way it turned out and especially love the frosty peppermint charm!

Red Gingerbread Shaker Ornament

Hello everyone, I hope you all have had a good day! Me, I've had a lazy day. We went to visit my Aunt June who is 88.  She fell and fractured her hip before Thanksgiving and has been in  the hospital but  she is home and using a walker. We took her a big basket of goodies  and I baked her a pan of  homemade cornbread which she loves. We had such a nice time and a lot of laughs talking about  when she was a kid.  We did a few things for her which she appreciated. It rained from morning to night and was cold. I think it just  took a lot out of me.

Well I'm here with another shaker ornament.
I love this little gingerbread die, just look at her cute  face! She is another AliExpress die. The little gingerbread charm is from there  as well. Again everything else I had on hand.
I hope enjoyed seeing my gingerbread ornament!    Thank you for stopping by and have a great evening!

Mermaid Doll and Clothes- HEAVY PHOTOS

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a good day! It is soooo HOT here!   I have been busy, busy, busy sewing up a storm!   My granddaughter is having her 4th birthday in a few weeks (so hard to believe) and I wanted to make something special for her. She loves mermaids so I decided to make her a doll with some clothes and a special surprise, a mermaid tail! I found the cutest doll pattern from Simplicity patterns that had different hair styles and some clothes but not a mermaid tail.  Well, I decided to draw my own mermaid tail pattern and I think it turned out adorable! I also decided that I wanted a seashell top for the mermaid (all respectable mermaids have a seashell top)! I made 3 tops, 3 skirts, an dress and 4 pairs of shoes.
I just love her!
A little flip of her tail. I love the tropical print fabric!
She is such a little cutie! I painted her face.
I love her loopy little pigtails!
And her seashell top! I had some seashell dies and cut my felt out with them and used Wonder-under to fuse them to her torso. Then I used gold thread to stitch details and pink beads and one big pearl in the center. I then glued some gold sequins on for more sparkle! I love how it turned out!
Here she is with her new wardrobe.

And for her outfits,,,,,,,  Here is a cute floral top and skirt with turquoise shoes.
A floral coral top and skirt with red shoes.
A cute sea life top and turquoise skirt with peach pom pom trim and peach shoes.
And a cute pink and white hibiscus print dress with white shoes.
Her tail goes on and off like a skirt so she can wear her clothes and shoes.
I also have a beautiful book about the ocean and it's creatures for her.
I LOVE how my little mermaid and her clothes and mermaid tail turned out and I know Ruby will too!                        Thank you for stopping by and have a great evening!

Little Christmas Trees

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a good day! I'm still busy working on things! I got a set of 4 microwave bowl holders made and I did manage to vacuum and fix dinner and get the kitchen cleaned up.     I want to share a cute little set of Christmas trees I made.
Aren't they sweet, and they sparkle!
I decorated them with pearls and gold glass beads and glued them to the tops of old wooden thread spools that I covered with white glitter paper and glued shiny gold pipe cleaners around the tops and bottoms.
I made a banner for the large one and heat embossed the edges and Merry Christmas in gold. I die cut little gold stars for each tree.   I made them for my daughter Amy. She loves handmade ornaments and I try to make her some every year. She has always made Christmas ornaments every year to give family members since she was married. These are a little different, they are not for the Christmas tree. They are to set grouped together on their up-right piano or on their fireplace mantle or any place she would like.     I hope you enjoyed seeing my little Christmas trees.    Thank you for stopping by and have a good evening!

Favorite Time of Year Autumn Mini Album- HEAVY PHOTOS

Hello everyone! Well Halloween is almost here. Are you ready? I have made up my little bags of treats for the little kiddies and my grandson wants to carve the pumpkin. It's been chilly here so great weather for Halloween and I am making Chili tomorrow night,a tradition in out household for Halloween!
I have another mini album to share with you.  This one is an Autumn mini album for my daughter Amy. As I said before, I am loving making these adorable fast and easy albums!
The leaves print cardstock are from a paper pad I purchased at Hobby Lobby. I used a Martha Stewart punch to scallop the edge of the orange dot cardstock. The scallop rectangles are Spellbinders.
I love how nice, neat and straight the pages come together!
Here is the inside front cover.
This is the inside front cover and first page.
I used the scallop punch on the edges of the pocket pages and on the slide out pages. I used a zig zag die for a decorative edge on the slide out pages. I made a little pocket on the front of each pocket page and punched it with EK Success tiny scallop punch. I made tags from a set of stitched tag dies I have and added twine.
Here are the second and third pages.
I love the little pumpkin print paper! All of the prints were from the cutest 6x6 Autumn paper pad I found at Tuesday Morning for 2.99, with the exception of the leaf print on the cover and the sunflowers on the last page and of course the kraft cardstock.
Here are the fourth and fifth pages. I love the little squirrel on the pocket of the acorn paper!
Just look at those adorable little forest animals and oh that little deer!
Here are the sixth and seventh pages.
Thankful!
Here are the eight and ninth pages. I tell ya, these prints are so stinkin' cute!
Just look at those adorable gnomes and tiny mushrooms!
Here are the tenth and eleventh pages.
Look at those sweet little apples!
Here is the twelfth page. I love sunflowers and that is the cutest little raccoon!
Here is the inside back cover.         I love how this little Autumn mini album turned out! I hope you enjoyed seeing it! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
