Quilling After Cramming

Hello people! How was your day? Mine was not too fabulous.

I'm still in Shah Alam with my fellow hummingbirds. Its been 3 days since my final exam ended.And my work load hasn't seem to be decreasing. Final year project+Paperwork+Mock-crime scene.

By the way, I wanna share few things that I've been doing since the finals ended. I've google few blogs and stumble into this blog. It's about paper craft called quilling. I have been so tempted by the simpleness and the colours.  So I decided to do one for mom's birthday card. I watched couple of tutorial video on Youtube. You can watch it right here. Since its my first attempt to do this, don't expect an extravagant one. Plus, I had limited source. It took me 2 hours to made it,from scratch. 

I considered my work was okay for an amateur.

I'm actually looking forward to making more of these. And I am dying to go home. I miss baking! I thought I am so over cupcakes,but after days of google-ing for dessert recipes,I always find myself staring at the cupcakes recipes for hours. So I'm gonna start to bake it again, together with all those recipes I've been bundling. Hooray! Wish I had the time. Remember last semester break? I seriously don't want that. Where I'm always out and not home. I wanna be in my bed, in my room,with my books and the breezing air blowing from my window. And its mom birthday this weekend,so being here has sort of limited my sense of freedom-ness from planning mom's birthday party.

I have also upload new pics on my facebook. Thanks to the constant badgering of my colleagues. Their pics are like 40% from the total pics on my phone. Therefore you'll find most pics are with their picture on it,not mine. 

I've also made the cake+menus+dessert selection for the birthday party. Once I got home,I need to settle the invites and went shopping for my baking materials. Owh, did I tell you my new maid can make bread crumbs,seriously. Mom told me on the phone that she make a croquette-alike,with prawn filling for mom's teatime. Mom thought that she'd used my baking stuff, then she said no,she made it herself. Now I envied her. Haha.

Busy Post

Hello people!!

These past few days I'm living in my seventh heaven.

It was exam month (still is) and I went home!

I had the greatest time. 

Nothing beats a 

home cooked meal+irritating bro and a dotting mom.

Studying at home with the luxury of food and zero responsibilities (except studying) is WOW!

With the hectic life that I have been living the last couple of month,coming home feels like a retreat to heaven.

Not that I can say those hectic time are all behind me. 

Cause once my exam paper is over, my lecturers decide to make a mock-crime scene for us where we have to conduct an investigation,unsupervised, and later present our findings to the board of panels. 

And not to mention writing my final year proposal and project which I'll be performing them in my holidays..yup! 

In Shah Alam, at the faculty lab. Sigh.

But I'm still thankful cause so far everything went pretty well for me. 

Not that amazingly-well,which was what I had hoped for, but pretty well.

My health,friends and even the can-be-predicted weather has been splendid in my exam month.  

And right now I'm keeping my faith in Allah SWT to letting me pass all my exams with flying colours. Amin.

And...mom birthday is coming this month! 

I have to actually tell myself to calm down every time I took a 10-min break from my cramming session when I think about my plans on her birthday. 

Which involves cakes,sweets and colours! Can't wait!

Dear exam, can you fast forward time?

I just can't wait to bake all the recipes that I have been collecting since January...!

I'll be sure to post the picture of my edible goods once I've made it.

I had no idea why the urge to blog, movies downloading, tweeting and facebook-ing are at its peak during this exam month.

Care to share why? 

But I did had fun doing all of those things..so may be it was for the fun of it. May be.

Class today will be until 8.40pm

Saturday : 

2 Lab Reports and prepare a dialog in 

Mandarin for third language class

(which needed to be photocopied for 5 sets. Pastu, this is the day where abang fotostat tu choose nak tutup kedai. 

Of all the weekend yang selama ni dia bukak je, so I kena travel to seksyen 2 naik bas)

Sunday:

9.30am-2pm shooting Mandarin Video for language class and 

jawab soalan take home test ( 168 QUESTIONS!! where my lecturer only teach 55% of it, jawapan lagi 45% tu I have too actually google for the answers..)

Monday 11/10/2010 : 

Forensic science Take Home Test due(168 QUESTIONS in 2 days)

Tuesday:

Study group for math test

Wednesday:

8am-12pm Lab Forensic Analysis 

Thursday:

Quality Management Test

(where I have to memorize all the ISO...code and function)

Mandarin -Listening- Test

then later nak study group for math test

Friday:

Morning- Mathematics Test

Evening- Toxicology Test

Saturday:

-STUDY WEEK START OFFICIALLY-

Still kena siapkan lagi 3 forensic lab reports sebab the lecturer just gave out the template on Monday on how to do the lab reports PLUS lab on Wednesday tu...!!

Saturday:

Discuss forensic lab results

and planning on going home that evening to pick up the dress for dinner tomorrow night (completely forgot about it)

Sunday:

Forensic Dinner

kenapa sume bad stuff nak berlaku time2 tgh2 exam?

kenapa time exam? all this bad stuff bole choose untuk happen sepanjang semester ni tapi dia pilih exam week ni jugak..ish!

time exam week ni la,dewan makan nak tutup...

and cost me dinner mcD 3 times a week..

pastu bilik air tingkat ni jugak la nak renovate time2 ni..dengan bunyi2 drill yg mengejutkan dari jam 8pagi hingga 5 ptg...hmm...

abg2 kontrakter yg wat keja tu pun xsenang nampak kitaorang jln ke hulu hilir pkai tuala..

still not enough, keta pulak langgar divider so,bumper dia da 60% nak tertanggal..

and plus,terpelecok pulak mase jalan sorang2 balik library, atas konkrit yg rata pulak tu...

da la terpelecok,jatuh...seb baik ada brader naik motor tu nak tolong...kalo x...hmmm...

byk pahala brader tu dapat menolong orang yg tgh exam2 ni...

byk tul dugaan time2 ni..

hello people!

this is my first attempt nak wat blog, and at last, berjaya..

the thought of nak wat blog ni datang mse tgh jawab paper fizik few days ago..

sbb nye..

in my circle of friends,i am the only one who stuck dalam course ni,namely forensic science.yg major dalam chemistry.for someone yang tak pernah gagal dapat 'F' dalam kimia kat sekolah,i considered it as a compliment to have come all this way. so subject2 yang amek semua tak same dgn kengkawan.so,kenala survive sorg2..

so setelah 3 tahun meninggalkan ilmu fizik,sem ni kena blaja balik ilmu-ilmu fizik itu. and as usual, semue test sepanjang sem ni tak pernah lulus kecuali satu quiz. dengan berbekalkan kesedaran itu,diri ini pun belajar la bersungguh2.

so mase jawab paper fizik hari tu,kiranya agak bersedia la.

tapi,hati dan jiwa ni rase tenang sgt walaupun TAK DAPAT jawab..

rase tenang sgt,sampai siap bole buat lawak lagi dalm kepala ni..

ketenangan tu mmg laen la.mcm org tengah mengandung bile dia dapat tu baby dia sihat,no complication.hmm..tak tau la ape yang my mom doa sampai rase tenang sgt,and rase tenang tu kekal sampai la da habis exam tu.

and so i was thinking..may be paper tu akan menuju ke arah kegagalan,tu pasal la Tuhan bagi ketenangan awal2..mungkin kah? Innalillah...tak mau la gagal..
