Longevity Conference - Watch At Home :)

OMGoddess, Mr. M and I are *very* excited about the upcoming Longevity Conference this weekend in Costa Mesa :)))
SO many of our favourite yumsters are going to be there - it feels like such a treat to see so many amazing people in one blast before we disappear back down to Ecuador... ;)

If you don't already have tickets to be there in person this weekend, I'm really not sure if there even are any available any more - you can try at this link HERE...and if you aren't going to be there in person, you might be excited to know that the Longevity team have just launched a WEBCAST option for the entire event :)

You can tune in to the WHOLE 3-day weekend of workshops and even the very exclusive Monday Masters Workshop too if you like, from anywhere in the world...plus you get unlimited access to watch playbacks at your leisure for six months after the event - NICE :) I *loved* watching the archives from the last conference which we were unable to attend and I'm sure this one will be just as fabulous, if not even more so - very exciting :)

To access more info abt the webcast options, click HERE and enjoy :)

:) We were featured in a major magazine in Ecuador :) Vistazo magazine is one of the most popular, well-known mags in Ecuador and they decided to do a feature on the eco/green community life in Vilcabamba. They came to interview us about eating raw and set us into the magazine at the head of the article - check it out in the picture to the side - if you understand Spanish you can maybe even tell us what it all says... ;)

With love and blossoming joy,

Nurturing The Mother...

Recently I received an 'SOS' message from two separate women on the same day, both feeling distraught about the same thing: the wonderful natural parenting magazine 'The Mother' from the UK is set to close down, without more support. These two women both felt this would be a HUGE loss in the world of natural parenting/lifestyles and were seeking out extra support for the magazine. I have since been in contact with the editor of the magazine - Veronika - and I've been registering subscriptions for various friends worldwide who are new or soon–to–be parents.

I truly feel the value of this magazine too – it has been around for many years and offers outstanding articles on conscious birthing/parenting, peaceful pregnancy, ecstatic natural/home births, breastfeeding, homeschooling and so on – it even has a regular raw food column :) The Mother magazine is currently being published 6 times a year and subscriptions can be sent anywhere in the world. If YOU too would love to support the vital message of this magazine, you can visit their site and sign up to receive the mag HERE...if not for yourself, then maybe there's a friend you feel would love to read these mags, or a local women's centre where this message might be well received? I sincerely hope that together we can keep The Mother flowing in her divine ways – I feel this is such a key message to keep in circulation...

Raw Emotions - Now in PRINT :)

    AAAAAAAAAA ALALLLLAALLLAAAAAAAAAAAA :)
I am SOOOOOOOO HAPPY – Raw Emotions is in PRINT now and IN STOCK in our warehouse in California :))) The books just arrived a couple of days ago on a huge pallet and have been lovingly stacked onto our shelves, ready to be sent off all around the world :) YUMMY :)
I am so THRILLED to finally see the book in the physical and to be able to share it with others via a medium other than the internet ;) It is 256 pages, full–colour throughout, on gorgeous recycled paper with veggie inks aaaaand we are donating $1 from the sale of every book to charities that either plant trees or protect old forests.

Here’s what the lovely Shazzie said abt ‘Raw Emotions’:

"I’ve always wondered when someone would stop sweeping the issue of raw emotions under the carpet. In this tome of love, Angela gets deep down and squeaky clean!
Her attention to detail, her consistent approach and her truly holistic guidance could cause you the revolution you’ve been begging for. Angela joins the dots with the psychology of happiness, addiction, cravings, emptiness and love. Her book paints a full picture of how you can become an ecstatic raw being.
I’m so glad this book exists. There is a huge book-shaped hole on everyone’s bookshelf that will now be filled with one of the most useful books ever on the subject of food.
    Love and blissings to all,
    --Shazzie"

:) Love it...you can see more about Raw Emotions and order printed copies HERE...ENJOY :)

Lisa, a writer for national women’s magazine ‘First for Women’, is interested to hear from women who have lost weight using the RevitaLive Plan or by eating raw in general. If you have a wonderful story to share along these lines, let me know and I can put you in contact with Lisa, who may choose to feature you in the magazine soon – fun :)
(I was on the cover of First in autumn 2007 – see pic ;)
Email a brief one paragraph summary of your story to angela@rawreform.com and we’ll get you hooked up ;)

WOW, so many exciting things coming in lately to tell y’all about...here are three more of my top picks:

*There is going to be an ‘EFT World Summit’ starting this Monday, April 20th and running for 9 days. If you’re not familiar with the ‘Emotional Freedom Technique’, this is a VERY easy, simple form of emotional release that involves tapping with your own fingers on your body. This online event is going to be HUGE (like the ‘Raw Summit’, for EFT–ers ;) There are over 22,000 people signed up for it already and there are only 2 days left to register for this amazing free event – so, check it out HERE and get yourself signed up for some inspiring free info…enjoy :)

*I’m super–excited to say that Bunny Berry’s first ‘Raw Fu’ Magazine is going to be out VERY soon :) It looks like it’s going to be BEAUTIFUL and as an added bonus, she has 3 brand new Blend–tec blenders to give away to three subscribers – one for each of the next 3 months – WOW :) Very cool...you can subscribe HERE.

*The ‘Abundant Life Wellness Centre’ in Alberta, Canada is looking for a raw food chef – you can check out details and contact them through their site HERE.

PhEW...what an amazingly vibrant, beautiful, expanding community we are, raw family... ;)

    Feedback and FABULOUS cake... ;)

I hope you enjoyed my Raw Summit interview last night – if you didn’t hear it yet, you might be in with a chance of still hearing it for free HERE, depending on when you read this ;) Thanks for all the lovely feedback about it today - such as:

Your words were true and touching...you spared nothing in revealing a side of obesity that few people, who've never dealt with it, have ever seen.

I just listened to your interview from last night with Raw Summit. It was the first time I heard someone really share about the aspect of food addictions and how they succeeded on a raw diet in spite of the addiction. THANK YOU!!

I cannot tell you how unbelievable helpful your interview on the raw summit was for me! really remarkable.

    THANKS ;) I enjoyed sharing too…

on August the 16th I had:

    2 litres water
    200ml orange/grapefruit juice
    600ml ‘garden’ juice
    ½ a phenomenal large papaya
    500ml water
bowl of apple/flax: blended apples with ground flax seeds, ground almonds, stirred with cinammon, lucuma powder and mulberries
    1 litre water
200ml carrot juice with greener grasses powder
little box of jack fruit pieces
meal of romaine wraps with avo, sprouts, dulse, lime juice, tomatoes, cilantro (coriander)
    1 litre water

Thanks also for all the messages today affirming the fact that the cover image of me on First for Women magazine really doesn’t seem to look like me…phew ;) It’s a relief to know others don’t see me like that either…Matt really had me laughing about it today…he commented that I seem to have no issue with, for instance, filming myself early morning in my pajamas etc on a liver cleanse, scrunching my face in the camera on Google Vids as I drink Epsom salts, yet print a picture of me dressed up, with make-up and hair done and I feel awkward about it…lol…well, yeah, it’s all about truth, innit ;) ???…it feels odd to see some version of myself that seems like its come through someone else’s filter…anyway, one of you lovelies wrote today to say that this mag is indeedy apparently in wide distribution all over the States and often covers interesting ‘alternative’ topics like enzymes/juicing in a way that brings it ‘to the mainstream’ – so, that’s exciting…raw food renegading…I LOVE it...let’s see how it unfolds…

on August the 17th I had:

    700ml water
700ml warm water with lemon juice
    1.5 litres watermelon juice
    1 tbsp greener grasses powder
    800ml ‘garden’ juice
phenomenal ‘banana bread with cream cheese topping’ (see below)
    1.5 litres water
    1 tbsp greener grasses
    1 large papaya
1 little gem lettuce with curry-flavour dehydrated sunflower/hemp seeds, plus sprout mix and dulse
    500ml water

The banana bread today was incredible - a Monarch speciality ;) The ‘bread’ was made with a mixture of pulp left over from juicing veggies – mainly carrot pulp, food processed together with bananas and ground flax, then with pecan pieces and sultanas stirred in. The cream cheese is absolutely exceptional – a mix of avocados, dulse, lemon juice and dates – WOW…I’d recommend just making THAT on it’s own – it’s totally amazing…This is just such a cool meal, as it ‘recycles’ the pulp from the juicing and is so yummy and quick to make and filling too – packed with magic and no powders or anything – just ‘real’ foods ;) It may not perhaps look as aesthetically charming as banana breads of your past, yet it’s sure to hit the spot in terms of taste and fulfillment…yummmmmm… ;)

    One love,
    Angela. xxx

    Cover Girl...

WOW…I’m on the front cover of ‘First for Women’ magazine in the US this month, which has a reported readership of over 2 million women – yeeeeee-HAH – raw food weight loss is going mainstream ;)…This picture is the cover shot…eeeeeeek…exciting…and yet…does that really look like ME…??? …it seems so peculiar to me…some of you may recall my musings on the lengthy photo shoot for this mag cover a couple of months back – quite extraordinary the amount of time and energy that is poured into creating one shot like this…and it's so interesting to me that I seem to end up looking as the magazine would like me to come across... ;) hmmmmm, well, it's all good seed-spreading...let’s see what unfolds as more people read about a NATURAL way of healing…I haven’t seen inside the mag yet – so, if you see a copy, please let me know how it looks...I believe First for Women is widely available in book stores/grocery stores etc... ;)

On August the 14th I had:

    1.5 litres water
    200ml rejuvelac
    150ml grapefruit juice
    700ml ‘garden’ juice
    flesh of one ‘personal’/mini watermelon
    500ml water
big salad with greens, sprouts, tomatoes, red pepper, dulse, flax/tomato dressing
    1 litre water
    box of strawberries
    250ml rooibos tea
bowl of blended banana/mulberries/hemp seed with whole pumpkin seeds
    3 guava
    500ml water
    400ml rooibos tea

The weather here on the south coast of England has been phenomenal the last couple of days – extremely strong winds, rain, the sea dashing against the shore…in the town where we’re staying, the sea was separated some decades back from the sheer chalk cliffs that mark the end of this island, with a wide walkway of concrete at the base of the cliffs…it occurred to me while watching the relentless thrashings of the sea in the wind the last couple of days, that it was as if the sea was enraged at no longer being able to kiss the cliffs and had conspired with the wind to beat its way passionately northwards to once again embrace its etsranged lover…

on August the 15th I had:

    1.5 litres water
    400ml rooibos tea
    250ml rejuvelac
    200ml orange/grapefruit juice
    800ml cucumber/celery/apple/ginger juice
    ½ a phenomenal large papaya
avo/banana blend with lucuma, maca, mulberries and pumpkin seeds
    1 litre water
    spinach wraps with avo/dulse/sprouts/tomatoes
    500ml water
    slice of watermelon
    500ml water

I speak tonight on Raw Summit – yeeeeee-HAH ;) Hope you enjoyed Matt’s talk last night…wow, he really went into some stuff…misery, social issues, eating issues, colonics, cracao, sex… ;) There’s no stopping the honesty with this guy… ;) If you didn’t hear it, you can catch it HERE for free still, until mine starts at 8pm EST tonight…ENJOY ;)

    One love,
    Angela. xxx
