Have *You* Ever Had an "Ice Cream Bean" Fruit...?

Three things I'm currently excited about:

1. 'Ice Cream Bean' Fruits :) This evening I found a new (to me) fruit in a local store in Ojai, called "The Ice Cream Bean" fruit, or "Inga edulis" by its Latin name...it is *so* cool :) It is shaped like a huge green pod, which opens up to reveal cotton-candy-like white pods of fruit, wrapped around black beans. The white fruit tastes like *vanilla ice cream* and apparently in some places the black beans are cooked and eaten too...wow :) It is native to S. America, so hopefully we'll be able to grow it in Ecuador... We filmed a video on this yummy fruit tonight, that we'll post over at TheRawFoodWorld.TV soon...

2. Permaculture in Vilcabamba...I recently found out that there's a Canadian guy called Yves running a 10 acre Permaculture village on the outskirts of Vilcabamba - YAY :) He went there at the tender age of 20 with less than $2000 to his name and a vision in his heart ;) He now has a community with abode/cob buildings, a yurt, a humanure system, amazing gardens and the intention to run Permaculture courses there in the future - *LOVE* it - we hope to connect with him when we get back down there soon...you can read more abt Yves' adventures HERE.

3. Green Smoooothies - I am *loving* drinking green smoothies at the moment, throughout the day...as some of you know, I have a sweeet tooth and whenever I eat something savoury, I always want to eat smthg sweet after it, which can lead to other-than-optimal food combinations...my current side-step of this pattern involves drinking green juices and smoothies throughout the day...because green smoothies are already sweet, I feel no pull to have anything else sweet after them - in fact the only thing I add in is Spirulina Manna sprinkled on top, so I have 'spirulina-mouth' condition more-or-less most of the time at the moment... ;)

What are *you* excited about, dear reader...?

on February the 10th it was mmmmmy sister's 35th birthday and I enjoyed:

1 quart water
2 cups greeeeeen juice
2 cups greeeeeeen smoothie: apple, sunflower greens, meiner's lettuce, chia flour, water, with Spirulina Manna sprinkled on top
2 cups water
1.5 cups reishi/shilajit/ormus tea
2 cups greeeeeeeeen juice
1 quart greeeeeeen smoothie: apple, sunflower greens, meiner's lettuce, chia flour, water, with Spirulina Manna sprinkled on top
3 cups greeeeeeen smoothie: apple, cilantro, meiner's lettuce, chia flour, water, with Spirulina Manna sprinkled on top
2 cups reishi/shilajit/ormus tea
2 cups water

I've been doing quite a lot of 'manual labour' in the last week or so, at our warehouse, where things have been intensely expanding and there is a lot to 'do' every day...I actually really enjoy it - I love doing physical work and used to do a lot of it before I started the RawReform website in 2004. Prior to website-ery I was working on farms, teaching English to primary school children, working in greenhouses and so on...and these last few years I've been tapping a lot on computer keyboards instead... ;) Mmmmm...it feels so *right* to be moving around all day... So, I'm really enjoying helping out in the warehouse, movin' and shakin' all day long and am even further excited to get back down to our land in Ecuador in a couple of weeks, to start channeling my activity into the land there - yeeeeeeee-HAH :)

on February the 11th I loved:

1 quart water
1.5 cups reishi/shilajit/ormus tea
2 cups greeeeen juice
2 cups greeeeeeen smoothie: apple, meiner's lettuce, parsley, chia flour, Ormus Greens, water, with Spirulina Manna sprinkled on top
2 cups greeeeeeen smoothie: apple, meiner's lettuce, parsley, chia flour, Ormus Greens, water, with Spirulina Manna sprinkled on top
1 quart greeeen smoothie: apple, meiner's lettuce, parsley, chia flour, Ormus Greens, water, with Spirulina Manna sprinkled on top
2 cups greeeeeen juice
3 cups greeeeen smooothie: papaya, boysenberries, sunflower greens, romaine lettuce, chia flour, water, with Spirulina Manna sprinkled on top
1.5 cups reishi/shilajit/ormus tea
2 cups water

In the midst of the warehouse cyclone of activity this week, our dear friend Kiumars Imandel of TheGuruOfYou.com came to visit, mid-Juice Feast, to pick up some juicy supplies, share some much-appreciated energy work with us and do some filming - fun :) He interviewed me for about an hour and is posting the clips up to his YouTube account - you can see the first one here:

Kiu's a great interviewer and asked lots of insightful, juicy Qs about my life pre-raw, our intentions in Ecuador, the relationship between Mr. M and I, my 'spiritual' life practices and lots more...enjoy ;)

All love,
Ms. Stokes-Monarch. xxx

Come Fruit Tree Planting With Us in Vilcabamba, Ecuador :)

Ooooooo, we have a *yummy* new development to announce about the intended Raw Food Gathering in Vilcabamba, Ecuador, May 4th-14th :) Join Mr. M and I, David Wolfe, the Wheatgrass Messiah, *Solla* from Iceland (hopefully - I am nudging the Universe daily to support this... ;) and many other yumsters for a fruity, earthy, delicious experience down south...
We're intending to plant fruit trees all around Vilcabamba, in areas that are open to receiving nature's bounty... As you may know, Mr. M and I pledged to donate $1 from the sale of every printed version of my book "Raw Emotions" to charities that either plant new trees or protect old growth forests. WELL...which finer charity to donate these shiny pennies to than Dr. Wolfe's Fruit Tree Planting Foundation? :)
This idea was 'downloaded' to me one morning recently during my Juice Feast as I awoke and I literally sprang out of bed with excitement about it ;) We intend to gather up baby fruit trees in Vilcabamba in the coming months and locate suitable places to help them connect to Mama Earth...everyone who comes down to play at the Raw Food Gathering in May will be welcome to join us in this community fruit tree planting adventure :) YAY :) ...and if you'd like to purchase a printed copy of "Raw Emotions" to support this venture, you can find the books HERE.
So...if you don't yet have clear plans for May and would love to come and explore Vilcabamba, plant trees, connect with the raw tribe and experience the sublime synchronous flow of the Andes, this might be a fun event for you to enjoy - we look forward to seeing you there, if you are drawn...http://rawinecuador.ning.com :)

1 quart water
2 cups greeeeen juice
2 cups greeeeen juice from the Tree of Life Cafe
2 tbsp coconut oil, 3 tbsp Sunfire Elixir and 30 chlorella tablets
3 tbsp bee pollen
3 cups water
2 cups greeeeen juice from the Tree of Life Cafe

on January the 17th I enjoyed:

1 quart water
3 tbsp freeze-dried acai powder - WOW :)
2 cups greeeeeen juice
3 cups greeeeeeeeen juice
2 tbsp coconut oil, 30 chlorella tablets, 3 tbsp acai powder
1 quart water
2 cups greeeeen juice
2 tbsp acai powder
2 cups water
mug of herbal tea
2 cups green juice
2 cups water

Sooooo...as I write, today is Day 34 of the Green Juicy adventure I am currently involved in...I have started to include some acai powder (WOW) and now that we're not at the Tree and loving having half a gallon of fresh juice provided for us daily by the Cafe, I suspect food might start to seem more and more appealing in the coming days - we'll see how it flows...;)
For now, I mainly still feel like someone who is Juice Feasting, with some other little bits here and there on the side...my body definitely seems to be wanting *simple* things in all my choices - e.g. just acai powder on its own, nothing else ;) lol... We are back in Ojai, California now, with all the incredible edibles from the local farmers - WOW, outstanding produce - we are *so* blessed here...

A few of you have been writing in to ask for my favourite juice recipes...hmmmmmm...well, here are some ideas:
*'Chocolate Milk' - spinach, romaine lettuce, carrot - tastes like CHOCOLATE MILK ;O Amazing...
*Celery/Cucumber/Apple/Ginger - sooooo refreshing and uplifting, totally more-ish...
*Romaine/Fennel/Carrot/Spinach/Sunflower Greens - subliiiiime :)
Note - these are not the kind of greeeeeen juices I've been drinking for the last month - those have all been low glycemic (no fruits/carrots etc) - these three suggestions listed above just taste great to most people, which is an important factor... ;) There are no *amounts* given for the produce items, as it is up to you to decide how to much of each ingredient to use - enjoy :)
Hope that helps - happy juicing :)))
All love,

2009 in Raw-view ;)

WELL...what a year 2009 has been for us...I’ve been thinking back over the last 12 months with a mixture of joy and amusement the last couple of days... ;)
We started the year in Mexico, launching the LiveLightly Plan and rescuing two dogs, from whom we contracted canine scabies...hmmmmm... I went back to the UK to do USA Immigration interviews, heal from scabies and finish writing “Raw Emotions”. After 2 months or so of self-imposed “quarantine” to help heal afore-mentioned scabies and finish afore-mentioned book, I emerged joyfully in the spring with a scabies-free body, a completed book and a fiance visa for the US, after nearly 2 years in the immigration system – YAY :) Swiftly exited left, to Ecuador, to meet future husband and our land in Vilcabamba for the first time – LOVED it all so very much.
Back to the USA after 10 days and almost immediately straight into raw food talk tour which pretty much ran from April to November this year, allll over the US, with little breaks here and there. Also, finding ourselves under obligation to marry within 90 days of me entering the US, as a condition of my visa, we set about formulating wedding plans immediately too, for the Raw Union Festival ;)

Raw Emotions arrived in printed form, my first printed book – VERY exciting...and onwards we travelled, far and wide all over the US, doing talks, festivals and interviews until June, wedding time for Mr. M and I, in Oregon. Enjoyed a spectacular love-fest of a wedding at the Raw Union festival, on organic farm with 400+ people in attendance and Dr. Wolfe as our minister ;) Morphed into the “Stokes-Monarch”...

On December the 27th I was blissed with:

1 quart water
1 cup greeeen juice
1 cup reishi tea
shot of wheatgrass juice
2 cups greeeeen juice from The Tree of Life Café
2 cups greeeeen juice from The Tree of Life Café
2 tbsp coconut oil with 40 chlorella ‘nuts’
1 quart water
2 cups greeeeeen juice
1 tbsp bee pollen
2 cups greeeeen juice from The Tree of Life Café
2 cups water

The rest of the summer seems a blur in my memory of travel, talks, events, boxes, books, people, conversations, in and out of hotels, motels, people’s houses, talk venues and so on...we probably did 100+ talks in around 30+ states this year...we also started the monthly Raw Food World Radio Show in the summer…
We finished our talk tour on November the 22nd and the very next day, on November the 23rd, our car was ‘totalled’ in a pretty intense car accident in Pennsylvania ;O Immediately started 7-day Juice Feast to help expedite healing from shock, cuts, bruises, whiplash, aches etc... As I was due back in California very soon afterwards for my NEXT Immigration interview, we welcomed a second hand jeep into our lives and jiggled gratefully back to CA for interview, only to be thwarted by the question “what colour is the carpet at your mum’s house?” lol ;) Case put on hold for ‘next 6 months’...ho-hummmm...thankfully the interviewer seemed to have a change of heart in the following week and I got a letter shortly afterwards announcing that I am now welcome in the US, as a “permanent resident” – yeeeeeee-HAH ;)

December saw us help our warehouse staff in Ojai expand the premises to three times the size and I also pieced together the free “Profoundly Raw” ebook as a Christmas gift to all...
Then we dallied off to Arizona, where we currently find ourselves resting ooohhhhhhh soooooooo gratefully and joyfully in the kind embrace of The Tree of Life centre, Juice Feasting, parasite cleansing, getting body work and mainly just RELAXING ;)
It’s felt like an amaaaazing journey this year – thank you SO much to all of you who have been a part of this flow in some way – those who came to talks, watched the TV show, listened to the radio show, read this blog, sent in messages, sent healng and love after our car accident, came to our wedding and so on – however you connected, thank you :)
I am really excited for 2010 and send you all the very best wishes for an expansive year of joy, love and wonder too – enjoy :)

on December the 28th I enjoyed:

1 quart water
shot of wheatgrass juice
2 cups greeeeen juice from The Tree of Life Café
1 cup green juice
1.5 cups DELICIOUS coconut kefir :)))
2 cups greeeeen juice from The Tree of Life Café
2 tbsp coconut oil with 40 chlorella tablets
3 cups water
samples of spirulina crunchies and new bee pollen – yummm ;)
2 cups greeeeen juice from The Tree of Life Café
3 tbsp bee pollen with probiotics
2 cups greeeeen juice from The Tree of Life Café
2 cups water

So, we’re on day 14 of our current intended 30-Day Green Juice Feast here at the Tree of Life in AZ and all is flowing AMAZINGLY well... :)

Alongside this juicy flow, I’m excited to say that on January the 7th, we’re going to be connecting with the lovely David and Katrina Rainoshek of JuiceFeasting.com, for an interview on TheRawFoodWorld TV Show via Skype, alllll about Juice Feasting...and YOU get to ask all the questions... ;)
So, if you have any juicy questions you’d love to have answered by the king and queen of JF-ing, just email those Qs in to angela@rawreform.com by Jan 6th and we’ll aim to get them all answered on Jan 7th with the Rainosheks – FUN :)

All love,
Ms. Stokes-Monarch. xxx

Happy Anniversaries :)

Tomorrow – November the 19th – this blog will be 2 years old :) I started writing on Nov 19th 2006, the night before I started my 92-day Juice Feast in Costa Rica. You can check out my first ever blog post HERE if you like ;) (To the right is a picture of me having my 'final supper' before feasting...wow, my hair is abt half the length there that it is now... ;) Happy Anniversary, dear blog :)
I was very unsure about blogging at first, yet soon fell in love with this medium of communicating – it feels like ‘writing an email to the world’ to me and in the last 2 years I’ve gone on to write around 400 posts...
Massive thanks and gratitude to all of you who have been along for the ride – for all the encouragement, comments, feedback, suggestions, support and LOVE :) It is all appreciated...

on November the 17th I had:

1 quart water
2 cups greeeeen juice: spinach, kale, endive, fennel, cucumber, celery, ginger, lime
2 cups water
1 persimmon
15 spirulina ‘nuts’
2 cups energy soup with flax crackers and okra on the side, followed by goji YUMBALLS ;)
little cup of spicy tea
3 cups water
double shot of wheatgrass juice
bowl of grawnola from Shellbel with pumpkin seed milk – yummmmmmmm
2 cups water

Well, 2 years since my Juice Feast started, eh? Would I do it again? SURE...I’m always up for some more detox...lol...(well, I did used to be morbidly obese, remember... ;)
There actually seem to be rather a lot of people Juice Feasting at the moment from what I’m noticing – I keep getting emails about Feasting as well as meeting people in person with those tell-tale shiny eyes and skin ;) One current Juice Feaster is Steve Pavlina – he’s on day 25 as I write this – yay, Steve :)
He seems to be having a very ‘interesting’ time of it, as you can read if you head over to his wonderfully honest, insightful blog HERE.
It seems reading about Steve’s current juicy lifestyle has been pressing the buttons of some of his regular readers, who have been writing to him concerned about his health and encouraging him to stop feasting, labelling Juice Feasting as ‘fanatical’ – lol...beautiful ;) I LOVE the response Steve wrote up about this on his blog, which you can read HERE. The labelling of healthy things as ‘fanatical’ has long fascinated me – for example, someone who eats raw might be called a ‘health nut’, ‘health freak’ or ‘health food fanatic’ and yet I have never encountered someone who eats mostly from fast food restaurants being called a ‘fast food fanatic’ or a ‘trans-fat nut’... ;)
Here’s a little excerpt from Steve’s response that I love:

“I don’t take on challenges like a juice feast with the naive expectation that it’s going to be smooth sailing the whole way. What would be the reward in that? That would be like going to the gym and doing my workout on a machine set at level 1. I’d just be wasting my time.
The goals that interest me most are the ones that cause me to say to myself, “Wow… I’m really not sure if I’m cut out for this. This looks pretty damned tough. I’m going to have to pu
sh myself to a whole new level in order to make it to the end. I honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to pull this off.”
But then I think to myself, “What if I fail? No big deal. At least I’ll know where my limits are. But what if I succeed? How awesome would that be? I’d gain an incredible new reference experience for the rest of my life. I’d have an amazing experience to share with others. And what new challenges might I tackle beyond this one?” That’s the kind of thinking that excites me.”

I hope you treat yourself to reading the whole thing over HERE – there are some GREAT thoughts in there about challenges, goals, ‘fanatacism’, boundaries and more...ENJOY :)

on November the 18th I had:

1 quart water
little cup of spicy tea
triple shot of wheatgrass (eeeeeeeek ;)
2 cups of energy soup with okra and flax crackers on the side, followed by goji yumballs,
little cup of spicy tea
3 cups water
1.5 cups greeeen juice: spinach, kale, endive, fennel, cucumber, celery, Jerusalem artichoke, ginger, lime
2 cups of energy soup with flax crackers on the side, followed by goji yumballs,
little cup of spicy tea
2 cups water

Do you know what? Today is a very special day to me for another reason too. I hope he won’t mind me sharing this with you...I am feeling rosy right now, as it is precisely three years today since I sent the first email to Mr. M that sparked the flame that burst into the roaring fire of our relationship ;) lol... For those of you who don’t know the story of how we first connected, back on November the 18th, 2005, a certain Stokes sent an email to an American raw foodist called Matthew Monarch. The Stokes had her first e-book out and was curious if the Monarch would like to sell it in his big shiny American raw food online store ;) He did not want to. Hmmmm... HOWEVER, he did like the look of the aforementioned Stokes and after a number of emails back and forth, those flames were starting to spark up...when huge bouquets of roses began arriving at her door, along with dozens of balloons, it was clear to Stokes that she was getting more than she’d bargained for from sending out her little email ;) After 4 months the two met in person...and well, now here we are, 3 years later, unfortunately thousands of miles apart again and yet, together... The journey has not always been smooth, we are in this together though and feel very fortunate to have each other...I’m excited to see what the next 3 years bring :) Happy Anniversary, Mr. M ;)
What about you? Have you found a yummy soul-mate to play with? Looking for someone? Someone particular in mind...? If so, how might it feel to send that certain person an email today, to let them know you’re interested? If not, how about taking a visit to a yummy raw social site like GiveItToMeRaw and seeing who’s around? Or if you’re already in a relationship, what might you be able to do today to help that person know you love them, appreciate them and care for them?
MUAH :) ENJOY :)

We love you all,

Delicious Co-Creation...

OOooOOOoooo, yumminess...we went to a meeting about Anastasia today :))) It was arranged by a woman in this area who has been reading and loving the ‘Ringing Cedars’ series of books, just like we and many millions of other people have :) She decided to create a space for those who are interested to gather together and share the impact these books are having on all our lives...I found it fascinating to hear what other people get out of these books – the different perspectives, the different things that stand out for people...for me, as I think I’ve made clear by now, these books represent pure truth and love – I just LOVE reading them and the visions they create and awaken within me...and I see the main message I take from them as the importance now for us all to get growing food – get to the land, get connected, enjoy the intimacy with nature and the ecstatic dance with freedom, no longer wrapped into a self-destructive, ailing system...We’re reading Book 6: The Book of Kin at the moment and it’s just soooo delicious...one of the bits that tickled my fascination nodules the most so far was some comment along the lines that humans get bored living in the buildings they do because THEY DO NOT CHANGE – they stay the same, more or less, year in, year out – you might move a piece of furniture here, hang up some other curtains there or smthg...yet it’s fundamentally the same – it doesn’t breathe, shift, grow or really interact...compare that to living outside all the time – think how different that would be – your landscape and environment would be constantly shifting, there would be endless new fascination to explore...I found this very interesting – I think it was introduced in the context of people getting bored in their marriages too, if I’m recalling accurately – same house, day in, day out, same people, same interactions, stagnating...hmmmmmmmmmmm...interesting stuff...this all led me to reflect on my own restless, nomadic behaviour so far in life, moving from place to place so often – I began to ponder if perhaps this has been driven in part by a desire to keep the landscape moving, yet without enough familiarity/will to choose living outside as my solution – so I’ve kept on moving houses/areas instead...there is definitely something in me that still jars against the reality of living outside...though we do sleep with huge windows completely open, so it’s pretty much like sleeping outside in THAT sense...well, we’ll see how it unfolds from here... ;)
If you want to dive into the Anastasia collection, you can see them HERE...

On March the 31st I had a juicy day of:

1.5 quarts water
36oz watermelon/mandarin juice
36oz lettuce/pak choi/dandelion/carrot/zucchini juice
2 cups water
40oz watermelon/orange juice
1 tbsp green powder
3 cups beetroot/apple/cabbage juice
1tbsp wheatgrass powder
3.5 cups apple/lettuce/cucumber/garlic/hot pepper juice
3 cups water

SOooOooooOoo...this was my FIFTH juicy Monday in a row, playing along on the skirts of the Global Juice Feast...which must mean those of you in full juicy mode have been at this for...wow, more than a month now, if you started on March the 1st...I hope you’re all having a wondrous time with it. I’m enjoying my weekly check-ins to juicy world...I might even keep it up after the GJF wraps us this time round...we’ll see...it just feels like a really nice break to me each week – I barely even notice it anymore as an ‘event’ in fact, which is interesting to me when I think back; if you’d asked me to spend a day on JUST juices 6 or 7 years ago, I would have most likely FREAKED OUT and thought I’d never make it through the day – these days, in contrast, it seems like a nice BREAK ;) LOL...how our perspectives can change...

on April the 1st I had:

1.5 quarts water
3 cups watermelon/orange juice
1tbsp wheatgrass powder
2 handfuls of fresh figs, from the trees here
2 cups water
8oz cucumber/lettuce/sprouts/carrot/cabbage juice
16oz carrot/spinach juice
bowl of cucumber yum: grated cucumber mushed with sunflower seed pate, avocado, finely diced onion, karengo seaweed, mixed sprouts, served in lettuce leaves
2 cups water
½ watermelon
2 cups water

on April the 2nd I had:

1.5 quarts water
1 quart watermelon/orange juice
1 pint zucchini/spinach/pak choi/cabbage/carrot juice
2 cups water
little bowl of Monarch Mulberry Magic – he’s at it again, that Monarch has created a magical greeeeeeen treat using just dried mulberries blended with ground almonds and spirulina powder - yummmmmmmmmmmm
3 cups water
3 cups zucchini/spinach/pak choi/cabbage/carrot juice
bowl of figgy pudding: fresh figs blended with fresh tangelos, stirred with yacon/lucuma/vanilla/cinnamon/spirulina powders
3 cups water

I would love to ‘big up’ Think Arete again today...I know I’ve mentioned this site before – I’ve just been loving the daily messages so much from them though, I wanted to recommend checking it out again. If you haven’t been there yet, basically the idea is that Brian Johnson (the guy who created Zaadz – which is now the beautiful Gaia Community) is collating together all his favourite nuggets of truth, beauty, ‘wisdom’ and so on from all that he has read and heard over the years from self-help resources to ‘spiritual’ books, wellness seminars and so on. It’s great fun :) Every day he emails out a short ‘big idea’ mail shot, if you sign up for it (free) – this might be anything from relationship guidance to an inspiring quote, to a simple idea that could revolutionise the way you create YOUR reality ;). The by-line of the site is ‘concentrated wisdom for the busy self-actualizer’ – love it...and that’s exactly what you get – no fluff, no hype, just short, simple, useful, positive, funny nuggets every day to boost your yumminess vibe ;) You can check the site out and sign up for your daily hit of yum HERE: http://www.thinkarete.com

ENJOY :)

Raw Emotions and Juices Flowing...

I’m excited to announce that the latest RawReform ‘book baby’ is nearly ready for delivery ;) Raw Emotions was given a ‘due date’ originally of March the 1st...well, for now, that’s looking a little premature for this particular baby – however, we’re expecting arrival by no later than March the 7th though now ;) Which just happens to be the day for the new moon in compassionate, transcendent Pisces – how ideal :) Apologies for any inconvenience, for those who have been patiently awaiting this arrival...Raw Emotions will be gracing the inbox of those who have pre-ordered it, very soon...we’d just love to fully polish up the last details in the next few days for you, so that you get the best version to enjoy...If you’re unfamiliar with this new impending arrival, Raw Emotions is my latest e-book, exploring the emotional and spiritual transformations people tend to experience when they go raw and is packed with tips for easing your own transformation along... So, thanks again to all who have already pre-ordered and if you would like to see more info and perhaps place your order now, if you haven’t already, please see HERE. :)

on February the 28th I had:

1.5 quarts water
2 big handfuls of blackberries, straight from the bushes
little bowl of cherries
20 oz celery/cucumber/parsley/arugula/cabbage/carrot juice
little bowl of salad: finely sliced romaine lettuce, grated cucumber, karengo seaweed, sundried tomatoes, sunflower seed pate
1 quart water
10oz celery/cucumber/parsley/arugula/cabbage/carrot juice
bowl of fruit salad with chia gel: babako/raspberry/blueberries/nashi pear/apple
1 quart water

Tomorrow - March 1st - is the official kick-off day for the Global Juice Feast – yeeeeeeeeeeee-HAH :) (ALL the more reason to let ‘Raw Emotions’ unfold a little slower for now and shine some more light into juicy joys instead ;)
SO, I’m very excited to say that on the eve of this worldwide foray into feasting we’ve just managed to put up a new set of Juice Feasting Calls for download. ;) This ‘Juice Feasting Conference Call’ series, comprises 4 one-hour calls, which were recorded live in May 2007, after my own 92-day Juice Feast was completed. This is a new way to access in-depth information about Juice Feasting - these calls go deeper into the 'knitty-gritty' than my 'Juice Feasters Handbook'.
In this call series, I discussed many different aspects of Juice Feasting with our wonderful interviewer Michelle, based on the questions sent in by listeners.
Here were the call themes:

Week 1. JUICE FEASTING PRACTICALITIES
Week 2. HOPES AND FEARS
Week 3. SOCIAL ISSUES
Week 4. COMING OFF A JUICE FEAST

If you didn't join us at the time and would like to listen in to these calls, you can now gain access to them all, right HERE. You can download all four calls, to listen to and access at your convenience. Hurray :)
ENJOY ;)

on February the 29th I had:

1.5 quarts water
blackberries straight from the bush, plus wild strawberries, concord grapes and a couple of little apples, all straight from the plants in the orchard – blisssssss :)
1 tbsp green powders
bowl of salad: finely sliced romaine lettuce, grated cucumber, karengo seaweed, sundried tomatoes, sunflower seed pate, served in lettuce wraps and nori sheets
1 quart water
30oz celery/kale/cucumber/zucchini/ginger/radish/lettuce/carrot juice
bowl of outrageously divine raspberry pudding – fresh raspberries blended with soaked dried mulberries, with LSA stirred in (ground linseed/sunflower seeds/almonds), plus more whole fresh raspberries and dried mulberries, to chew on
1 quart water

Ahhhh, the Global Juice Feast... I can hear the sound of juicer motors kicking into action the world over ;) I am so excited for all of you out there in liquid wonderland at the moment...or just about to dive in ;) It’s such an incredible journey to take...and indeed, so many people out there are JF-ing at the moment already...it’s truly phenomenal. In fact, I was delighted to discover this evening that there’s even now a COMMUNITY site, which has been set up my masters of the juicy ceremonies, David and Katrina Rainoshek. It's just like GiveItToMeRaw.com – for JFeasters :) There are already over 250 members, supporting each other and tuning in to the global flow...if you’re already a member of GITMR, it’s even easier to join this ‘sister’ site, as your info, friends etc can be transferred over with your ID – very cool – you can see my profile HERE.
I still haven’t decided what my participation in this feast will look like ;) LOL...yet I think, considering the fact that the event officially kicks off in less than 24 hours as I write this – it’s highly unlikely I’ll be in the game for 92 days again this time round...it just doesn't feel like my calling right now...I may indeed dip in and out a bit though – especially with the equinox coming up soon in March (Autumn for us down in this part of the world – Spring for those of you up there ;)
So, happy juicy journeys to all of you about to foray out into fluidity... Oh and if you need any last minute juicy supplies, remember to check out the Juice Feaster’s Epicentre in the RawReform store, HERE.

ENJOOOOOOOY :)
