My son's new girlfriend comes from a mixed Dutch/Australian heritage. Her parents and siblings currently live in Holland. So, for her birthday yesterday he gave her some (very razzleberry looking) tulips in a pot! They were very lovely and were the inspiration for this card that I made today. Have you seen these on SCS? The flower is made with the wing of the bird from the new bird punch (punched 3 times and layered) The stem of the tulip is the little branch from the same punch but with the leaves removed. Some people do leave the flowers attached but I don't think that they look too tulip like! I made mine with the large and small oval punches. My pot is made with a large oval , trimmed on both ends and prettied up with a scrap of razzleberry spotted ribbon. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny sentiments and the DSP is Cottage Wall-am I ever going to get sick of these papers??? Not yet!!!

No I hadn't seen these on SCS and it's just the sort of thing I get over-excited about! I love your tulips and the colours and the whole card!
