For the last Wednesday of May (and #waybackWednesday ), here are some oldies-but-goodies  Behind The Scenes (some of them I have previously posted here , but it's worth re-posting them here as well as a throwback and in case you missed them and haven't seen them before) and on set photos of  Keira Knightley   and co-stars (with director  Joe Wright and P&P crew ) on Pride & Prejudice (2005) movie set, you may or may not have seen before. There are tons of P&P BTS and on set photos I've saved over the years and will compile them all in one album/gallery and add the link here for you all to see, very soon. See them all below!

A couple new set photos (see above and below) of Matthew Macfadyen filming at Godalming, Surrey this Monday ( May 8th ) emerged via UKNip ( see more set photos here ) in the BBC (UK) and Starz (USA) upcoming TV adaptation, a limited (four-part) series  Howards End , which is currently filming in and around London. Matt hew 's co-star Hayley Atwell mentioned on her Instagram account that this week will be the last week of filming for HE . No air date has been announced as of yet this mini-series. Some new movies, casting, release dates, and filming news info. featuring some  P&P actors  here that I thought I'd post them all in the same post... Here's today's quick  news round up  of  TV  and  film news  (including  casting calls ,  a  film synopsis ,  trailers ,  release dates ,  festival news ,  etc. ) of the following  P&P (2005) actors: Keira Knightley , Matthew Macfadyen , Donald Sutherland , Judi Dench , Penelope Wilton , and Tom Hollander all in one post!   First up...

Spotted on set in London yesterday were  Any Human Heart  and  Pillars of The Earth  stars  Matthew Macfadyen  and  Hayley Atwell  as they reunited are currently filming and co-starring in BBC (UK) and Starz (USA) upcoming TV adaptation, a limited (four-part) series  Howards End . A few new photos of Matthew and Hayley on set of HE were posted via UK's Daily Mail and were taken by Wenn.com, which you can see above and more below...

Currently filming one of her many upcoming films for 2016,  Rosamund Pike   was spotted filming a proposal scene with her Jack Reacher co-star David Oyelowo in their new film, A United Kingdom directed by Amma Assante ( Belle ). The film is slated for a 2016 release. Jack Davenport (Norrington of POTC movies), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter movies and most recently in Belle directed by Assante), and Laura Carmichael (aka Lady Edith Crawley in Downton Abbey ) also star. The 4-time Academy Award ( 6-time BAFTA and 2-time Golden Globe ) nominated 2005 film, Pride & Prejudice starring Academy Award nominee Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen began filming 10 years ago this month ( July 19th, 2004 ). The film was shot entirely on location in the UK , including Derbyshire , Wiltshire and Kent . The P&P cast and crew spent their most fun and "happiest" summer ( 3 months! ) filming the movie from July to October 2004 . In retrospect, here are a compilation of various cast interviews (mostly, you've read/heard them from interviews and the P&P DVD extras ) and what the cast said their experiences were like filming P&P movie and bonding with each other...

Matthew Macfadyen is back on set of his upcoming film The Trapp Family: A Life of Music as filming resumes with director Ben Verbong and co-stars Yvonne Catterfeld , Eliza Bennett , and the rest of the cast. Several new on set photos of MM and co-stars has been released via Salzburger Nachrichten and Rex Features . The film wraps up filming in mid-June of this month. It is planned for a theatrical release sometime later this year or early next year. It is scheduled to premiere in November 2015 in Salzburg Mozart Cinema. Several new on set ( Season 3 ) and behind the scenes cast photos of BBC America 's  crime mini-series   Ripper Street   starring  Matthew Macfadyen  (as  Detective Inspector Edmund Reid ) has been added to BBC America's site for Ripper Street featuring some Matthew images on set . The series continues with Episode 4 this week on Wednesday ( May 20th ) at 10/9c .  Jerome Flynn , and  Adam Rothenberg   also star. Check out some S3 set/BTS photos of MM from RS set below...

As filming for Matthew Macfadyen 's upcoming film The Trapp Family: A Life of Music is underway with director Ben Verbong and co-stars Yvonne Catterfeld , Eliza Bennett , and the rest of the Trapp family in Austria, a new on set photo ^ featuring Matthew with director Ben Verbong and I think two of the youngest Von Trapp kids (photo credit: Egelseder) emerged via Tips . The cast and crew moved to another location last week for more filming of the movie. I think they (cast and crew) are currently on break, or at least MM 's co-star Miss Bennett is, as she mentioned on her Instagram last April 30th that she's back in England and is still there. Matthew Macfadyen has been filming for about two weeks now on his upcoming film The Trapp Family: A Life of Music with director Ben Verbong and co-stars Yvonne Catterfeld , Eliza Bennett , and the rest of the Trapp family cast (Photo credit above: ORF ) in Austria. The cast and crew did a photocall on set as well as did brief interviews here (including several on set photos and article in German). Catherine ( Kate Middleton ), the Duchess of Cambridge made an official visit (her last official engagement before her maternity leave) to the set of Downton Abbey   ( Penelope Wilton   co-star as   Isobel Crawley , she was there on the set and was seated next to the Duchess , who's seated in the middle in the front in the above press photo ^ with DA's award winning writer/creator Julian Fellows ) at Ealing Studios today, March 12, 2015 in London, England. The Duchess met the cast (sans Maggie Smith , Allen Leech , and Lily James ) and crew of Downton and looked to have enjoyed herself. Downton Abbey is currently filming Season 6 . Carey Mulligan  has been spotted today filming on set of one of her upcoming films, Suffragette via ET Online . Here's the caption via ET Online... It's your first look at Carey Mulligan in Suffragette ! Mulligan was snapped filming at Parliament on April 11, 2014 in London, England. Suffragette, which stars Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter and Meryl Streep as the foot soldiers of the early feminist movement, is the first film to be allowed to shoot in the Houses of Parliament. Suffragette is scheduled to be released in 2015. Updated 10/11/13 : Three more new Gone Girl set photos featuring Rosamund Pike as Amy Dunne added below... Rosamund Pike is currently (and was spotted filming a scene with director David Fincher) filming Gone Girl in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. It started principal photography last week . Last night's Primetime Emmy Awards host, Neil Patrick Harris ( How I Met Your Mother ) confirmed on Jay Leno last week that he's going to be in this film and he will start filming his scenes today (right after he hosted the Emmys ). Speaking of the Emmys, Gone Girl director David Fincher won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for Netflix's House of Cards .   Gone Girl Nick ( Ben Affleck ) and Amy Dunne ( Rosamund Pike ) have a difficult marriage. Keira Knightley (co-starring opposite Benedict Cumberbatch ) as Joan Clarke in The Imitation Game was spotted on set along with Cumberbatch filming a scene or two for their movie in Hertfordshire , England, UK. The film started principal photography last week . Some photos of them on set have surfaced in various entertainment sites and blogs. You can see a few of those below. Filming for the upcoming independent feature film, Pride and Prejudice (2010) , a modern day tale of first impressions started earlier this month ( May 8th ) in Colorado Springs, Colorado (USA). Director Bonnie Mae has been keeping me updated on the filming status of this film and as usual, she was awesome enough to have sent me the following BTS and on set photos and had given me permission to post them here as well.
