Mixed Media Layout with tutorial

Namaste Friends!!

This is Kriti today with a tutorial this time and this will be my last post for Papericious. It was a wonderful experience for me. Aastha and her team is super awesome and most helpful. So, coming towards my project, I had made a mixed media layout using Papericious Ethereal paper pack.

Have a look...

To make this firstly, I had taken a sheet from the respective paper pack and applied white gesso over the selected area

After that, made a pattern using Papericious White Crackle paste and stencil.

Next, spray some blue color over it.

After finalizing my composition, I have sprayed some white gesso.
For embellishments, I have used jute chord, laces and shaker beads from Papericious.

Some close- up pics..

I hope you like my project....
Once again , I want to thanks Aastha and team for the wonderful  opportunity, to design for Papericious. Papericious is like kid to me....I will really miss it.

Lots of love and hugs!!

Card with Ethereal Pattern paper

Hello Friends!!!!

I always saves even a bit of pattern paper as i believe there are endless ways these tiny bits can be used, for today i have a card creating using the scrap strips of Ethereal Pattern paper. The colors and prints of this paper pattern is amazing which i club with  handmade flowers creating using the Sigma Cardstock.
For creating the background i roughly tear the edges of the pattern paper and layer them on colored cardstock  with clear dry glue.
Once all the layers are dried properly, tone down the pattern paper with a light was with white gesso . Next rolled up few pieces of pattern paper as pipes and arranged them in the center of the card.
Finally finished of the card with handmade flowers created using Sigma cardstock  and dream catcjer chippie.
Thank you so much
Hope you like my work for today

Vellum Lanterns

Hello people!

Chirali this side with two of the projects prepared from newly released Papericious Vellum Cardstock which are of a great quality.

So here they are:

Let's go for one by one for the details:

First is the stamped and coloured one. It's a very simple to make.

I Cut the vellum after measuring the same by putting on the waste tape ring. Then stamped with archival ink and lastly coloured them.

Now with tacky tape, I adhered the same to the waste tape ring and done. Put the lights in it and enlighten your houses.

For the second one, I used some die cuts to give an effect of sloppy land and then added cutouts from ethereal paper pack and some clouds with Papericious twinkling spark on them.

I have tried to give an effect of snow on vellum
grass.

I hope you liked both the projects.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs,
Chirali :)
