Decoupage - Wall Decor

Hello Crafty souls, welcome back!
Tanvi here today with a decoupage home decor post.
I started by painting a section of the wooden plaque using Bracket Green Chalk Paint & dry brushing with Natural White Chalk Paint.
Next I tore the background paper from Fly Away Decoupage Paper for my project & glued it to the base. I also used the other design paper from this set & decoupaged a mason jar.
Some stenciling for added texture & I had a beautiful home decor piece ready!
Here is a close up of the stenciling that coordinates so well with the pattern of the decoupage paper-
Used crackle paste to stencil the text-

Thanks for stopping by today & Happy Decoupaging!
Love,

Up Up and Away Frame

Hello girls
This is Parul here. Hope you are doing great and playing along our ongoing challenge :)
So as always, today I have a CAS (Clean and Simple) project to share with you where I have used Hot Air Balloon Chippies and Fly Away Decoupage papers from Papericious.
Both hot air balloons have very pretty details. I covered one with Gesso and then coloured with blue and green colours.
And look at those butterflies! They are so much beautiful <3 I fussy cut them from Decoupage paper and adhered with the help of glue.
The sentiment is hand written and background has been created using water colours.
I am going to put this in my study area. Such a happy thought it is :)

I hope I have left you inspired. Do let me know in comments.

Ephemera Love

Hello and good morning! ^__^

I'm Halak and today I have a layout to share with you that I made using the Papericious Ephemera Paper Collection & Die-cuts.

This layout is symbolic, the moments that comprise of our lives are like butterflies, always fluttering past us... not all are beautiful and stunning, there is an equilibrium, a balance of sorts.
But.. what you take from these experiences is your choice alone, so always choose to collect and think fondly of the happy memories that came across your way as beautiful moments.

In a nutshell, why be sad
when there's so much to be happy about? :)

These are the 5 sheets that I used to create my layout :

The Ephemera paper stack is super gorgeous, perfect for shabby chic, vintage looks but it's also got some subtle color... so you can mute or brighten up the color/s like I did in my layout.

This paper collection also has
co-ordinating die-cuts which match the pattern papers beautifully and are very budget-friendly.

Some cool bit of trivia... I noticed that one of the sheets in the Ephemera stack has this statement written in French...

"La beauté est dans les yeux de celui que regarde"

I do know a bit of french, and on translation, this statement means :

"Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder."

Such a lovely thought. :)

Also one of the pattern papers from this set (the one on the extreme right in my picture featuring the papers) has patterned stripes running horizontally across the sheet and if you ask me, they do look like gorgeous pieces of washi tape onto pattern paper. (Well that's how I cut that sheet up and used it in my layout!)

All in all, a very versatile collection with a lot of components!

Hmm.. what is it that I hear? You'd like to see a close up picture...?

Of course I have a close up for you! Check it out :

And that's that! I hope you liked my project and enjoyed reading my little tid-bits and recommendations pertaining to this collection!

Till next time dear friends, have a lovely day!
