Home Décor Plaque With Planter

Hello Everyone, Today I am on the blog with yet another home décor plaque with planter. This plaque is simple yet elegant to beautify your home during this Monsoon Season.

This plaque was made using pretty simple wood and some leftover plyboard. I took a plaque of the size of 14" by 8" and I pasted a Hut shaped frame on the top which is part of a broken frame lying in my home and painted it using Folk Art sheep skin chalk paint.

Further I did  decoupage on the whole plaque using Papericious _ Morning Benovelence Decoupage Papers .I also gave two coats of Papericious Matt Varnish on top of it. I used Papericious Decoupage Glue  to paste the paper on the plaque.

Later I attached a bottle clamp to attach an empty jar at the base.

With the planter attached to the plaque, you can add some fresh refreshing or artificial plants to your space! For my planter I added some water in the jar and added  money plant to it. I hope you like what I have created. So give it a try by using simple supplies and waste wood at your home and stylize your front entryway and wow your guests with this plaque with planter!

Hope you like my creation . That's all for today .

Love n Hugs

Rustic Decoupage Kitchen Hanger

Hello everyone , Today I am on the Papericious blog to share with you a handmade decoupage wall hanging plaque - perfect country style decor for cozy home or kitchen for hanging coffee mugs or some utility items. I created it using amazing  Decoupage papers and ornate MDF base with frame , both by Papericious.

Material Used

Decoupage is the main technique I have used to make this wall Hanger.

First I painted the base using Folk Art Chalk Paint- Sheep Skin. I then painted the frame using Folk Art Chalk Paint - Java.I highlighted the frame using Prima Antique Gold Wax.  My Caffeine Time. Decoupage paper pack has two papers and I combined both the papers on the wooden base and pasted them using Papericious decoupage glue. Once the paper was pasted I applied one coat of decoupage glue on top of that. In the last I sealed my project using two coats of Papericious Varnish. I then glued the frame on the base using Fevicol. Lastly hooks were attached to the plaque to add some utility to it.

This wall hanging cup hanger plaque is made for your special space in your home! A little touch can make you feel special in every aspect! This kitchen hanger also makes an ideal choice for a housewarming gift as well.

Hope you liked the project.

Happy Crafting!

Love

Sharing some close ups of the birdhouse now. I have decoupaged two sides & done a bit of stenciling over the decoupage.

To add some texture to the roof, I have used one step crackle medium.

Here is the coordinating tag -

We also have my teamie Parul sharing her inspiration for this challenge.
Lets see what she has for you -
I wanted to gift something to my mom and what could be better than a set of cash envelopes. So I came up with this set. It has got 10 money envelopes and a keepsake box to keep them all.  I also made a matching tag with it :)  And she really loved this present.
I used "Hooked" Paper Pack from Papericious.

That's all from us today & hope you will all share the handmade gifts made for this festive season & join the September Challenge.

Door Hanger with Giggles Galore Pack by Tanvi Shah

Good Morning!
Hope you are all enjoying the inspiration posts from my teamies showcasing the adorable baby packs. It's my turn today & I have a cute door hanger to share. I enjoy using papers to decoupage & selected a broad striped pattern from the pack to decoupage the hanger.
I had a super easy hack to use Scrapbook Papers for Decoupage in my post HERE. I proceeded the same way.
Once the base was ready, I selected another cute product Feeder - 3D Shaker Chippis to embellish the same. Some fussy cutting & flowers to adorn the door hanger & viola I had made a quick & cute accessory!

Decoupage Bottle using Bliss Paper Pack by Tanvi

Hello Crafty Souls!
Its summer in India & am sure most of us are trying to beat the heat by staying indoors. The Papericious "BLISS" pack with its soft soothing pastels is sure to you down cool! 😃
Before I share my project, a little about the papers - This pack contains twenty four 12x12 inch single sided papers, in 12 different coordinating designs, acid and lignin free & Made in India and is priced at ₹595/-

This pack is exclusively designed for Gulati Emporium & you can purchase from them - https://www.instagram.com/gulati_emporium/

My inspiration today is a decoupage bottle using one of the geometric designs from this pack.

Now, if you have this pack or the Gilded Onyx papers, you will wonder how I managed to used these 220gsm papers on a curved surface!

When I received these in my DT kit, I so wanted to use them to decoupage & placed a sheet on the bottle on my work space. It looked absolutely classy & elegant, I was wondering how to make this possible! Necessity is the Mother of taking Chances said Mark Twain & why not 😇 ! I sprayed some water on the back of the paper & slowly with a steady hand separated the layers & was overjoyed to find the top foiled layer peel.

OMG I soon had a rice paper like sheet ready to be used on the bottle!
Paint the bottle using Chalk Paint - Duck Egg. Trim the paper to size &  decoupage  it on the bottle.
I also gilded the rest of the surface with gold foil, perfect for the foiled sheets!
Hope you like this little hack & will use these to decoupage!

Good bye until my next post!
Cheers,
