Personalized 60th Anniversary Card with Artbooking Text

My friends are celebrating a milestone anniversary so I made them a card using Design Space and Close to My Heart's Artbooking cricut cartridge.

I was able to program Design Space to both cut Happy Anniversary, hearts and 6o and write their names onto the hearts.  The inspiration for my card came from Freshly Made Sketch #195.

Throwing a Curve in for Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge #60

If you are looking for the OWH Card Making Day Blog post please go here.

Welcome back to another Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge--designed by yours truly this time!

My card uses Close To My Heart products:
For Always paper
Paradise Flowers (retired)
Shimmer Brads by Making Memories

I could have used the CTMH Art Philosophy, Artiste or Artbooking Cricut cartridges to make my flowers but the Paradise Flowers were already made and came in great colors.    I hand drew the curved line and added some marker to it.

We can't wait to see what you create using this sketch!   Please use a direct link to join us here and include a link back to us in your blog post.  (Feel free to post our sketch graphic too to let your readers know about our challenge.)

Please take the time to visit the rest of the Design Team's blogs and leave them some appreciation.

Color Dare #22 Twilight and Sweet Leaf

Twilight is one of my favorite Close To My Heart colors and it is featured in this week's Color My Heart Color Dare paired with Sweet Leaf.  The Twilight strips on my card are from the Florentine paper pack (retiring Jan.31).  The stamp is from the December Stamp of the Month called Year Round Cheer.  I used a 2.25" circle punch to cut into the Twilight paper and then stamped the image in Twilight ink onto the Sweet Leaf base.  Embellishments I used are Silver Shimmer Trim, Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel and a Silver Metallic pen. All products are available on my website through links provided here.

If you want to see other examples of these two colors together please check out these links:  Baroque Borders, and  Rock the Block sympathy card,

Freshly Made Sketches #57, Cut it Up Challenge #4 and RRR #58

As usual I really liked the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and decided to combine it with a Halloween theme as in Cut it Up Challenge and Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used Close To My Heart Hooligans paper (retired) with a bat cut from the Close To My Heart Cricut Artiste cartridge.  The Pear CS was embossed with a cuttlebug folder. The card is 6.5" x 5" and the bat was cut at 2.5" (pg. 76 of artiste handbook).  The greeting inside the bat's wings is from the Thriller stamp set from Close To My Heart (also retired). The bat was outlined with a CTMH Silver Metallic Marker and the eyes are shimmery silver brads.   Don't you just love the eyeball ribbon that I found?
