Sparkling Thanksgiving Card with Freshly Made Sketch #561

This card was made with pretty Autumn Blaze paper by Recollections and a Happy Turkey Day stamped in Cinnamon Ink.  Gold Holographic poster board was used as accents for the Postage Frame dies and Layered Leaf dies.

Here is the fabulous Freshly Made Sketch that inspired my card layout:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
A Place to Start--Words of Thanks
      Sweet Stampin'--Attitude of Gratitude
Cut it Up--Thanks/Thanksgiving with a diecut

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

Masculine Congratulations Card with Tuesday Morning Sketch #595

My nephew just got hired for his dream job.  He has quite a dry sense of humor so I thought I would try to honor him with my own sense of funny with this card.

This card is based on this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch #595.  I rotated the card ninety degrees and replaced the background medallions with patterned paper featuring rocks.  The small horizontal paper strip was replaced with a bent arrow image to highlight the "You Rock" sentiment.

Here is the Tuesday Morning Sketch that inspired (however loosely) my card layout:

      Almond Card Stock
      Cinnamon Card Stock
      Cinnamon Ink
You're Awesome Cardmaking Stamp Set (retired)

Other:
River Rocks patterned paper sold by Big Lots (many years ago!)

I'm also sharing this card with the following challenges:
     C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #589--Anything Goes
     Cute Card Thursday #676--Anything Goes
     Krafty Chicks #549--Stamp Act
     Paper Shelter #459--For the Boys

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

:) Marie
