Fall Themed Get Well Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch #493

Welcome back to another Atlantic HeartsSketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a centered horizontal band with a focal circle to the right with leafy embellishments underneath.  I chose to use leaf sprigs from retired CTMH "Chelsea Gardens" stamped in matching inks from Fern, Autumn Terracotta, New England Ivy.  The Pomegranate sprigs were cut from an Olive Branch Background Thin Cut Die.  The background paper is very old New England Ivy B & T paper over New England Ivy Card Stock.  The greeting is from "Get Well Soon".  The horizontal band and circle are Colonial White Card Stock.

This next photo captures the sparkle created by stamping with Versamark Ink, then Pomegranate ink and then using Polysparkle Tinsel Embossing powder.  (All retired CTMH products).

Here is our fabulous sketch that inspired my card layout and for you to try.  Our challenge is open until Sunday evening, October 9 and you can link up your project here.  We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some bloggy comment love. Please stop by our blog on Wednesday to see what the rest of the talented Design Team has to inspire you.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #433 with Dreamin' Paper

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features 3 long panels with a center rectangle and a circle element.  I chose to slice up an older Close to my Heart paper called Dreamin' in 3 parts because this pretty paper will also qualify for the current Color My Heart Color Dare #456 which is to use colors on the opposite side of the color wheel.

Besides the Dreamin' paper my card features other retired CTMH products such as Goldrush Card Stock and Pacifica Card Stock.  The Scalloped Circle Thin Cut Die was cut from Almond Card Stock and the sentiment was cut from scraps from a Holographic poster board from a previous project with Honey Bees "Bitty Buzzwords" dies.

Here is our fabulous sketch this week.  Our challenge ends Sunday evening, August 15. You can link up your creation here.  We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some bloggy comment love.

Seasons in Motion Thanksgiving Cards with Color Dare #490 Orange Palette

I'm loving the Close to my Heart Seasons in Motion special and have made a slew of Thanksgiving cards with these stamps and die cuts. I've used Orange colors for Color Dare #490--Shades of Orange. Notice how the scarecrow seems to be waving his hands as the "hello" tab is moved.

In this card the greeting switches from "Grateful" to "For You".

The colors are Goldrush and Paprika.  I used some older Goldrush B & T paper and a very old Thanksgiving stamp by Stampendous.

Here is the Color Dare graphic:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
     Die-Cut Divas--Thanks or Thanksgiving
     Festive Friday--Thanksgiving
     Heart 2 Heart--Thankful

Check out the adorable images in the Seasons in Motion special:

So even though it may be too late to send Thanksgiving cards you can still use these stamps for adorable winter holiday cards.  There is also a special scalloped animation window and tabbed insert die set.

This special promotion is available until December 31, 2020 or until supplies last.  You can get them here.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

Use Your Stash Blog Hop--Colors of Thanksgiving Paper Destash

It's time for our monthly Use Your Stash Blog Hop where we share what we've made using older product.  This month we were challenged to use "Colors of Thanksgiving" in a paper destash.  If you are coming from Priscilla Gotham's blog you are on the right track.  (If you get "lost" along the way you can also check Priscilla's blog for a list of all the participants).

I needed to make some Thank You cards so I dug through my paper drawer and found some old (yet still beautiful) Close to My Heart paper called "Small Leaves".

Close to My Heart products used:
     Small Leaves paper pack (retired)
     Artistry Cricut Collection stamp
     Barn Red CS (retired)
     Champagne CS
     Goldrush CS
     Barn Red Ink
     Clear Embossing Powder
Thank You wood stamp--retired--it has a DOTS logo on it!
     Gold Foil Tape
     3D Foam Tape

It's Autumn at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog

Welcome back to another Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog post where we love to share what we make with our Cricut cartridges!  The current theme is Autumn and I chose to use the Close to My Heart Artfully Sent cartridge to make this beauty:

     Artfully Sent cartridge
     Goldrush CS
     Champagne CS
     Barn Red CS (retired)
Vineyard Berry ink--sponged onto Goldrush CS (retired)

Other products:
Wings of Fire Rhinestones by Studio 18
     Gold Metallic marker by Cricut
The "tree with branches" card from Artfully Sent (pg.11 or #M10114D) was cut from both Champagne and Barn Red CS.  The Barn Red tree trunk was then placed inside the Champagne tree trunk and over the Goldrush CS which was lightly sponged with Vineyard Berry Ink.  I hand wrote the Happy Birthday greeting inside the Goldrush banner with the Metallic Gold Cricut pen.

Since this is a birthday card for my dear sister who loves everything Autumn I'm entering this card into the Seize the Birthday challenge.

We hope that you will visit the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog to see what the other fabulous Designers have made and share YOUR Autumn themed cricut project with us.  You have until Sunday October 25 at 11PM EDT to link up with us here.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!
