used lots of nestabilities and sizzix dies, papermania brads, card candy and lots from my crafty stash!.. and a shop bought calendar and post it note pad

..... and what a difference a few weeks make  .. my brother has had to have surgery twice around his heart , for a blockage which seems to have cause swelling to his face and arm/hand ..and meant he couldn`t have dialysis for a few days too..so as you can guess he has been very poorly ..but this weekend i have this amazing photo to share ..him sat up (yep not lying down) and he had used a pencil and written something , that i feel is very clear ..using his left hand .. as he cannot use his right after the accident

Yes i am back ..just for this week , i have not been creating cards for a few months ... but since the New Year making Angels ( see at bottom of the page)

 Above is a photo taken of my brother and his wife, the last photograph i have before my brother`s life changing accident on the 24th May 2014 -  yes it 252 days, and he is making a very slow , but determind recovery...and has just been moved to a new subcute home, where physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, cognitive rehabilitation therapy, and  occupational therapy can start on his rehabilitation..on getting him eating ,walking and for his traumatic brain injury...

Now to explain why have been making ANGELS from glass beads :~

below is the website (sansoxygen.com) set up by my brothers wife and friends , keeping an update on my brothers progress and a place for friends to donate to the fund ... nothing is free in America , and as my brother was working free lance as a font designer and had been living in the country for less than two years,and was the major bread winner, my sister-in-law has no income coming in or help from the state, so is relying on family and  friends ...who have been amazingly supportive.

so, here i am making glass Angels  , to send to people who have kindly donated through me on my facebook page (see below)..here are a few i have made...

well i am back from CALIFORNIA, seeing my brother and family.. and look who i met on my trip !!??  .... CHRISTINE ADOLPH ... (swoon).... a friend of my sister-in-law, and one amazing artist and designer, i have been such a fan, for years, of using her papers, stamps and stickers designed for CREATIVE IMAGINATIONS .

(sorry Christine for the "bad" photo , Christine had been poorly and i have no makeup on!) ..what a sweet lady you are , so gracious about your amazing creations and a big THANKYOU for those papers, i will be making a scrapbook very soon, of my amazing holiday ... was a delight to meet you, once i`m over my jet lag, i am inspired to get crafting again , it has been far to long...

well i have just had my 4th blog anniversary ~started my blog 24th februrary 2008 ~so i thought i would change my photo ~think 4 years is enough of that old one!!..any clues how to just have a head shot (instead of all of me)!!???

anyway onto the two cards i have made, no~one enjoys making sympathy cards, unfortunately i have had to make two today..... my thoughts are with both families (one being Lewis`s friend Jack who lost his grandad over the weekend and the other for a dear craft blogging friend who has lost her mum)..also thinking of my dear friend vicki who buried her mother~in ~law today!

well no card today ~i am showing a photo of my brother and his son ~yesterday they were reunited together in england after 5 years of so much heartache for all the family ~ our prayers have been answered ~ i hope now they can move on, living together ~and my parents will have the chance now to see their grandson grow and develope , and my boys grow up with their only cousin, only a car drive away ~i wish them all the best and hope my nephew settles in england ~after living in so many different place/ countries ~the place he was born, and my brother...... well he now has what he has so patiently waited for.
for anyone torn apart by being seperated from your loved ones ~there is always hope!

ps i wish my ex SIL , her husband and son all the very best in their new life now in new zealand.
