yes another christmas card this morning ..but my first try with PROMARKERS.. really not sure , must admit i nearly cried at the result and wanted to head straight back to my water colour paints.... i guess i must give it a few more tries before i give up (and my DH had so kindly got me a few packets to get me started)

thought i would show my valentines card i have made for my DH!! (not done his birthday card yet, on the same day ~bet the postman thought he was popular when he was younger!!) i have used the fab sketch over on ROSES ON PAPER (link on side bar)

used new stamp from belles`n whistles, papermania papers, nestabilities circles,various quickutz heart dies, sizzix flowers/hearts decorative strip and buzzcraft wording. brads and glitter from my stash.

just a little tale about the card i am showing today ~while making it yesterday ~lewis (my 5 year old) was off school with a bad cold and asked "who`s that card for??" ~ " daddy" i replied to which he answered "YUCK!!" bit taken a back he then added " daddy will hate pink"!! well only a 5 year old boy could say that and give that look of complete disgust and get a smile in reply!!

here we are again monday morning and time for a new sketch over onhttp://christmasandbirthdaycards.blogspot.com/ the new sketch is created by melissa ~hope you have as much fun using it as i did!! ~although i had to improvise a little as i stamped the image on straight and not point to point!!! (if you know what i mean)

i used english paper company xmas paper, belles `n whistles gingerbread love stamp, cuddlybuddly word circle, nestabilities label and pinking circle dies , ribbon/bow from my stash ~ and a little glitter.

good morning everyone today i am showing two xmas cards, using another fab sketch over on IC SKETCHES (link on side bar) and followed the challenge over on QUIXOTIC ~"tearing"!

above i have used this gorgeous stamp from ladybug and friends, cuddlybuddly circle wording, cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and some hand stitched crosses!!
