wish upon a star

very quick in and out today ~as it is aarons 12th birthday today ~so am busy bee getting sorted for party tea tonight ~and also our main computer will not let me onto my blog?? ~i usually do my post from our main compter and everything else from my laptop ~so had to send pics to my laptop to do this post ~gosh while paul is trying to sort out the compter!

today i am showing another card for easter ~ used the fantastic sketch over on trulyscrumtious their them this week is "flower power", also over on stampavie and more challenge formally know as stamp with sarah kay the theme this week is "dots and stripes". (links to these sites on my side bar)
used this fab image from my dear friend kristin, HOTP papers, oval and oval scalloped nestabilities, cuttlebug swiss dots and distressed stripes embossing folders, rose border emboss/punch, hero arts word stamp, daisy and dandelion flower stamp, finished with stickles glitter.

well today i am showing my last christmas card ~at last!! (card for paul from the boys!!) used the fabby sketch over on friday sketchers ~really need to get a very large tag die (any ideas??)
used HOTP and basicgrey papers, sugarnellie ~pringle stamp, small tag punch, ribbon, gems ,brad and stickers from my stash ~i guess what ~NO glitter!!!
over on cute card thursday they have an "open theme" ~so i`m guessing this card will fit the challenge!!
cannot believe it is the weekend before xmas ~the boys have finished school now ~paul has to work sunday/monday/tuesday/wednesday ~and back boxing night ~yes royalmail keep working~you think they would give the workers more time, after such a busy time for them!!! still mustn`t complain ~he still has a job (at the moment)

magnolia christmas

well today i am showing my christmas card using the wonderful sketch on magnoliameetsstamavie challenge ~was a great sketch to work with and how i love my magnolia stamps!! so had great fun making this card. (have to say i took this pic at a strange angle trying to find the light)
used chilly tilda, fatherxmas and tilda with sledge magnolia stamps, nestabilities oval die, HOTP xmas paper, papermania sticker, ribbon, flower embellishments, and gems from my stash. finished with glitter ( need to click on pic to get detail)
well lewis is still home ~ had a bad night with him crying and wanting to be down stairs!! ~so both very tired today ~hope he is well enough to go back tomorrow for his last morning before xmas hols!!
really need to finish my cards now ~so i have time with the boys next week, hope you are seeing the end to your christmas card making list, byeee for now xx

well today i am showing my card using the sketch on pennyblack challenge this week, also including the theme on cutecard thursday which is "heart".
used "royalmail" pennyblack stamp, HOTP paper, cuttlebug script embossing folder on red vellum, stampin`up word circle, quickutz photo corners and hearts, papermania xmas ribbon, finished with glitter.

well today i am showing my xmas card using the sketch from saturday on one stop craft, the theme for the card is"one for the boys" as on the SBS18 challenge this week.
used HOTP papers, stamin`up "loads of love" stamp sets, cuddly buddly circle wording, gems and ribbon from my stash ~finished with a little gel pen (no glitter for boys!!)

what`s under the tree?

today i am showing my card using the great sketch on sketch saturday, and the theme is "the natural feeling" on house mouse challenge.
used HOTP xmas papers, house mouse ~christmas cookie eaters, ellison xmas light strings, see d`s word stamp, ribbon and string form my stash ~finished with glitter.
this card was made with my oldest boy in mind ~he loves his cookies ~is it ok for a 11 year old??
