used papermania paper, penny black~"a perfect fit" stamp, elzybells wording stamp ~" when you stop believing in santa clause you get underwear for christmas", nestabilities labels, stampin`up scalloped edged punch, ribbon from my stash, finished with glitter.

well today i am showing a folding card i have made for one of my september birthday crafting friends ~well us september birthdays have to stick together!!
used the fab sketch over on LILI OF THE VALLEY ~(don`t have any of those gorgeous stamps yet ~ they are on their way soon) and followed the challenge on JUST MAGNOLIA ~ "ribbons and bows!" ~ links on my side bar.


to make this card i used k&co paper, magnolia:~ sitting tilda , large watering can and wording, nestabilities pinking circles, various ribbons, bow, flowers and brads from my stash finished with glitter. ~on the folded part of the card (shown below) i used the same as above except i used faerie poppets wording ( not made the inside yet!!)

special day ~3 year old

today i am showing a birthday card for a 3 year old ~ using the fab sketch over on SKETCH AND STASH(17) ~got a bit caried away with the stamps ~but you can see the sketch under it all!! also followed the challenge on STAMP FOR FUN ~ "at the sea", and CUTE CARD THURSDAY ~"lazy dayz". used basic grey papers,various new magnolia stamps from the summer collection ~so good to get them stamped up for the first time!!, see d`s wording, brads etc from my stash, finished with glitter.

can i ask if anyone knows if i can use the sizzix decorative strips in my cuttlebug using different plates/pads/platforms!! hope you can help!!

today i am showing a birthday card using the sketch on SUNDAY SKETCH AND STAMP, and following the challenge on STAMP SOMETHING ~ "birthday somethings"

used a whipper snapper image (stamped for me by jo), free papers from papercraft inspirations, sizzix corners, quickutz swirls, nestabilities pinking circle, see d`s wording, flowers and gems from my stash, finished with glitter.

today i am showing a card i made using the sketch over on FRIDAY SKETCHERS (which i have turned on it`s side to get the image in) and following the challenge over on ELZYBELLS ~ "is gingham plaid" ~this was a hard one ~ had to really hunt for plaid paper and ribbon!! but just love this stamp. ~( links on side bar)

all been busy here hospital appointments ~and pauls case still on going at work~ which is a worry for all the family.

smile it`s your birthday

well i thought it was about time i sat down and did some crafting ~it`s been 2 weeks since i got my crafty bits out!! ~and my mother-in-laws birthday is on the horizon!!
been so wanting to ink up my popcorn bears ~so found just the challenges to do so!!
over on CUTE CARD THURSDAY ~ the theme is "tealy good" ~to use the colours teal and red, used the fab sketch over on FRIDAY SKETCHERS and followed the challenge on STAMP FOR FUN ~~"birthday". (links on my side bar)

used my new K and CO paper, popcorn the bear smile stamps (stamped a few times and decoupaged) , nestabilities pinking circles, red vellum and ribbon from my stash ~finished with glitter.

well all is settling down here ~my father is well on the mend now, should be up and running (well not quite) for our holiday, DH paul paid for me to go private and have my scans done instead of waiting over 4 weeks for the NHS~waiting to hear from my doctor ~ all seems well (fingers crossed) ~as for paul well the case bought against him by another work colleague is still being investigated (i cannot talk about it at the moment) ~so again fingers crossed, hope the company see paul is innocent.
have missed seeing all your beautiful creations ~hope i can get some blogging done this evening (if the boys are not fighting!!) byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee for now xx

sorry not around ~ just when life was plodding along nicely ~3 thunderbolts have hit us from the sky ~ hope life gets back on track very soon, and i can get back to crafting and blogging.
