thinking of you

well back to a card today followed the sketch FRIDAY SKETCHERS and followed the theme on MAGNOLIA DOWN UNDER which this week is "spot the dots". (links to the challenges on my side bar)
used papermania paper, magnolia tilda and back ground stamps ,cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, nestabilities pinking circles and deckled rectangles, studio g word stamp, ribbon from my stash.

well the sun is out today ~so washing out blowing in the breeze ~just love the blue skies with a breeze ~ guess my best seasons are spring and autumn , not so keen on the hot weather of summer or the cold/rain of winter. ~thought tilda was dressed for our weather today!!byeeeeeeeeeeeee xx

mans bookmark

tilda in the pink and green

today i am showing this card i made for a blogging friend using the sketch over on BASIC GREY and following the theme of pink and green on JUST MAGNOLIA challenges. (links on my side bar)
used basic grey sulty, fashionable paper, this sweet sitting tilda, nestabilities scalloped edged rectangles, studio g wording, flowers, ribbon and gems from my stash.

st george ~ rose red!

today i am showing my ATC celebrating st georges day ,which was on the 23rd here in england ~ as with the TILDA AND FRIENDS ATC challenge ~thought i would do tilda as an english rose!!
used dcwv rose paper (looks pink in the photo) , tilda with the flower head band, magnolia rose stamps, and finished with glitter!

christmas comfort and joy!

today i am showing a xmas card using the fab sketch over on just christmas and birthday cards ( link on side bar)
used this sweet hanglar image from my dear friend kristin, the backing paper is a thick paper bag!! ~also used stampin`up scalloped edged punch, studio g wording stamp, gems and bow from my stash. finished with a little glitter.
just a quick post today as just got in and waiting for the boys to get in from school xx

my brother (and son)

well no card today ~i am showing a photo of my brother and his son ~yesterday they were reunited together in england after 5 years of so much heartache for all the family ~ our prayers have been answered ~ i hope now they can move on, living together ~and my parents will have the chance now to see their grandson grow and develope , and my boys grow up with their only cousin, only a car drive away ~i wish them all the best and hope my nephew settles in england ~after living in so many different place/ countries ~the place he was born, and my brother...... well he now has what he has so patiently waited for.
for anyone torn apart by being seperated from your loved ones ~there is always hope!

ps i wish my ex SIL , her husband and son all the very best in their new life now in new zealand.

how many fingers are you??

well today i am showing a 1st birthday card for little elsie who lives next door ~cannot believe she is nearly one year old!! used the wonderful sketch over on TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS, they have an added theme of making a childs card!! also this follows the theme on ONE STOP CRAFT ~decorative cuts ( use die cuts) ~links on my side bar.
for this card i used this sweet sugarnellie stamp ( inked up for the first time), cuttlebug birthday embossing folder, quickutz candle, photo corner and hand print dies, sizzix number 1 die, nestabilities deckled edged dies, inkadinkado childrens wording and then finished with a little glitter.

floral fantasy

hope you have your sun glasses on today ~bit busy this card!!! doesn`t look so bad in "real life"!! this is the card i made for my dad to give to my mum for her birthday!! used the wonderful sketch over on stampavie and more, and followed the challenges on craft creations which is "sparkle" and cute card thursday which is "floral fantasy" ~think i have that covered!!
used this sweet hanglar image sent to me from my friend kristin (big thankyou) , basic grey papers, used magnolia flowers in grass, butterfly and bugs stamps, also used sizzix flower stamps to make the big decoupaged flower (in detail down the post), doodlebug flower stamps, sizzix alphabet, ribbon and gems from my stash. finished with lots of stickles glitter.

tilda`s present

today i am showing my ATC for the tilda and friends ATC challenge, the theme this week is a "recipe" :~ 1 ribbon ~ 2 flowers ~ 3 buttons
a lot to get on an ATC!! have used the large magnolia present, basic grey paper, prima flowers and three very small star shaped buttons, with different coloured thread through!! finished with a little glitter.

jagged edge

if you don`t want to see another christmas card look away now!! ~ sorry two in two days ~well i am trying to catch up with my one xmas card a week challenge ~ for this card i have used the fab sketch over on sketch and stash, and followed the theme of the ABC challenge J is for jagged edge. (links to the challenge sites on my side bar)
used this cute tilda stamp my DH got me for xmas and has not been inked up yet, some forgotten xmas papers from a QVC kit, nestabilities deckled edged recangles, see d`s tag stamp, and some holly leaf stickers from my stash ~finished with stickles glitter. (plenty of jagged edges on here i think!)

dreaming of......

well i did say no more easter cards..... so now i have started back on my christmas cards!!!
used the fab sketch over on xmas and birthday cards only, and have also followed the theme over on a spoon full of sugar which is to use dies/punches on your card. (links on my side bar)
have used englishpaper company xmas papers, elzybells image and wording (must find out the name of the stamp!!), stamin`up scalloped edged punch, quickutz stars and lace edge dies, finished with a little sparkle!!

have the worst headache from the boys arguing all day... roll on monday, my father has just phoned could i make a card for him to give to mum for her birthday!!!.....talk about short notice... better get my skates on then... men (even dads , wonder if he has got her present yet??? maybe he has cause normally he phones for me to go with him to get it!!)

chocolate soft centres

today i am showing this card i made for my mums birthday which is this week ~wanted to use a stamp i had not used before ~and found this one at the back of one of my stamp drawers ~why have i not used it before ~rubbish ink ~so now i have my stazon ~it stamps perfectly!!
i didn`t do any crafting over the weekend so was writing down all the challenges to get working on this week ~so many this week were chocolate, browns and pinks!!! could do so many challenges with this one card but decided on just a few.
firstly used this amazing sketch over on sketch saturday~not really one for lots of layers ~but hey really enjoyed making this card.
over on basic grey the challenge was "chocolate soft centres ! mmmmm always think of strawberry creams!
on one stop craft the challenge is "torn! so have torn my paper, and card. ~
then last but not least over on stamp with fun the theme is browns and pinks!!

easter ~hopping happy

yes another easter card ~and it is the last one i promise!! ...now to get back to christmas cards!!!!
used the ATC from my last post, here i have made it into a card using the sketch over on scrapaddicts.
used basic grey papers, messyrabbit bunny and wording, nestabilities deckled rectangles, ribbons from my stash, finished with glitter.

just thought i would show a get well card from aaron to his dad ~as you know my DH paul has been home very ill with flu , so aaron has been staying with my parents ~so he sent this card he had made ...........yes typical 11 year old boy card!!!
well sort of back to normal here ~paul was back to work last night ~and the boys (aaron came back saturday) are playing on their various games ~so peace for 5 mins!!

chocolate bunny

today i am showing you my ATC for tilda and friends ATC challenge which this week the theme is "chocolate" ~so what best than a chocolate bunny and lots of easter eggs!!
well i used the card from a next voucher for the background (bit of re~cycling!!), another messyrabbit with parcel, some hobbycraft egg stamps,and a daisy and dandelion balloon stamp, finished with a little glitter.
