A few months ago I saw this post over on Attic24’s blog and thought I would make a cushion. I kept the design to 3 different colours as I didn’t want to spend too much and have a lot of wool left over. If I’m honest I love the rainbow of colours she used but I think this goes well in my room. Using the chunky wool made it grow quickly and the thickness is just right for a cushion.

I haven’t had time to make much over the last few weeks but with my sister’s birthday coming up I thought I would make a card.
I’d been given the Hero Arts Tiny Flags background stamp for Mother’s Day and wanted to try it out.
I had pinned a card by Jennifer McGuire here a while ago so gave the technique a go.

Can I tempt you? You’d be doing me a favour if you ate some as I really shouldn’t. I’ve lost 9lbs since the beginning of the year, it’s slow but going in the right direction. I pinned a recipe from Frugal queen, Lemon drizzle cake and couldn’t wait to try it. I love baking so find that’s the hardest part of a diet, thankfully my family are often visiting so give me the excuse to bake.
How are things with you? I’m looking forward to my son moving nearer with a new job, we are going to be busy helping him find somewhere to live. Now if my eldest son could only move nearer as well my happiness would be complete.
I’ve not been crafting much I’m afraid, can’t seem to raise the enthusiasm at the moment, hopefully that will change soon. I do enjoy going on your blogs and seeing all you’ve been getting up to though.

I pinned this recipe from attic24 a couple of weeks ago for no-knead artisan bread. Now I’ve been on Pinterest for quite a while and do no more than pin something and then forget about it so when I saw Fiona’s post I had to join in.

For anyone wanting a simple way of making bread I would certainly recommend this.
