Cheeky PinUp Card by Yasmin Tölche

Hello everyone! Yasmin here on the Marion Smith Designs blog today and I have a bit cheeky Pinup card to share with you all :)

This time I played a bit with the "Garment District" line and the 6x6" paper pad. There are gorgoeus elements in the collection that was perfekt for my little pinup girl.

I love fuzzy cutting and I cut out this spool and a spool top. I also used some images found in the Garment district 6x6" paper pad. Punched out some leaves in a little left over Nirvana Collection paper piece and glued them on. Tucked some pieces with the white glitter stems in with the leaves.

Products used on this card:

This weekend I've had an amazing time on a crop with some fantastic girls.. Loads of scrapbooking, shopping and tons of good laughs! What's your weekend been like?

Here it is:

And here is a quick tutorial:

Step 1: gather your supplies.

Step 2: place your first layer using some gesso on the edges
just before gluing

Step 3: place the second layer.
Use Distress Tool on the edges before gluing

Step 4: continue adding layers.
Use 3D foams for 3D effect

Step 5: more layers and embellishments.
I've cut out a rose and placed an image
under the lace.

Step 6: now it's time to place your chip board.
I picked a bird and a lantern for this romantic project.

Step 7,8,9 : just finish adding embellishments...

Mixed Media Canvas with Jelissa

Hi there friends!

Today I'm up on the Marion Smith Designs blog today with a mixed media canvas I created using MSD stamps, Garment District papers and also Junque and Gems embellishments.

Here's the canvas:

My background was created with a lovely blend of water colors, mist and glazes. And I've combined two different small stamp modules from the Curios Stamp set and used them as a repeating motif in my background.

And some close-ups:

A fussy-cut doll from Mad Tea Party

Junque and Gems goodies. I've also dabbed some liquid pearls to accent my stamped images.

A lovely flower from Curios stamp set which is the centre piece of the canvas. Had so much fun layering the colors!

And here's the start to finish video of how I put this canvas together:

And that's all I have for today, thanks for dropping by!
