For my card I have used  a Sizzix stamp and cut set for the bike and arrow. I then used some Papermainia paper and card for my backing page.

Button flowers

Hi Folks we have a new challenge at
Our sponsor this month is 



the theme is use your  " Buttons "
Here is my card 



I have coloured the image with Graphit pens and cut the image out and mounted it on pink card.
I then mounted it onto paper from my stash paper, then added mini button to the flowers.
I then added Craftwork card sentiment coloured to resemble a sun.
To finish off I added a mini bow and button.

Noel

Hi Folks. its Wednesday and that means its a new challenge formCrafting With Dragonflies Challenge Blog

For todays challenge,I have made N-O-E-L buntin using the Xcut dies and Papermania papers and the letters are using the large Diesire die letters. I then coloured  3 of the baubles with Promarkers and mounted them between the letters.

Christmas Progressive 10

Hi Folks there is a new challenge over at the Christmas Progressive challenge
which runs
26th October ~ 23th November
So now let's have a look at this month's challenge - our sponsor this month is Right Said Fred and they have given us the fabulous images for this month!


I have used the Santa image which I have paper pieced by cutting the main items out of one image and using them as a paper pattern instead of printing the image on card. I have added stickles glitter glue to his hat and jacket. The background is from Imagine that just love that paper set.

Stamping with the Dragon


Hi folks its Friday and that means a new challenge from

I am proud to say I have been asked to join the challenge design team
Our theme this challenge is 
"Buttons & Bows"

For my card I have used the wonderful




 So what did I do.
 1. Image coloured with pro-markers, also second image of cat and flowers.
2. Image cut out with  ornate labels one grand Spellbinder die.
3. Background finished with distress inks & brushes.
4. Image mounted on 3 d foam onto backing paper & card. (Bows are in the backing paper too).
5. Decoupage added to flowers and cats head, also button  for flower centres.
6. To finish off I drew lines to make the picture frame look as though  it is hung up and  added a bow.

Candy Cane Teddy


Hi folks its one of Kris' new releases, 
at
Today I have used in my showcase
Here is my card

So what did I do
1. I coloured the image with Pro-markers and added Sakura pen to make it glisten.
2. Mounted image on black card.
3. Used a 6 x 6 card which i embossed with the Crafters Companion embossing folder.
4. Used washi tape on candy cane colours to highlight the card.
5.Used Papermania  glitter silver sentiment and snowflakes to finish card off.

Embellishment stamps & flowers with Sarah Hurley

Hi It's Thursday and that means my post for today using Sarah Hurley products

Today I will be using


So what did I do
1.I used the nuts and bolts stamp to create a background
I actually used the backing paper from the stamp set. Stamped stamp with versamark ink and then gold embossed it, finished it off around the edges with distress ink.
2. Used the cross stitch to go around the backing paper , on the brown card
3. Stamped the tag on kraft paper, cut it out & mounted on brown card. Stamped sentiment in versamark ink and embossed in gold.
4. Cut 3 scalloped circles cut into spirals  and curled using quilling tool for flowers.
5. Used Woodware punch to cut gold leaves,
mount embellishments on 5 x 7 kraft card.
6. Finished off by adding ribbon & pearls

Here is the sketch if you want to join in
 For my card I have used an image from rose blessing and backing papers from soft florals. 
I coloured the image with pro-markers and used spellbinder dies to but out the circle with the rose image which I decoupaged, and scalloped circle from 
rose red Stampin Up card. To finish off the card all the papers were mounted onto a rose red card blank, white glitter peel offs added round the paper edge and a rose red bow added.

All Crafts Challenge August Start

It's the first Monday in the month and that means its a new 
 bi-monthly challenge
at
I am proud to announce that Elaine has asked me to stop, so this is my first official challenge piece
our sponsors this challenge are


 I have decided to alter a large vitamin pot into a pen holder, and forgot to take a photo before  I took the label off 
 So what did I do
1. I stippled the pot with acrylic paint , using a shaving brush in  layers of blue for the sky & green for the ground
 2, I fussy cut 2 of the  flower shelf images from Bugaboo
then coloured them with Promarkers and Graphit pens

3.When the pot was dry I used PVA to stick the images on to the pot

 4. To Finish off I added Papermainia mini buttons to each of the flowers centres. Assorted card butterflies with pearls as their torso and finally blue ric-rak around the tub lid.
 .
Even if I say so myself the pot looks lovely.

Shades of Purple and Butterfly with Eclectic Ellapu


Hi its Sunday and that means its a
 new challenge from the 
The theme this challengeis
Shades of purple with the main focus being butterflies and including one or any combination of the following, brads, buttons, bling (glitter, rhinestones, mists etc) or ribbon.
 So what did I do
1. I stamped the large swallow tail stamp from Stampin up twice once onto purple card and once onto white card in purple ink. 
2. I coloured the image on white card in assorted purple pro-markers.
3. Added purple sparkles   and gems to butterfly.
4. When dry mount onto purple butterfly on 3d foam
both layers
5. Punch out stitched line using Papermainia punch down card blank, mount piece of purple card to co-ordinate.
6.  To finish mount main butterfly then add punched butterflies and gems.
