A Tie!!!!!!!

Here is my card using the Unity Kit of the month, it will be the first time I enter their challenge blog. I decided to go for a Fathers day card. I have used Calypso Coral and Gumball Green ink and card and the image is stamped in soft suede and coloured with Promarkers. i used the soft suede and my brushes just to add a bit of distress to the backing paper. It was then mounted on Basic Gray.

then you buy the set and next challenge you will be sent the image free to use.
This is is my card for the challenge.
I picked thee happy birthday image and coloured it with Promarkers, I then cut the image out with a spellbinder.I coloured the background with ink dusters and my distress inks. I used three images my main image with the sentiment, I then cut the rose and leaves out of the second image and coloured them, the third image was the rose only
which I highlighted with sakura glitter pen.
I then mounted them with 3d glue.
I mounted the image on melon mambo and cut around the shape to give the faux nestie effect.
The papers are from Crafters Companion, then I mounted each layer on the melon mambo which compliments the paper. I used a melon mambo ribbon to finish the card.
Thanks for the freebie image Kris love your new papers too.

our Sponsor is

The winner will receive 7 digis of their choice.
Here is my card made with Ava in the  flower patch. i fell in love with her the minute I saw her
So what did I do,
I used Promarkers to colour  Ava and the grasses in, and used my brushes and distress ink to finish the back ground. I used a Spellbinder ornate labels one to cut the image out and mounted her on to a plain labels one in pink die shape, this was my background for the easel.
The white card is a shaped card from Hunkydory.
I cut another labels one in pink for the bottom inner and paper pierced it the all the way round.
To compliment the daisies on the picture I made daisies with a EZ punch which I mounted 2 flower punches off set to make the flower and added buttercup colour liquid pearls for the centre.
I then cut leaves with a Stampin Up die and coloured the with my pro-markers. these were mounted on 3 foam to make the easel stopper.
To finish off the card I added a butterfly and added buttercup liquid pearls on the thorax.
