Toddler craziness & Updates

Image
So last week I didn't' really know what to do with my free time while the boys were at school and it was super weird with how quiet it was...well, today??  School couldn't come fast enough for me.  I am not sure what was going on inside their little brains and bodies, but holy moly they were cr-a-zy today!! I mean, how in the world have these almost 4 year olds mastered the art of literally not listening to me?  Oye Vey.  They get easier as they get older, right?! If you say no, I'll own you, so only positive answers if you want your freedom---ok, thanks :o)   For whatever insane reason they woke up before 6am--- way too early!   So, I am super tired today and just want to sleep for 24 hours straight...will us parents ever catch up on sleep?  After waking up early, you'd think they had nothing but sugar and I promise, they did not.  They bounced off the walls all morning long!  Now, I will admit that there were some giggling that just made me laugh out loud, bu

Preschool!

Oh my goodness, I cannot believe these 2 are starting preschool!!  They are growing up so fast.  We've been going back and forth and decided to put them in.  They had been asking me every day for almost a month if it was time to go to preschool, they were so excited :o) We went last Wednesday to meet their teacher, Ms. Montes.  They were so enthralled with the classroom and all the awesome toys that by the time it was their turn to meet her, they gave her their names and like 2 seconds of their time and then they were off! Ha, such typical 3yr old boys!   Finally the day has arrived!    I took them to pick out new outfits, but before they played at the play place... And then a special treat to McDonalds :o) And then it was time to go to school!!  They were beyond excited and so happy that Daddy came home to take them!! I had to share this pic, because it is the typical "mom licking her finger to clean up the kids face" picture! haha

Holy Rain Storm!

We decided to go hiking on and while we were driving out to South Mountain, the clouds were looking a little darkish and we got a little sprinkled on but when we arrived it wasn't raining so we continued on our hike!  We got a good distance in and up on top of a mountain and it started to sprinkle---we got a quick family picture and then literally within seconds of taking it, it down poured!!  When I say down pour, I mean, underwear, sports bra, socks tennis shoes soaking wet!  We ran down the mountain as fast as we could with two 3 year olds and a teen.  I was able to snap this pic of us running down the mountain...   Everyone seemed to be ok with it, however, Tyson was not a fan!  I think the constant thunder scared him while we were running down the mountain.  But when we got to shelter, he started to ease up a little.  Look at this rain...     Everyone trying to "skip stones"   Since it stopped raining, we
