Last year in my 20's...

I know it's been forever since my birthday, but I realized that I had not posted anything...especially it being my "golden birthday" as I have been told :o)  I turned 29 on the 29th...of August :o) I worked during the day {bootastic} and then had an awesome dinner at Z tejas {yummy!} with my family!!  It was anything crazy, but it turned out to be a great day!! I got flowers from the boys {all 3!}...super pretty!   My girlfriend {who's birthday is the day before mine!} got me these balloons :o)   Do I need to give this one a caption?!   Me and my Sista!!   Got some awesome gifts from the family...lots of date night gift cards!!  And we had a super delicious cake...even though the lady decorated it for a young girl, I still thought it was awesome! Sorry Babe; you may not live that down!  Haha!    My kids! Here's to my last year in my 20's!!

3's & Glue...

Holy Lord Almighty!  What a night (and day!) it's been...I don't know what is going on with the boys, but my phrase of the night was "Age 3 can suck it"!  Totally not appropriate, but when your 3 yr olds are running around like psycho's, getting into everything and fighting and you go to reprimand them and they just laugh in your face...it will make you say lots of things that may not be parental appropriate!  Thankfully after the crazy tantrums and behavior they finally went down and we got some downtime, but not after I got super glue in my eyes...yes, I said super glue!  Who the heck gets superglue in their eyes???  Well, that would be me...I was trying to fix their puzzle and a bubble must of popped or something, but I got misted (if that's even a word?!) by the glue and my eyeballs have been irritated since. I did rinse them out and use solution a couple times, but it still doesn't make me feel better that my brain is not fully convinced that I a

Ducky Derby!

Yesterday we attended (and helped) with the Ducky Derby to help spread awareness and raise money for MD, specifically the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  What is so special about this, is that both Rob and I work with the family of the little guy we were doing this for, Alex.  Rob works with his Dad, Greg (whom I used to work with/for too) and I work with Alex's uncle, Tim.  He is the sweetest, most special little boy and every time I see him, he is just alwasy so happy and fully of life as if nothing is wrong with him!!  It definitely makes you sit back and get a little dose of reality when I'm complaining about my day.  We were so happy we could help their family and all the families that are affected by this disease.  I am excited to announce that they raised over $5,000.00 and there were almost, if not over, 600 ducks participating in the race!!! {No, they are not real ducks!} Alex & his mommy getting ready to test out the race Check out all those ducks and th

Yesterday, was ready to leave, we were all dressed and I went to get the boys, this is what I found... He was soaking wet, just spraying everything!  He said he was "cleaning his car" but he obviously felt that the windows, ground, door, ceiling and roof needed a clean too!  I did take a video because, despite the frustration I had, he was kind of cute :o)  Although he was not so cute when in a split second he decided to spray mommy...yes, I was fully dressed and ready to go!!    He later then decided to keep us on lock down because every time we opened the door he would just spray the door/window!  He even nailed Tyson...Such a stinker :o)  I finally was able to get him to stop, but then had to get everyone new outfits!

What did you do today??

Here's my conversation with the boys while they were taking a bath tonight... Me: "What did you guys do today?" Tyson: "Went to Ria's." Me: "What did you do at Ria's?" Tyson: "Um...eat." Me: "What did you eat?" Tyson: "Cupcake." "It was white & brown." Me: "All you did was eat today?" Tyson: "Yeah." This is the second day in a row amongst many other days, that he has told me all he has done was go to Maria's and eat!  Apparently the food overshadows the playing with his friends and learning!  He serioulsy cracks me up!!
