And Babies Make...5

The boys have been swimming since Mother's Day and they absolutely love it...Especially the "big" pool!! We bought them a small blow up pool to use, but they are way more interested in what's going on in the big pool :o) So we brought them into the "big" pool for a little fun with daddy... Very goofy face, but we love it! Look no hands!

These little guys are just growing up way too fast! This past month...the boys both got sick :o(  They both had a cold and Tyson got his first ear infection. So for about 2 weeks we were stuck in the house, not fun but they're all better now! And Tyson finally sat up on his own!!  Oh and drools A LOT, hopefully teeth are coming real soon! Their own little personalities are starting to come out. Lincoln is my little cuddle bug and Tyson, well when he's tired he wants nothing to do with anyone! He just wants to be left alone!! Still sleeping & eating great...we've added green beans, watermelon and mango! They've also tried to somewhat feed themselves. Only tried green beans & watermelon so far... Not sharing and fighting over toys has become a consitant thing around our house...Lincoln used to just do whatever he wanted in regards to the toys, but Tyson is not taking it anymore!! I almost forgot to post about Mother's Day! That's how crazy it's been in our household lately :o)  The best gift I got was the ability to "sleep in"! I only slept in until 8 but hey that's better than 5!! I was greeted with yummy donuts, flowers and beautiful gift on the table... We then went to one of my favorite restaurants, Outback!  I absolutely love this place, it was so yummy :o) While we were there I met one of my absolute favorite Soap Opera Actors, Tyler Christopher (a.k.a. Nikolas Cassadine) from General Hospital!  For those of you that don't know I am 100% completely obsessed with General Hospital...I Tivo it everyday and never miss an episode!!!  I even make Rob watch it with me sometimes :o)  Here's how it happened...My brother asked if I wanted a drink so we both went up to the bar ordered our drinks and I just happened to look down the bar and there he was!  I had to make sure it was him so  I waited a minute to see if I could see hi

It definitely feels like they are big boys now that they are taking baths in the "big boy bathtub"!! They (Lincoln especially) think it's the greatest thing that they can splash and splash and no one tells them "no splashing"

Now that we have crawlers it's been quite the adventure...Having a cat makes it that more interesting! I've learned my lesson now and have the cat food blocked from the kids,but I still took video and pictures because he was so stinking cute when he got caught!! What a month this has been! Scooting...rolling...crawling...standing...walking (w/help)... it never ends and we just  love it! Being 8 months old has been pretty exhausting in this household... So exhausting that he can't even stay awake long enough to eat! They were both awake and all I did was walk up the stairs, laid Lincoln down, came back down the stairs and there he was...fast asleep! Not sure why, but this has been a frequent thing around here...both boys have fallen asleep while in the highchairs.  Lincoln has done it twice while eating!!      Our silly little monkeys!! We have learned how to feed ourselves which is absolutely wonderful especially if Mommy or Daddy need to get something done! Reading and playing outside are some of our favorite activities to do!   We get in to everything we're not supposed to... Whether it's crawling, rolling or scooting we're moving everywhere!
